He said they would make to match perfectly- white Quaker style. Measurements all off (smaller). The worker said they would be putting wood paneling to make up difference! Why would I want less cupboard space?? Then I overheard the worker tell other one in Spanish that he got home late night before cuz he was at Chino warehouse buying my ready-made cabinets!! What a rip-off. Fired Stan that day, had him take back his cabinets, and refund me for flooring. Got back just under $5,000 so he made $8,000 off me just to remove the fluorescent ceiling in kitchen. They left all trash in my backyard. Didn't cover anything while working so entire house was covered in dust for years. This happened about 4-5 yrs ago but I guess I was too angry to want to think or write about it until now. Stan used his Christianity to relate to me and convince me to hire him. This man is despicable.

They complemented each other really well in terms of the specifics of the design, what everything would look like, and what needed to be done. They gave us an accurate timeline of 3-4 weeks. Let me tell you, they were basically working the entire time (even on a Saturday)! Jesus was very responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the process. I would highly recommend not taking a passive role during the renovation/remodel and actually being there. Since their team is big, there are details that the crew might need to ask about or that you need to bring up a few times. Everyone who worked on the house was friendly and receptive to our questions and preferences. After the project was completed, both Justin and Jesus let us know that they were just a phone call away if we needed anything or had any issues. Overall, I am just in love with the end product! I explained my project and he told me he would make time to arrive for a same-day quote at 6pm. Already off to a good start. I had been getting other quotes from other contractors around that time, and things were either taking too long, costing too much, or something just didnt seem right. With Francisco, he was incredibly personable, patient, understanding, timely, i could go on. For the first phase, during demo, he made sure to have several high powered vacuums, took care of any existing items to where there was no apparent damage. He is very efficient but wont rush a job and if something needs clarification he was patient enough to confirm our selections before proceeding. Some examples of this include schluter choice, baseboard profiling in certain areas, fireplace design, and more. We met him in march and he pretty much completed the kitchen, fireplace, hallway bathroom, floors, and other small projects in a matter of one month. He should be very proud of his work and we are hoping to work with him in the future. Pricing: very fair. I wont give details but i had 4 quotes in total. His pricing was the absolute best hands down. One quote i got had charged me 3x what Francisco did. To confirm, I entered all the project information into chatGPT and the number it predicted was very close to what several other contractors had quoted me. The AI verdict for JG & Sons pricing was a "Good Deal." Work: The main team members are Francisco and his son. How great is it to have a hands-on contractor? Once in a while there will be a variable 3rd-4th member depending on amount of work that day (demo, floors) They show up every day consistently at the same time. Safety is clearly important to them as i would often see them with eye protection, masks, knee pads, etc. Communication was excellent. Design: my wife had a particular design in mind for each project, whether it was the tile trim surrounding a smaller design that stood out in the kitchen backsplash, or the mantle with all the small brick tiles, all with much inspiration from online sources. Francisco made my wife feel heard with her design, offered some insight on realistic approaches and took these design projects on; which were done better than we had imagined.
