My move was yesterday 6-29-26. What began as a routine move with my boxes already packed dissolved into astonishment @ the culmination. The 2 movers assigned to me were Very angry when the person in the supervision role suggested a tip along with the percentage expected. This was a split destination - 5 miles to storage in 1 direction and 6 miles to a residence in another. They were very methodical, were careful with furniture. They wrapped as tho we were expecting a hurricane which is fine but it was done sooooo slowly. A 5 mile drive to storage took them 25 minutes while I waited for them. They were not in a hurry @ all. I had plants to go, large pots. The supervisor complained that all of that created stress on their bodies. But it's what they sign on to do! I did well to pay for the move & couldn't include a tip . They began so professional then turned on a dime and became just furious. One said " We broke our backs for you today!" And kept saying it over and over I called RC afterward. I hope these 2 don't represent the whole of the company. read more

Well unfortunately I came back to them for the fifth time and this time was a disaster we are still in dispute for a week and a half I'm waiting for an answer with no result the movers came for 700 ft one bedroom the same bedroom that they moved last year took 3 hours this year took 6 hours nothing has changed in the amount of the stuff in the apartment on top of it the movers broke the light in the walkway and broke the leg of the sofa I've been trying to resolve this issue with them to no result they overcharged me 3 hours they damaged the light and my sofa is still sitting in the parking lot after 2 weeks I will gladly like to get some help even illegal advice to resolve this issue I sent them pictures and nothing yet I keep getting phone calls just to say hold on or someone will call you back I will add some pictures to show what is the situation On top of it I had to pay $300 for an electrician to come and fix the light because he was Sunday he was an urgent call the management asked me to fix it ASAP so I had to call on Sunday still no issue resolved read more

Kevin and his team Iven, Sergei and the polite pink haired guy :)(sorry I can't remember the name) were the most professional, reliable, careful, accommodating movers I've had. Kevin is brilliant in how he packs up the truck to maximize its occupancy. One day, one truck and one trip he moved our 4 bedroom house. Unloading was fast and efficient, taking in furniture that wouldn't fit in the doorways, he figured out other non-conventional ways to get it in without scratching the door frame, staircase or walls. The final payment was not very far from the initial estimate Sarah had given on the phone. I was shopping around for prices and I like how she would politely text and leave me messages to remind me they were still interested in my business. I highly recommend RC moving. I've done multiple moves in my life. At least 3 cross-country moves and multiple in town moves on the East Coast and the West Coast. For this move, I called at least 6 different moving companies, and in the end I found RC Moving to be most responsive, transparent, and most reasonably priced. The coordinator Stacy was very helpful and informative without being "on sales mode." Movers Kevin and Jenya were like lightning fast and professional. They also moved my 185 pound Bowflex home gym without having to take it down and putting it backup. And they had extra supplies for all the random items I had that are difficult to pack like a banjo. Oh boy, I am late in writing this review. But you know how it goes when you move - life is crazy. Call these guys to make it less crazy - they are amazing. They moved us from Simi Valley to La Quinta and to say they went the extra mile (pun intended) would be an extreme understatement. I have never known any movers that have worked harder, been more organized, had a better attitude or were more trustworthy than RC Movers - and I have moved A LOT! Overcharged. I struggled with how many stars I would give RC Moving. After the first 2 times I used them I would have given them 5 stars. But the third time was not good. We moved out of a 2-bedroom home into another home, 9 miles away. When booking the appointment, I gave a list of furniture to be moved including garage and patio. I also said we have a large safe and was told if it weighs more than 300 pounds (if I recall correctly) there would be an extra $100 charge. RC Moving sent out 3 men and a truck. It took them ELEVEN hours for the move. They made two trips. One of the three men spent most of his time on his cell phone. Another one of the movers was apparently new, because he was always deferring to one of the others and, therefore, moving very slowly. They wrapped furniture, as expected, but oh my god, they spent so much time on each piece and wrapped it as if I was moving around the world and through a hurricane. This added a lot of extra time. They should not have had to make two trips. They packed the truck lightly. Plus, after looking through the house before they started, they should have known if the truck wasn't big enough. So - eleven hours and 3 men to move a 2 bedroom home 9 miles. I emailed the company and expressed my dissatisfaction. I received a call from them that evening and it went to voice mail. I called back the next day during office hours and was told someone would get back to me. They never did. On top of all that, they charged us the extra $100 for the safe that probably didn't weigh more than 200 pounds. It went straight from their truck to the garage a few feet away. Over $2400 for this move is ridiculous. read more

I'd probably give these guys three and a half stars, but there is no option to do so, therefore I'm " rounding down". The pros were that the three guys they sent hustled, worked hard, and wrapped everything up really well, and the total cost was reasonable. Therefore, I wouldn't have a problem recommending them in general. However, if you are into the details, look elsewhere. My wife and bought our bed five years ago, and they built it in our bedroom. We never moved it, or had sword fights in our bedroom, so there is no way that gash in the footboard in the picture was there before. I think this happened when they were removing it installing the rails. When Victor called to follow up about the move, I told him about it and sent him this picture. He said he was "sincerely sorry" and would "investigate" it, and get back to me " with a solution".... ...and then nothing Guess what, Victor? There is no solution. No, I don't want a new bed, and I get I'm stuck with a scratch. But what I can do is warn people who are detailed orientated to go with another company. Also, I was told they do not install washers and dryers, so if you like "details" like that taken care of, look elsewhere. Finally, they left a giant plastic bag filled with plastic wrap at the side of my house. ( I wish I took a picture now) It was the mattress bag for q California king so it was HUGE. On December 17, 2020 I moved. My move was only one mile away but I had a big house and 20 years worth of stuff. After reading reviews I went with RC movers Victor was very pleasant to communicate and I made the arrangements with him. When the day came to move three gentlemen arrived the Foreman's name was Mehmet, there was Andrei, and Alex. they got to the house on time they were very very professional wrapped all of my furniture didn't waste time because they were on the clock. when we got to the new location I didn't know exactly where to put stuff I had them remove stuff a few times and they were okay with it. We had never used a moving company before and didn't know the whole process of what it entailed. After believing I had reserved with another company and finding out the day of our move that I didn't (didn't know I needed to send in a deposit beforehand, my bad) I was in a conundrum. The stress of moving is one thing, but when you think you have movers and you don't...WHOA! Talk about stress! So I started calling and emailing everyone on YELP! I got to RC Moving and my mind and stress were put to ease. Alice was wonderful and such a breath of fresh air.
