He was done in about 30 minutes and charged $250 labor for a bill totaling $360. I had to track down the itemized invoice to find the cost breakdown and when I called to complain,I was told that was the set labor charge that Mr Appliance internally charges across all its businesses for this repair. In short, management response to me: firm and, in my opinion, unfair. We are taking our business elsewhere and recommend you do likewise.

She said the tech will message you when they are on the way.... Nope he said that was there job. Super nice guy he also said they were running into issues. They don't accept cards only check.... Ok wrote the second check now it's January and February and they are stating that the lost the check or it may have cashed might not have but they can't track it........ We had a concern with our dryer that could easily have been turned into a hundreds-of-dollar issue. He disassembled our dryer and found that the problem was pretty mundane. He easily fixed it and reassembled the dryer. He then explained what might have led to the issue and told us how to keep it from happening again. His price? Only his time, which was very fair. This company charged $100 to come and tell me that my dryer settings were the cause of my dryer…read moreshutting off. The owner told my husband that he "knew last night" when discussing it in the phone that's all it was-- and he didn't bother to tell us! He also went on to say that much of his business is elderly people who do not understand the settings of their new appliances, and he charges them to come out and "push a few buttons." He refused to lower that amount to the $85 for a regular service call, citing my home owner's warranty as the reason for charging $100. However, when I called the home warranty company I was explicitly told that the service provider could charge less if he chose to, that he was not in fact required to charge the full $100. When I called back to ask the owner to reconsider, he told me "that's just the way it is, Honey" and stated that he "had to feed his family too." I seriously doubt he "needed" that extra $15 to "feed his family." This issue could have been resolved with a $15 refund and a 30 second phone call. Beware of this crooked company!
