They charged us only one time the diagnostic charge to figure out what was wrong with our Samsung refrigerator. They came back three times for parts to try to get it to temperature inside the refrigerator even though the freezer was fine and they only charge for the part. Extremely professional came when they said they would, called ahead of time to say how far out they were and we're way out between Rogers and Eureka Springs on Highway 12. No mileage charge no additional fees just the parts charge. I believe our 11-year-old fridge was shot so we went ahead and bought a new one but extremely impressed and will use them and only them forever more. read more

Multiple companies advised me to be cautious with A-Tech, including my warranty provider, and I should've listened. Had to go to them as they were an authorized repair service under my extended warranty on our refrigerator. Called on a Monday, requested a early Friday morning appt. After two convo's with their office, was informed it was booked. Mid-week received a notice an earlier appt opened up. Called back, can't do, already rearranged my schedule for Fri, as requested that Monday. Was told I'd receive a "Robo" call the day before, never happened. Called 1st thing Fri to confirm our appt since a technician hadn't shown up. Office said "did you not receive a Robo call?" Nope, I did not. Can you tell me what time the technician is coming, I requested an AM appointment. Yes, your technician is coming between 11-2pm. That's not an AM appt., unless they show before noon, right? Wouldn't be a big deal, unfortunately, I'd ask and received confirmation from two of the three individuals I spoke to, and both confirmed that I was still scheduled from 8-10am. The point is simple, when you rearrange your entire week for a confirmed appt from 8-10, then you're informed the day of the appt that your tech "should arrive 11-2pm", without a call from their office (I had to call and follow up), it's extremely frustrating. When I told the office I couldn't do 11-2, the person on the phone began to get rude and said "that's our AM appointment slot." They then closed my claim, didn't tell me, and when I called my Warranty provider to share what was going on, even the provider apologized and mentioned they'd received several complaints, apologized, and recommended I call another repair company and to submit my bill & they would reimburse me as a result of the poor service from A-Tech. I called Mr. Appliance & was extremely impressed with their office and process. Just like they said, I received a text the day before my appointment, with a picture and introduction of the technician confirming my 8-10AM appointment. I then received another text & phone call, from Mr. Appliance the morning of, informing me the technician was on his way. The technician arrived at 8AM, as planned. He was extremely professional, used his own door mat on our porch (so not to dirty ours), and was done by 9ish. Extremely polite, clean, knowledgeable, and efficient. My recommendation, don't waste your time with A-Tech,. Call Mr. Appliance. You won't be disappointed! I learned the hard way. Hopefully, this will save you the frustration. read more

We purchased an appliance from them, and wish we hadn't. The machine does not work, and when we called they sent out a man who had the wrong part. Then someone came back, changed a part, but the problem was still happening. There was a follow-up call where they claim the Whirlpool people told them it was our installation. We spoke to a plumber and a tech person from a different appliance dealer. Both said there was no problem with our installation. Even though they OFFER a refund, they will not replace or refund the money. They leave long-winded replies to anyone who leaves a negative review, always blaming the purchaser. I not only do not recommend them, I've made sure to tell everyone in my social media circle that they cannot expect this company to deal with them honorably. RESPONSE: Yes, it was looked at in person, at our house, by a technician. He said that the installation was fine and agreed that it not working with cold water confirms that it's the machine. You can stand by your response; I will stand by ours. The machine is bad, and an honorable business would have allowed us to return it and replace it with one that works. read more

I'm so glad I found this place to fix a Samsung dryer,I was ready to go buy a new dryer but decided to try this place out. Boy am I glad I did!!!! I took my dryer to them which was a pain but it worked out for me.Turned out it was fixable and cheaper,it was 50 bucks to diagnose the problem only 140 bucks to fix it. Had a Maytag dryer that was making a squeaky noise when running. Played them audio of the problem when they got here and they immediately diagnosed. They installed a $56 part and charged me $231 for less than an hour of labor. Unconscionable business practice to have your dryer completely disassembled and then they hit you with a $316 bill to fix a minor issue, especially when I was quoted around $100 for the service call. read more

Samsung recommended this certified company. When I called them, she stated that the service call would be $119 plus tax because the dryer was no longer under warranty. The tech was well over an hour late, stayed less than 20 minutes, did fix the problem without using any parts (switched the door from one side to the other), charged us $265, no receipt or invoice. When I called the next day for clarification, she stated it was $119 for the analysis (which we described initially) and "the rest" was for labor! I had to ask for an invoice and it just had the amount-no description of work. I would not recommend them because they chose to overcharge us. If they decide to do the right thing and charge us for the amount quoted, I will be happy to amend my review. read more

Not recommended. What an epic fail. The company was sent to us by Lowe's and was unable to diagnose a major leak in a brand new Whirlpool fridge. The second time they think the got it right, but confusion erupted when they tried to charge us for coming out the third time at the 3pm-5pm slot. Lowe's ended up threatening them about the charge and we were forced to use a different company to fix it. This was due to their "liability" with Lowe's. I spoke to the owner of the company by phone and wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know. The one star is for the technician that came out. To be completely truthful, I have used A-Tech for a few repairs over the years for my rental property and had always been fairly pleased with their service. However, my most recent experience with A-Tech will be my last. The garbage disposal at my rental house went out not long ago. We called A-Tech, gave them the model number, explained that the motor was shot and that we wanted them to come and replace it. They said they would send the new disposal with the technician to our service call. The Tech arrived for our appointment, looked at the disposal, told us the motor was blown, and that it needed to be replaced. We gave permission for them to go ahead and replace the disposal. At this point, the technician informed us that he did not have the disposal with him. I was slightly irritated, but was ready to make another appointment to get it fixed. I asked for a quote on how much the total cost would be and he quoted like $350! I was confused, as this type of disposal costs about $100 at Lowe's and he informed me that there was a service call fee from that visit included in the cost. I told him that was outrageous and no longer wanted the repair done. So, A-Tech sends me a bill for nearly $100. For a service call that lasted less than 15 minutes where the technician told us something we already knew about our disposal being broken. Today, I called to talk to A-Tech about what was, in my opinion, an ASININE charge. Ultimately I was told that the "best they could do for me" was a discounted service fee of $79.99 + tax. I could not (and still cannot) believe that they were unwilling to be more reasonable, considering the (lack of) work done and the fact that they messed up by not bringing the disposal in the first place. I also was a little shocked that they would charge $350 to replace a $100 disposal- a job that takes less than an hour. That is a pretty incredible rate! I will not be using A-Tech again. I would definitely encourage you to get the help you need elsewhere. read more

I initially called this company to come repair our oven and washing machine. I had told them when I would be available (day and time) to meet them to have them repair the appliances. The day before I got a call that indicated they would be here mid to late morning. Not what I requested or they confirmed when I first called. I called to ask them to correct their time - no can do - our repairs are done on a geographical location and this is when we will be in your area. No... Have a fairly new Maytag Front Load Washer that had decided to just hum, while keeping the door locked and no way to turn off the machine. We had purchased an extended warranty so called Home Depot for repairs. They turned us over to A- Tech Appliance for service. So we talked to the scheduler and she indicated that it would be the next day before they could make the repair call. A- Tech Appliance called about two hours latter and asked in they could come the day that I called, but late in the afternoon. Of course I said "yes". That afternoon about 1:15pm got a call from the service guys, "can we come early?" Ronnie, and Brandon, arrived and diagnosed the problem and made the repair. First, tech missed appointment timeframe. I made the mistake of paying for service and part to fix freezer with agreement that they'd come back in four days to replace part. They never called to confirm appointment, so I called to confirm appointment time. They had scheduled it in the morning when I said I'd only be available in the afternoon. The lady said, "Let me see what I can do and call you back." I never received a call back, so I called again the next day. They stated they'd be there between 2-5:00 pm. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY ALL AROUND!!! From their office people to their service tech(so called service tech). Not enough space here to go in detail. First, the service tech comes dressed in a nasty sweat shirt and jeans coughing up a storm. Didn't even have a uniform or badge to indicate he's with A-Tech. Had to look outside to see the company logo on his van to make sure he was their service tech. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! He was so sick that me and my family are all sick because of this guy and are still sick being over a week now. Sick workers shouldn't be sent to customers homes in risk of getting them sick. This service guy was just rude and had a bad attitude. Plus, he had no information of the issues. I had to explain everything all over again to him. After explain all this to him he asked about when I purchased it to see if it was under warranty which his company should already know that I have a new warranty on this washing machine effective on 2/2018 and good till 2/2019. Another thing this guy and company had no clue about. ABSOLUTELY FRUSTRATING ! He acted like he didn't want to diagnose the issues. All he did was tell me how to load the washer and follow the user manual. WHAT A JOKE! I know how to load and wash clothes(I told him I have read the user manual) and the issues have nothing to do with that but a defect in the washer and a broken top structure of the washing machine which obviously needed repair. Then all he did after was run a spin cycle. That's it. Nothing else. He didn't open up the washing machine, pull it out, check anything else out but just a spin cycle. WHAT A SCAM BUSINESS! He was here for about 30 mins. Time working (correction...looking at it spin...JOKE) on the washing machine was about 5 mins which is a spin cycle and the remaining 25 mins telling me how to load and wash clothes plus other blah blah about how these types of washing machines suck. I already know that these suck and that's why he is here to fix it. That's it. Informs me that the parts could take a few days to a couple of weeks to get. That's not it. Then a week passes and no word from this company so I called to get a update. They said the parts were never ordered and that I need to send them some information about my warranty being extended and a receipt of when I purchased the washing machine. Mind you that they haven't attempted to contact me at all and nothing was being done regarding my repair. I wouldn't have known about this if I didn't call them. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! While talking with the office people a A-Tech they were absolutely rude and obnoxious. Who has a receipt from over 4 years ago (Note: isn't needed anyway because the recall gives you a brand new 1 year warranty from the date that the recall repair was done) and the manufacture doesn't send any extended warranty paperwork for recalls. I stated that the manufacture sent them all this info like the current active warranty, issues that the washing machine has and my information. Obviously, they should have this and know that it's under warranty because I sure didn't contact them to schedule the repair. DUH!!! How would they know how to contact me??? Right! Now going back and forth about 3 times each making calls to the manufacture and A-Tech trying to see where the mix up was at. Well, every time I contacted the manufacture they were as helpful as can be. Totally Awesome! They verified with me every time I called them and it was with a different representatives that the warranty is active and good until 2/2019 and to have A-Tech call them to have that verified which I did. I contacted A-Tech and told them the manufacture asked for you to call them to get this cleared up. I waited about an hour for them to call the manufacture. I contacted A-Tech to make sure that it was all cleared and, of course, not to my surprise they still say that they need this information that I don't have and I don't need to have. I had the actual manufacture tell them this and they still are lost. So, I called the manufacture's rep and had them call A-Tech while I was on the phone on hold for them to finally get this all cleared up. So you would think...right? That rep said that she spoke with them and informed them of the active warranty and told me that everything is ok now. I was a little relieved but skeptical with A-Tech so I called A-Tech after I hung up with the rep from the manufacture and guess what. I asked to speak with the person that the manufacture spoke with and still the same issues. They're stating that I might be responsible for the service visit and any other charges if I proceed with the repair. As of today, this is still an issue. CRAZY..Right! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! YOU ARE BETTER OFF BUYING A BRAND NEW MACHINE! NOT WORTH THE TIME AND AGGRAVATION! TRUST ME! read more
