Rosebud latte I think? Valentines seasonal.

This is my go to weekend coffee spot! I love to try their fun seasonal coffee drinks, and they have cozy "for here" mugs to sit and enjoy in house. Great GF toast options, and the smoothies are made with real fruit. The ham and Gruyère croissant warned up is my pastry go-to.

If you are Generation Alpha.... Or even Gen Z.... I'm so sorry to break it to you.... But before you started this: 6 (Six) 7 (Seven) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Nonsense... Us cooler, more hip, much more creative Millennials had.... FIVE07 baby!!! Haha That's right, if you're a Millennial, say it with me! FIVE 07 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ok! I'll Admit, it's definitely not as cool as your "6 7" but hey at least our Five07 has good coffee and good eats. What's up Now Gen Z!? Alright, enough Generation Rivalry. Let's get into this review, shall we? I have lived in Thousand Oaks since 97' and I've seen so many businesses, restaurants, & coffee spots come and go. Some of these eateries have found their niche, attracted a strong following and have thrived. Others have come, tried to reinvent the wheel and due to so many different factors, unfortunately have failed and didn't last long enough to see their potential. Well I am here to tell you... Five07 Coffee Bar and Eatery has from the beginning found their niche, grown their following and to this day, several years after being in business within the city of Thousand Oaks, have continued to thrive and quite honestly, it's so refreshing to see. Although I have only been through here a handful of times over the years, probably to just grab a coffee and go; in recent times I have actually come in with my family, sat down at one of their tables and enjoyed their amazing space. Maybe it's the simple menu, the taste of their coffee drinks, their kind staff, or just their overall sense of community, but Five07 has mastered their craft and they seem to be killing it! Literally every time I pass by here, there's always a crowd of people enjoying what this place has to offer. And if you're a local, you probably already know how good this place is, so I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. But if you're the new kid on the block... I'm pretty sure once you come to Five07, this is gonna be your new go-to spot. To Five07 and it's awesome team, keep doin your thang!

What a wonderful spot! The warm welcoming atmosphere is evident the moment I walked into the eatery. I saw tables with folks working on their laptops as well as folks reading and chatting with each other. This morning I enjoyed a cup of chai tea and although it was a bit sweet for my taste, the warming spices were tasty. Was a beautiful morning so sat outside in the fresh air. I'll be back, there were a lot of interesting food options as well as pastries to check out. It's a little challenging to find, so if you're standing facing the Vons grocery, 507 is tucked in on the right.

Nice working vibe in this place. Almost everyone in there was working on a laptop. Staff was friendly and quick. I got my items to go and the sandwich held up on the ca ride. I got the French toast latte, iced. It was good, not necessarily French toast resemblance but the cinnamon was good. When in the area again I'd go back to try other items.

I love coming to Five07. The seating may be limited but I always enjoy sitting outside. The staff is friendly and the service has always been good. I enjoyed their avocado toast. The red pepper flakes give it an added zing. Overall, if it weren't for the steep prices I'd be here everyday. Definitely recommend for great coffee and food.

Every time I come back here I fall more and more in love with this place. From the warmed breakfast pastries to the delicious mochas, I find very little to complain about. Despite always being busy they bring your order out to you within a reasonable amount of time. After I had my warmed ham and cheese croissant, which was one of the best most flavorful ham and cheese croissants I've ever had, I opted for a warmed almond croissant to finish off my large mocha. Everything was good to the last drop or crumb. My only complaint is that all the outside tables appeared to be dirty, they could use a wipe down after each party. That and well like everything these days, it's pretty pricey. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

This place is great, they had a hip hop Christian playlist overhead when we were inside, lots of seating inside and outside, free wifi, outlets, the whole shebang. A lot of people around were working, catching up with friends, going on first dates, it was a fun place to get energy and people watch. But the drinks and food are miss or barely hit. The food looks great, the toasts are always gorgeous and delicious. The drinks were unfortunately, very disappointing. I got a large Kauai smoothie and it isn't bad, coconut water, pineapple, strawberry, and banana in a large (24oz) and it tastes like crunchy coconut water. But for $13 I feel like it could've been a lot better. A friend got the morning blend smoothie bowl ($16.50) and an iced London Fog (6) but also didn't like any of it in the end. Describing the London fog as the worst one in her entire life, and only ate the bananas on top of the smoothie bowl. I think personally it's on me that I didn't get one of their signatures, I am a BIG fan of almost every raspberry white mocha I had, but didn't end up getting them, will go next time! The pastries in the window looked so delicious too, but an almost $30 cafe visit is not in my budget as much as I hope it was. I love that they're so accommodating for different restrictions and life goals though, I have multiple friends who don't take seed oils, different milks, vegans, or gluten free and they have an option for literally everyone. I'm so glad they're here!

Love the atmosphere but cleanliness is critical and my mug was so gross that even the server agreed she would never drink out of it. Stuff happens but you want to eat/drink in a place where this would not go unnoticed. Menu is pretty good and so is the service.

Order at the counter, then they'll bring it to your table, all done with a smile and great service. Tables are inside and outside. I got the cinnamon chai dirty and it was fine but still a little too sweet. We also got a cappuccino which was wonderful. The almond croissant was also wonderful, the cinnamon roll not so much. It's a bit dry. More more more!

I was passing through Thousand Oaks running errands and was wanting a good latte, so I stopped here. I got the Maple Leaf Latte! It was really good, and not too sweet but fairly expensive. The guys working were really nice and cheerful. The coffee bar itself is pretty chill and there are lots of tables. There were several people working on laptops, enjoying coffee. Very spacious!

Nice spot that's been around a while now and is a great local coffee shop! I got a lavender iced coffee which tasted great, and a ham and cheese croissant which actually was not my favorite. Nice people, good service, and nice indoor or outdoor seating options!

Some of the best coffee in TO if not the best. High quality roasts. Good people, and decent atmosphere, albeit a little crowded at times.

Makenna Coffee is seriously such a hidden gem!…read more I first discovered this place completely by accident a while back when one of my girlfriends and I were on our way to go camping. We were craving coffee, searched for the closest coffee shop, and happened to stumble across Makenna Coffee. I remember absolutely falling in love with their coffee and thinking, "I cannot wait until we come back this way so I can get this again!" Unfortunately, I never ended up making it back... until today! We happened to be in the area for an appointment at the Jeep dealership, and when I realized Makenna Coffee was nearby, there was NO WAY I was leaving without stopping. This was only my second time here, and somehow it was just as good as I remembered. Taylor helped me and she was such a sweetheart! I couldn't remember what I had ordered the first time, so she helped me pick out two different drinks to try -- the Sandy Blonde and the Maui Latte. I ordered them half sweet, and they were still a little sweeter than I normally prefer, but honestly, they were amazing nonetheless. I'm usually a black coffee/Americano kind of girl, but every once in a while I get a serious sweet tooth and want something fun and indulgent -- and Makenna Coffee is PERFECT for that. Their coffee is so good, and there's just something about this little spot that I've loved ever since I accidentally discovered it. I only wish I lived closer because I would definitely be here way more often. If you're ever in this area, do yourself a favor and stop at Makenna Coffee. It's one of those little gems you're so happy you found.

I found this spot online and headed over and Im glad I did. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the owners, husband and wife team who immediately made me feel welcome. They were eager to walk me through the menu, offered great suggestions, and were incredibly patient while my brain was still waking up at 9am lol. Their kindness and humor made me feel right at home. This place also feels homey. If you take a moment to look around, you'll notice the personal touches such as the artwork, photos, and thoughtful details that tell a story of their family. Okay Now to get to the good stuff the drinks and bites are stellar, here's what I got: I finally found a seriously addicting chai here in the 805. I'm very picky about chai, so when Robin insisted "you're trying this" so I listened and I'm so glad I did haha. Freshly brewed, no artificial flavors, perfectly spiced. I think I would dub this one of the BEST chai's I've ever had. 10/10. Their classic breakfast bites hit the spot too. I had a breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and a fresh egg. Simple but good. I'd get this again but also would be open to trying some of their other bites. 8/10. The handmade bakery section here was unreal. The apple pastry I ordered was pure nostalgia and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of their daily baked goods. The selection was huge and lots of different options to try. I think their passionfruit pastry will be calling my name next time. Lastly I leave you with a Fun fact: if you're a football fan or into chess, this is your cafe. Chess tables are available for playing at and it's the perfect morning spot to catch matches over coffee and pastries. Liverpool fans especially welcome here ;) Sorry it took me so long to find this spot but they've got a new fan now!

If you like freshly baked pastries from a boutique local friendly bakery then Le Herisson is the place to go to. Bravissima, I just can't say enough other than let your taste buds tell you.

Besides amazing coffee drinks, they offer so much more, and are always changing menu items based on the seasons. For instance they have a summer menu that includes a frozen espresso drink, frozen matcha drinks, and an affogato drink! Yum!! The pastry chefs are also amazing, and the dessert creations are not only beautiful to look at, they also taste great with clean ingredients. They have the best chocolate chip gluten free cookie around!! They also have a delicious breakfast burrito!! And if you love gelato, they have that too! Amazing flavors and taste!! The location makes it easy to grab coffee and breakfast without having to go far, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The pastries were surprisingly amazing and definitely a highlight. I also ordered a latte, which was smooth, creamy, and well made. The only downside is the pricing, as items are noticeably more expensive compared to most local coffee shops. That said, the quality and convenience make it a solid choice, particularly for hotel guests.
