My dog after a great grooming session!

I cannot say nice enough things about my experience here! This was the first time I've been and will 100% be a regular. First off the staff was super friendly over the phone and when checking in to my appointment! They sent reminders and gave me an estimate cost of the service! Super great info to have before arriving! The place is a smaller shop but very clean, even smells great! You can tell they take a lot of pride in their shop and work. The stylist/groomer that took care of my pup was so kind and got down on my dogs level and made sure to interact, touch, and begin the relationship with my dog. She noticed quickly the different textures of my dogs coat and was really in tune with what I was looking for. The appointment took about 3 hours and everyone was so kind. this is amazing service for an amazing price. We will be routine here and by taking such good care of our girl I couldn't have nicer things to say!

Briana is amazing!! She's groomed our Australian Bernedoodle 2 times now. It's always nerve racking to find a new groomer who properly cuts doodle breeds in fear that they shave them too short. I've had zero worries with Briana and A Walk In The Park. She does such a good job with doodle cuts, is very detail oriented, and a clear communicator about expectations and maintenance to maintain his cut. For reference, our dog's cut, bath, nail trim, etc. is $70 which we do every 6-8 weeks and we also do a bath in between which includes nail trim and sanitary cut and is ~$50.

Took great care of my big dog. He gets nervous about nail trims but the staff was so kind and took an extra few minutes to get him comfortable. I'm so grateful.

Great shop! Just picked up my fur babes, they look amazing with groom and fabulous scarves! Thanks A Walk In The Park!

I've brought my furbaby twice so far. I forget the young lady's name that does his grooming, but She's VERY good at listening to my preferences and she hasn't disappointed me yet. (Young girl with light brown/maybe blonde hair.) I make sure to detangle him prior to his appts helping them to avoid having to shave him down. And saving myself the heartache. I have a large 70 lb standard Bernedoodle. They treat us well and I hope can return that favor.

Jill did an amazing job grooming our Bernedoodle puppy!

A Walk in the Park is by far the best grooming our puppy has received so far! Jill was attentive and listened to exactly what we wanted. She was professional, thorough, and super quick turnaround! We will be using Jill and a Walk in the Park for all Finn's future grooming and bathing needs! Thank you so much, Jill !!!

Great place! I tried A Walk in The Park due to a friend recommending it..A friend that doesn't have a dog but knows the owner. I was impressed with how nice and friendly the staff was. My dog is no judge because he hates the groomer and was unhappy from the moment he got out of the car. But he's the dog that doesn't even like other dogs..The customer service was great and they even let me pick ink pens from their assortment! The groomer came out to the lobby area to greet Carmelo and advised that she would text/call after his appointment. I opted for text. The lady in the office explained the additional services offered such as boarding and how personal the experience is. This location is about ten minutes from my house and that's another plus! Once I picked Carmelo up he was cut just the way I asked and decorated in a bright neon green bandanna!

I took my dog Harper here for the first time today. She's an 8 year old dachshund mix with epilepsy and IVDD. I was pretty nervous to take her to a groomer because in the past she's had a seizure after coming home from the groomers. I've been grooming her myself for the past 5+ years but thought it was time to let the pros do it again. Jill was her groomer today and she was great! She asked a lot of questions about what I wanted done and listened to my concerns regarding Harper's epilepsy and IVDD. I paid an extra $10 to have her "expedited" meaning they called me right after she was done so Harper didn't have to wait in a cage. She was finished in an hour and 15 mins and she looks wonderful!! Exactly what I wanted and Harper seems happy too :) I will definitely return to have Harper groomed by Jill again.

! Since he is a rescue he got a little upset at Chris during the nail trim, but Chris just brushed it off with a smile

When I needed to find a new care giver I was concerned since she had been at the humane society twice, so I wanted the best environment I could find for her. Williamsburg was one place recommended to me. When I visited, I felt very good about the facility and people. The facility was very clean, well organized and staffed. Everyone seemed genuinely interested in the animals under their care. My dog certainly seemed to enjoy her stays (and for a time she was there more than she was at home). She came to know the staff and was always happy to see them. The staff knew her and always treated her so nicely. She was always happy to arrive and just as happy when I came home. While I no longer travel as much, Williamsburg remains the place I trust to take care of my dog. She always seems happy to see the staff and I've been very happy with the service I have received.

I took my Great Pyrenees in for a summer trim, but the outcome was not what I requested…read more Instead of a trim, her coat was shaved very short. The cut is uneven, particularly around her face, which appears choppy and not well blended. Her paws were also not cleaned up to the standard I expected. The areas of greatest concern are her armpit and belly, which were shaved extremely close. Her skin appeared irritated afterward, and there is a small area on her belly that looks consistent with a minor nick from the blade. I spoke with management to address these concerns and am currently requesting a refund based on the result and condition of the grooming. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service provided. If you have a long-haired or double-coated breed, I recommend clearly confirming grooming expectations in advance.

Do not willingly send your dog to this location of No Leash Needed…read more We did puppy preschool at the Hampton location and everyone was great. He learned quickly and was always happy to go. So when I tried to book him for a 4 night boarding there, I was disappointed but felt confident another location would be just as good. I can't believe how wrong I was... Sobek (my 5month old pup) goes to day camp 3-4x/week and has never been this dirty in his life. Even after a whole month! After just 4 days here he came back with his fur on the edge of matting, smelly, with signs he had peed himself and not been cleaned after. His eyes were caked with tears to the point one could not fully open. His tail had a clear spot of matted hair where he'd been chewing too! When they took him out front to me, his harness was not properly tightened for the leash position they were using and it was pulling on muscles in what I can only imagine was painful. Since we've been home he has alternated between crying and napping, not wanting to be more than a foot or two from me. I was a little concerned when I called to check in on him after his first night and they said that they have no cameras on the kennels and no one with the dogs overnight, but couldn't do anything about it while out of town and still had trust for the name brand. Never again.
