Due to unforeseen circumstances, our move out date and packing dates had to be changed multiple times, but Iliya worked with us patiently to help find us a crew within just a few days that was able to move us out efficiently and conveniently. Carlos and his moving crew were superb and worked quickly, with a positive attitude, and were willing to accommodate a lot of our requests. Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. My wife and I have said several times that we don't know how we would've done it without Mission Movers. I know exactly who I'm hiring for any of my future moves. 10/10 experience! PS: don't forget to tip your movers!!! These guys weren't expecting it and they were so grateful - it only made me wish I had more to give.

I cannot say enough good things about Trek Movers, and in particular, Roman, who was the Foreman and true hero of our move. We entrusted Trek Movers with both our local move and a cross-country trek to Tennessee, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. Right from the outset, the entire Trek team kept us thoroughly informed at every juncture, ensuring that our needs and expectations were perfectly aligned. This was no small feat, given the complexity of our move - a 5-bedroom, 5,000 sq ft home, and two storage units divvied up into two separate moves, scheduled two days apart. The first was a local move from Sherman Oaks to Los Angeles with a competitive Flat Rate cost. The second involved transporting everything else to our second home in Tennessee. The Trek Moving quote came back significantly higher - BUT what we didn't know is that almost every other popular or even highly rated moving company that does long-distance moves, COMBINES deliveries with other homes and or other moving companies, which is why the cost from other companies is significantly less! The more reviews I read for other companies and researched as well with the BBB - the combined deliveries almost always lead to damages, missing items and delays. The thought of all of our personal belongings possibly being offloaded and reloaded again in some other location was worth spending more money to 100% know that with Trek we would have our own dedicated Truck and Foreman who would personally pack, manage, and be at the final destination to deliver our belongings exactly as we last saw them (with no brokers, no combined or shared trucks or any added fees). The Los Angeles local move went perfectly. Upon arriving, Roman, our Foreman introduced himself and his team. Roman was not only the Foreman but a true leader, upholding an expected level of performance amongst his crew. He kept his team driven and motivated with positive reinforcement and encouragement, ensuring that everyone worked together seamlessly. What truly set Roman apart is his exceptional manners and thoughtfulness. Whenever he noticed me or any members of my family trying to move something on our own, he immediately stepped in to lend a hand. It's rare to find such genuine care and assistance in any service industry today. As for the second leg of our journey, the cross-country move from Sherman Oaks to Tennessee, Roman once again orchestrated the process with meticulous care and communication. He left no room for doubt, ensuring we were well-informed about his plans, his expected arrival time, the anticipated loading duration, and the progress of his journey across the United States. In a testament to his dedication and reliability, Roman not only met his estimated arrival time but also pleasantly surprised us by arriving earlier than expected. The confidence instilled by this level of communication, planning, and execution made the entire move far less stressful than we could have ever imagined. All of the Trek movers handled each item with care and respect and made sure that they properly safeguarded all and any delicate items by properly wrapping and protecting them. The slightly higher cost of Trek Movers, which initially caused us to have some level of hesitation in our decision-making process, was immediately justified by the confidence that our possessions would arrive in Tennessee exactly as they left our previous home. Upon delivery, Roman continued to impress us. He meticulously reassembled all our furniture, leaving it in perfect condition. He took the time to ensure that every single box and item was placed exactly where we wanted it, going the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction. Not only did Roman provide exceptional service, but he also left no trace of a mess behind. He cleaned up all the wrapping materials and empty boxes, leaving our new home clutter-free and ready for us to settle in. In today's world, it's rare to come across someone with Roman's work ethic. His honesty, dignity, chivalry, and pride in his work truly set him apart. I am a bit delayed writing this review but Vladimir and his crew did a wonderful job! They thoroughly wrapped all my furniture and took excellent care of everything. They had great communication throughout the move. There was one issue with my coffee table which is a large heavy wood item with metal legs. Because of the way they tilted it the weld on one of the legs cracked. Hey, it's moving so it's highly possible that accidents will happen. However, the way they handled it was outstanding. They kept the leg and got the weld repaired within a couple days and then returned it to me and properly attached it to the table...good as new. That is what stood out for me. The great customer service with how this company handled a mishap. All of my other items arrived at my new location the exact way they left my old location...no other damages, no scratches. It took almost 8.5 hours to move my boxes and furniture (I have a lot of stuff...lol) and they were friendly and efficient the entire time. No hidden charges. They even boxed/wrapped both my TV's and bought multiple wardrobe boxes to accommodate all my hanging clothes. The process to book them was pain free and the price was very competitive. Honestly, I almost got a bit concerned because it was so hassle free compared to the other companies I contacted. I would definitely use them again! Our son was in an emergency situation, and it was necessary for him to move out of his apartment to another apartment in two days. We went online to find a LA moving company. Trek Movers was reviewed on so many sites as the best. They are the best! And their moving rates are so very reasonable. George was so helpful and understanding and began the process for us without any delay. All of the contract paperwork came to us online in a matter of minutes, and we were booked for our move immediately. Sarah from Trek Movers provided emails to us with confirmations and all the details every step of the way, and she too was so kind and understanding of our situation. When the movers, 4 men, arrived two days later and right on time, they were ready to go. Their moving truck is great.... all the characters from Toy Story... "no one gets left behind." They had all the essential moving supplies and began packing. They were professional, smart about how they packed, and as our son said, they were fun too. They all had a great experience together. Our son bought lunch for all of them because it was an 8 hour move.... 5 Guys burgers for 4 guys! If you are moving in the LA area, Trek Movers is the company you want to move you. He was immediately welcoming and began educating me on what they offer and the key questions to ask any competitors I planned to call. After he shared all that information with me, he even continued by assuring me that if I had any other questions after our conversation, he would be happy to answer them. I called around to see if I would receive the same or better helpful information. I asked the same questions - apples for apples. I wanted to ensure I was being fair to myself and Trek Movers in my search for a reputable company, as well as a reasonable price. After a day of doing online research and making calls, it became clear that Trek Movers was the mover for my relocation. Fast forward to moving day. I met Tim and Serge. I recently used Anton and his team's move service to help me relocate my home and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The crew was extremely professional and efficient, and it made the entire process stress-free. I had an amazing experience with Trek Movers, from the very first time they called after I requested a quote. They were flexible in finding a plan that worked for me and my budget, and the communication leading up to the move was great. They always responded quickly to my questions and sent reminders and very detailed info about the move. I had an afternoon 2-7 PM time frame for the move, and Oxana and Eugene showed up at 2:30 (and called half an hour before they arrived). They were unbelievably quick and hard-working. The minute they arrived, they were moving things into the truck, and handled every detail with care and efficiency. They brought all the supplies needed and did a good job protecting my items. I have not found scratches on or issues with any of my items. Most importantly to me, they got the entire (1BR) move done under the three hour minimum and it was reasonably priced -- $140/hour cash on the last Saturday of the month, when other companies were charging much more (plus they had a $20 for $50 Yelp deal!). I've used Trek Movers 3 times and I appreciate their professionalism on the phone and in person. They will always be my movers of choice. Joe helped set up my moves and the staff that moved everything for us was great! Andrey and Sergey were very hard working and professional. I tipped both of the movers because I was very happy with their hard work and they 100% deserved it. They helped me stay as close to possible to the 3 hour minimum by working fast because they knew I was on a budget. I figured if we stay close to budget I can tip better. Wait till you hear how great and honest they are. The movers accidentally forgot to apply my returning client discount, I didn't notice on the spot. Joe was kind enough to email me right away telling me that a $17 check would be mailed back to me. The fact that they are so HONEST is amazing! That $17 was greatly appreciated. It might not seem like much, but the fact that they cared enough to send it back made me very happy! 5 stars all the way!!!! These guys are friendly and polite, and super hard workers. We thought they communicated very well about how they were going to go about things. They were quick and organized and worked well together. Most importantly, they were respectful of our belongings and our home. We didn't do the best packing job before the team arrived. We just have too many things and toys and knick knacks all over the place. The team had great solutions to help us get everything together and onto the truck. We observed that they handled our belongings with such care. We really couldn't have found a better company to help us move! I had the pleasure of working with Joe in the front office which was very informative. He went over the pricing, the available discounts and helped set-up scheduling. We had a very tight last minute schedule which he worked very hard to accommodate. Because of the nature of our move he made sure we had one of their best two man team leading by team leader Max. Max and his partner were very sharp, fast and strong. Both very quickly packaged all items and placed them in the truck with extreme care. Had hired trek movers the first time; and the crew was excellent. They were efficient, enthusiastic, and very friendly. This time the crew was different. They showed up late. At first said the move would take 10 hours, although everything was pre packed and ready to go. When we said no way, they were able to pack up the whole truck within 2 hours. At the storage unit, they packed everything in a bit carelessly. Total move time was 5 hours, half of what they initially tried to quote us... The most uncomfortable part for me was their moving lead pressuring me and making me feel uncomfortable for not giving a big enough tip. The overall vibe of the crew this time was very bitter, not friendly, and it was clear they were looking for making as much money as possible with the least customer service. My girlfriend and I moved from Orange County to Camarillo CA. We moved from an apartment on the fifth floor to a two story home. Alexander and Sergey helped us with this move and they did an incredible job. These two men are extremely hard working individuals and are the best movers I have ever had. The move consisted of several challenges: heavy furniture, long walks down hallway + elevator, and unloading everything from the truck into the house with a tight stairway after a long drive. Alexander and Sergey were extremely friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. All of our furniture was meticulously taken care of. Each object was wrapped individually with Stretch Wrap, moving blankets and tape. There were zero issues with the move and everything went very smoothly. We had to move 300+ miles, which is not fun, but Trek Movers made the process go extremely smoothly. They gave us a reasonable fixed price estimate and could move us on the date requested. Sarah was very helpful with the estimate and all questions. A team of five showed up on time and efficiently took apart and packed our furniture, studio piano and TV with blankets, cardboard. and plastic wrap for protection (we had boxed our own stuff). Our driver/foreman, Andrey, did a fantastic Tetris stacking job fitting everything from our 3-bedroom house into the truck. The next day everything was unloaded and put where we requested, Andrey reassembled the furniture, and the packaging was cleaned up. Nothing was damaged, they were careful with our walls and new hardwood floors, and everyone was pleasant. It was a really a good experience, we highly recommend them! read more

Welp, this is everything you would want from a moving company. Their initial response to my request for a quote was quick and tailored to what I had asked. It wasn't just a copy and paste. I was also attracted to the fact that on their very few negative reviews, someone always tried to make it right. Even the complaints that seemed really dumb. Communication was good leading up to the day. I knew what all the charges were likely to be. On the day, they were safe, knowledgeable, and hard-working. As with all moves there were a few quirks here and there (large furniture, assembly, small doors etc.), but they problem-solved and continued on with the day. No complaints. Trek movers were awesome from start to finish! Super quick quote provided and from my research the pricing is more than fair. They allow you to use their reusable packing supplies at no cost & boxes were 5$ each. For reference for our 1 bed room apartment which we had not packed anything for, we only needed 35$ worth of boxes. Not too shabby. No charge for wrapping supplies- I loved this because other companies will charge you and it adds up quick. Next the movers are awesome, quick and respectful! Our team Andrew and Nadir arrived perfectly on time, packed us up and moved everything into our new apartment. I have nothing but great things to say about them, they hustled and moved the whole time. In short if I had to move again, I would go with Trek and I would request Andrew and Nadir as my movers!! What a fast and efficient moving company. Our move was short in distance (Sherman Oaks to West Los Angeles), but we had a about 50 or 60 heavy boxes with books and a ton of tools and equipment to move, plus the destination was a 3rd floor with no elevator. The last time we moved (N. Hollywood to Sherman Oaks) we hired two guys with a truck and it ended up taking over 15 hours to complete and cost us a ton of money. This time, we hired 4 guys from Trek Movers and the whole thing, from beginning to end, was done in less than 6 hours and cost just a little over half of what it cost before. I highly recommend this company. I also recommend hiring 4 movers from them. Four people can operate as two separate teams and get everything done twice as fast. It costs more per hour but ends up saving money in the end. read more

If there were 10 stars to give, I would! Arthur and his team were absolutely phenomenal in our recent move from the South Bay to the Valley. We packed our boxes ourselves, yet they still took such care with everything - including furniture - as they packed up the truck. We were moving from a 2 bedroom to a 2 bedroom, but we absolutely filled the 24' truck - YIKES. And they had to walk SO. FAR. to our apartment we were moving out of, yet they never once complained and always had smiles on their faces. When we got to the new place, there were a bunch of stairs, and they still took incredible care to make sure nothing was scratched/broken/hurt in any way. I felt bad that it took as long as it did, but Arthur and team were incredibly patient and hardworking. We feel like we have finally found our moving team! read more

Missing my standing lamp and printer now that I've unpacked the unit and some fragile boxes that were labeled fragile had items crushed and broken from being stacked at the bottom. They also didn't really explain how they were going to just throw all of my clothes with the hangers on into trash bags which ripped a lot of my expensive garments when if they explained better I would have paid the $14 for a box to keep my clothes intact. I literally had to go back to my ex boyfriend's fraternity room to pick up that printer and standing lamp and I want them back. I literally walked in on him with someone else and still went back to go get my stuff. I tipped incredibly well and it was really expensive for less than two hours of moving and incredibly unhappy now Who knows what else will be missing now read more

The reason I am giving them five now is because I just used a different local moving company to pack my apartment and load a truck I rented, and I was highly dissatisfied with the service. I won't name this business, but the work did not reflect the cost and I wouldn't recommend that business to anyone. Comparing it to my experience with Stear, I knew I had to sit down and write the review. In July of 2021 I hired two workers to pack my 1 bedroom apartment, load their own truck, unload the truck at my new apartment, AND they drove the truck over to the nearby Goodwill so I could drop off four pieces of large furniture that I was donating for no extra charge. It took a total of 6 hours (my new apartment was only a few streets from my old one), and cost $800 pre-tip. One of the guys definitely worked his ass off the entire time, but I saw the other guy on his phone many times and slowly packing items. My roommate said she saw him chilling downstairs over to the side, and when he saw her he pretended to be working. That was the reason I was going to knock them down a star. But again, comparing the amount of work they got done in the time they did, and at the price they did it, to that of the company I just used, I am locking in at five stars. On top of that, all items were wrapped well enough that nothing was broken in the move, nor was I worried about it. They also knew obvious things like "wrap glass in wrapping paper before packing" and "don't pack living plants in boxes". That is in stark contrast to my recent experience. Here's a breakdown so you can get an idea of the competition: Stear (2021): -hired to pack 1 bedroom apartment and move items to new apartment (0.3 miles away) -I had more items in this move -they drove to a second location so I could drop off some furniture to be donated -all boxes and wrapping materials included in rate -2 men -I hardly did any work -$800 total -6 hours total Company #2 (2022): -hired to pack 1 bedroom apartment and load truck I rented -I didn't have items to donate and I had less items in this move -my dad and I were helping by packing and organizing the entire time -charged per box, wrapping materials "included" but they didn't have wrapping paper for fragile items (they used mine from my last move) -3 men (plus my dad and me) -they only had to pack and load a truck, didn't have to drive it anywhere -$700 total (was going to give me a "discount" at $760, I was like no) -4 hours 50 minutes total

I also spoke directly with CSI and was told the claim was closed at your company's direction--not due to any lack of response from me. The floor damage was hidden by boxes your movers placed throughout the area. Once the boxes were removed, the scratches were visible and I notified you within two days. That is reasonable notice. The $0.60/lb valuation is irrelevant here. This is not about damaged household goods--it's about property damage caused by your employees. Scratching new granite flooring with dollies is negligence, and that liability rests with your company, not the customer. Very disappointing handling of a clear issue.
