We have used Vic's Air Conditioning since we purchased our new home 8 years ago. VIc's did all the AC installations in the new development. We had them do our semi annual preventive maintenance service. A few days ago our garage mini split unit started blowing hot air. I called Vic's and they immediately told me that since they did not do the install they probably could not provide the service. But, they would be happy to sell and install a new Mitsubishi unit, without even assessing the current problem. Since I had Priority One service my tankless water heater a few years ago and found them to provide excellent service, I called to ask if they could come out and evaluate my issue. I got a service call appointment the next day. The office kept me reminded of the appointment and informed of the time when the technician would show up. The technician, Dave, was awesome. He quickly learned that the unit suffered from a "User Interface Error". My words, not his. He had the unit operating again within 5 minutes of arrival. We have switched our routine maintenance contract from Vic's to Priority One. They are the best. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I don't like leaving negative reviews and as a former business owner, I always strive to resolve things with the business before taking to the internet. This is a lost cause. We called over a week in advance for an inspection on a house we are closing on, already in escrow. I let the person booking know that we needed a sewer inspection and that contingencies were being removed so it was crucial that we get the inspection as promised. I was told we would get an estimate for services in advance. Despite calling back three times prior to the inspection, I never got an estimate. It was too late to find a new service. On the day, we were able to get a price, which seemed fair. Our window was 12p-2p. Alan, the tech, showed up at 2:30 and only when it was time to do the video inspection of the sewer did they discover that the battery for the video unit was not charged. They dispatched another battery, but our realtor had to leave by 3:15, and there was just not enough time. How do you show up to do a video inspection and not have a charged battery, not have a backup, and not KNOW in advance your battery is dead? OK, not great. Alan promised us he would return at 10:30 the next morning. I explained to him that this meant we'd have to book another night at the hotel, and incur expenses for the dogs, food etc. All in all, it cost us an additional $350 because of their failure to bring a charged battery, Not happy. My jaw hit the floor when Alan informed us that there'd likely be an additional charge to come back the next day which was a Saturday, but then quickly backtracked, saying it wasn't his call. We spoke to someone on the phone who assured us that since the error was theirs, they wouldn't uncharge us for having to come back the next day. Well, thank you SO MUCH. Needless to say, the next day, after having incurred a $350 hotel stay, plus dining, toiletries, etc. NO ONE SHOWED. The realtor was with us, having left her family for the appointment. After 40 minutes of trying to figure out where the hell Alan was, we were told that unless we paid the additional $150 - again DUE TO THEIR MISTAKE WHICH ALREADY COST US AN ADDITIONAL DAY AND $350 - no one would show. And they didn't!! UNREAL. The guy we spoke to on the phone was cold, displayed no remorse or empathy, It felt like a total shakedown. What a great grift - have your battery not charged and up-charge people for it when you can hold them up in the wild. We ended up calling USA Drain and Plumbing who were courteous, understanding, and sent someone right out to do the job at a fair price. They also wrote a great report. Again, I hate to write bad reviews as you can see from the vast majority of my reviews. This one though left us no choice. I wish there was an option for ZERO stars. read more

I used priority one to replace an outside leaky spigot. The guy quoted me $175.00 and I said does that include the service call he said yes. Then he said the job was more complicated and it would cost $275.00. He didn't leave an invoice, I called the office and the reason it was $275.00 wasn't because it was more complicated he charged me a service fee. I tried calling the office several times to refund my money back since they should honor the quote he had given me, but unfortunately that hasn't happened. read more

This past service was exceptional!Christian kept me informed as to what he was going to do, what the values on my A/C components meant, was very efficient & clean. With other companies I've used in the past, I've had to ask them to put the booties on after being in a muddy area outside & also had to request that the tech service the inside component. Thankfully, didn't have to do that with Christian. He did all that automatically & when asked, also explained the difference between one time service fee & the annual plan they offer. It was good to get the information & make the decision for myself without pressure. I chose the annual plan, it just makes sense for my setup. I feel well informed & thankful that this company hires & keeps knowledgeable, personable, & professional service technicians like Christian. Allen from Priority One fixed my older Kohler toilet that wasn't flushing properly. He provided excellent and quick service.

My heater wasn't working right last month, so Priority sent a guy out the next day who determined I needed a new thermostat. He set up a temporary fix and I bought the thermostat online a month later. I couldn't get the wiring done properly myself, so I called them again and they sent someone out the same day. He installed it easily, but suspected the board was fried after a power surge over the summer. He sent another person out the next day from Priority who was working on my roof all day. He replaced the board, only to discover the blower engine was also dead. Now everything works, thanks to Priority. All 3 technicians could not have been nicer, and the price was more than fair. I recently had the unfortunate experience of my gas water heater basically calling it quits. Since I'm no longer in the desert at this time I needed to find a convenient, reliable and honest plumber to assess the situation, attempt to fix if possible or provide an honest quote for replacement if that's what was required. I requested info via Yelp and decided to try Priority 1 based on reviews and availability (it was the Saturday right before Mother's Day). My call went to an informative centralized answering service (nice touch for the weekend) and received a call shortly thereafter. David was my point of contact and my eventual project lead. He gave excellent advice regarding identification of the issue and the impending doom that was in our near future. After comparing alternative solutions (cheaper), I decided that going with P1 was worth the extra penny. Better equipment, service, local, informed, informative, and even checked water pressure regulator to ensure we wouldn't cause a failure with the new water heater (and worse in the house!)! As promised, David showed up Monday morning before noon and they were finished with both replacement of a 40-gallon water heater and a crusty old 1990-something water pressure regulator that was allowing around 120psi of water through our little house pipes. Not the cheapest weekend/Monday, but as an owner of a house that we love dearly but are renting out for the next few years, I feel confident that these items and this workmanship will prove to be money well invested. I was really pleased at his professionalism as he was quick to offer to come to my home and review the work and discuss the issues with me. That means a lot and after speaking with Roy who came to my home the same day I called, I truly believe that my experience was not the norm for them. We had a constructive conversation and he has done everything he can to make it right. We had a serious plumbing problem. Truly we were afraid that it would turn out to be a very long and costly repair job. The first service man tried 3 different spots to break our clogged drain, but ultimately realized a more powerful tool was needed. The next day Isaiah Gaona came and even with the more powerful snake trying all three possible entries the clog remained. However, he kept working and finally Succeeded!! Yay!! He was veer pleasant and very, very determined! We are very grateful for the tremendous effort he exerted and his refusal to accept defeat! We will definitely call for him again. Jose who come to our house found out that we didn't have enough hot air returns, installed 2 more returns and improved air flow significantly. The owner, Roy, actually came to view to our house to view the work and offer us options. We decided to add freon to our existing systems at the time. They saved our weekend and moreover, we have since decided to upgrade our 2 HVAC systems. Roy offered a very good system at a reasonable price. These guys are excellent! I had a relatively simple laundry tap replacement job, and Priority One had it finished the day after I found out about it (in the late afternoon, of course), AND completed the install of my new washing machine, even hauling away the old one, so there was no need to wait five more days for the original installation/delivery team to re-schedule and return to actually install. Priority One's crew was efficient and helpful, taking the time to answer all my questions. I have to consider taking off one star because we had a timing issue. My assigned team actually missed their arrival window. I called the office about 10 minutes before the deadline to find out what was up. Ideally, they should have contacted me about 30 minutes before the window closed, when it must have been clear that they would be late. However, once I contacted the office, the person there was great. She found out what was going on, made sure that their new arrival time still worked for me, and contacted me again when they were about 10 minutes out. And again, the crew was great once they did arrive. In my book, how a person or company handles an issue is far more important than the fact that there was an issue in the first place. read more
