Do not rent here. I was with them for six years only because I moved out of my apartment and needed somewhere to store everything because that's what it's for and when I went to go get it out. I had to pay to have everything thrown away. My couch ,my kids beds ,all my kitchen stuff all covered in rat poop and pee and they made a nest in the couch I lost a lot of my kids baby pictures they chewed my kids scrap books I thought when u put ur stuff in storage it's suppose to be safe and now they wanna charge me another 500 all they want is money they don't care about your stuff read more

Went in window shopping for a storage unit, Nora was amazing, she was able to assist me in what units were available, broke down the pricing which was a big one for me, she was very helpful as well with the elevator, at first it wasn't responding, then she was able to trouble shoot the issue and was able to fix it for me. To me this review is a 5 star. But had to take a star off because you get what you pay for! Storage unit itself is great, but the building needs a remodel. Walls, lighting, floors just needs a whole deep clean and paint job. Hopefully the owner can consider refurbishing this storage unit. read more

Nora was fantastic, we came to look for a large storage and she right away showed us two large storages she had available. She was kind enough to also show us which one benefited us more. Since it's just me and my mom who's gonna be moving things she gave us a card to hire people to help us move all the heavy stuff. I didn't even know that was a thing anyways the process to rent was also super easy and quick we were out of there in 10 min all together! I have been using the storage for about 6 months now. No issues whatsoever. The lady at the front desk is always really cool and helpful. When I initially rented she helped me choose a storage that was the appropriate size for my needs and came with a discounted price, which I really appreciated. I sometimes am too busy to get the payment in on time and she has always been diligent in reaching out to notify me. Overall no complaints and a pleasant experience. The customer service here leaves much to be desired. I give it 2 stars because I like the location and my unit is near a power source. However, I've had a unit here for a few years, ever since they switched to Storage Pro it has been nothing but problems. They continually raise the rates since take over last year, 3 raises so far. One raise last month while we are in a pandemic. Their online payment system has not worked for the last 8 months and I have to leave my job and go to their office to pay them. Each time I go in they say it will get fixed but never does. They won't take a check and honestly do not trust they will charge appropriately if I kept a card on file. I have to call several times to get info as they do not answer & rarely return calls. My synopsis, I'd look around and compare facilities before landing here. There has to be better. Was cleaning out my storage today. I made two trips. The first trip, no problem. When I returned for the second trip, workers had repaired the parking lot with hot asphalt. There was no signage, warning, and the area wasn't taped off. My tires are ruined, and the guy at the front desk could care less. He was flippant, rude, and lacked empathy. His lack of customer service makes it a sure thing that I will not be back, or recommend this storage facility to anyone. I even let the office know in advance that I would be moving my stuff out, and there was no mention during the call that the asphalt was being redone. read more

Can I award them a non star review? They (owners & "on-site" managers) have made many claims, which are false. I had to sue them because of these claims. They caused a theft of all my personal belongings and a year later have still failed to notify their customers of the robbery. I sued and the law agreed with me. read more

Back before the company was sold I had the best experience ever. Now I haven't had 3 months go by where the current owners have screwed with my monthly price. I have a 10x10 I used to pay 165 for. The first month when they bought it the price went to 205 after they deliberately told me the price would stay the same. Then I complained and they put the price back. 3 months later my bill is 185. This is turning into more of a hassle than I want. I will be looking for a new storage facility. read more

This was my first interaction when moving to California from Oklahoma. I called in advanced because I was going to show up on Labor Day, when the office would be closed. I was assured that my unit would be unlocked and I would all set to move in my furniture from the uhaul with no issues. I paid for my first month of rent and began to head that way. On that Monday, I arrived, tired from a three day cross country trip, to find that my storage unit had a lock on the door. Confused, I walked back to the office, hoping there would be an emergency number to call or something to get into contact with someone. There was only a note saying they office was going to be closed. I called their management company, and once again, no answer (I do acknowledge it was a holiday, but after being reassured there would be no issues, I was pretty pissed). Luckily I was able to store my stuff for free somewhere else and they were very polite about issuing a refund which is why I give the 2 stars instead of 1. I still HIGHLY suggest they invest in some combination locks, that way, if someone needs to get in, they can text or email them the locker combination. read more

I had the pleasure (read: torture) of emptying out my boss' two 15 X 10 units that had been here since 2016. I found the property well kept, clean and the office staff extremely helpful. Linda, the office manager was kind and knowledgeable and I appreciated the fact that they sold locks (and packing materials) on the premises as well as a stocked candy dish (with the good candy). I would definitely recommend this facility as its safe, well maintained and the staff helpful and professional. I vacated the premise, and under advisement from an employee, my credit card was removed from their system and I was moved out -- employee never gave receipt of vacation, even after multiple attempts to receive one, I was assured I did not need one. I was then charged for the next 6 months without my knowledge because of an employee who has since been fired. A-Z would not help me resolve the issue or give any credit knowing full well they fired that employee because of errors like this. This merchant is dishonest and I highly do not recommend them. These are good ole mom and pop people who treat me like the person I am. When I'm in a hurry they hurry. When I have questions they give me answers. When I'm leaving past closing on a Sunday they wave. We researched prices all over Simi, T.O. and Moorepark. A to Z beat em all. Always clean, very helpful, not grumpy AT ALL when we're late paying (of course theres a FEE) but their attitude is Ehh times are tuff all around. These guys were great. It is as someone else said a mom and pop place. Wanted to pick up a uhaul at 7:00 AM and they don't open till 9:00 AM. They came in just to satisfy my needs. I even got a storage unit from them. Price was cheaper than their competitor and no rent raise like the other place. Well at least for the first year. The place is clean and well lit up. My experience with this dealer was awful! The customer service by the Manager "Bob Cheney" was horrible! Just becaused I had parked the tow dolley I rented on a parking space and then was told to hook it back up to my truck and then parked my truck in front of the entrance gate I was told to leave that "He didn't want to do business with me" he told me to go somewhere else! This made my day a really bad one specially because I had to drive all the way to Simi Valley which made me late for work and wasted my time! I called the the costumer service hotline and they got ahold of him and he told them that I was swearing lol. That was just to cover his own butt. Now I know why he didn't want my business. I came to find out by another dealer that he wasn't going to make any profit on my business because it was just a drop off matter. Anyways when I asked this guy who was in charge of him he said no one and gave me his card because he was the owner! It's funny because I filed a complain and will be receiving a call from the District manager. Little did BOB know that when you own a franchise there is always someone above you! Stay away from this place after renting a uhall truck I returned the vehicle with the same amount of gas so I would not be charged. They charged me anyways and told me it was not at the same level.
