The day of the move, we had 2 guys plus Igor all moving stuff and they got us out of our house in record time (and while it was pouring down rain outside). We had some challenges being that we lived in a townhouse trying to get large furniture down, as well as a narrow street, and everyone exceeded our expectations. We called a bunch of movers to get prices and quotes. A-Way Express were the first people to come and do an in-home estimate. Igor showed up and casually and courteously walk through our home as we showed him what we needed moved. We had a lot of stuff, and I was a little uneasy about this daunting task but Igor calmly nodded, took notes and left. In a little while we received an email with a flat rate ( which was very competitive ) we accepted. They showed up 2 days before and offered us crates to help pack our stuff. The day before the move they came by to see how we were coming along with packing etc. They had some free time so they offered to take quite a bit of our stuff over, including some furniture. The day of our move, they arrived on time and 4 gentlemen started to get right to work. It took all day but there was not one issue at all. They are by far the best movers I have ever had in my life. I used A-Way Express to move my 1 bedroom apartment and my boyfriend's 1 bedroom in together into a townhouse. I requested quotes from about 8 moving companies. A-Way was not the cheapest and not the most expensive either, but provided the most bang for my buck. A-Way is insured as well. Igor promptly responded to all my inquiries and was able to provide a free and reasonable quote for the move. He was also able to provide a COI I needed for my apartment complex to move out ($30 which is in-line with every company). There were no surprises in the cost and what I was quoted was what I paid at the end. The team arrived on time and clearly had an effective and efficient plan to move everything. Everything was beautifully wrapped and secured. Nothing was damaged during the move (including the walls, etc.) The whole move from both our houses, including the transport time (~45 minutes), disassembly and reassembly took about 7 hours. The team had us setup, assembled, and wired so it was worth it! Everyone was very friendly, professional, efficient.
