Shame on you, Lonny, Al, Mark & Jamie! Do NOT use these crooks for any of your RV repairs. We did some contract work for them back in September of 2019, we were promised a check and that it was in process and we should receive it within 1 or 2 weeks, this was September 18, 2019!! YES, 2019......still no check. They owe us $4500. It saddens me that they are taking advantage of another small business. Unfortunately we have to go the Small Claims route. Just remember, do NOT trust them with your RV!! If they cannot pay their bills, they probably can't order parts that are needed to repair your RV. Stay away from A1 RV Sales!! read more

MAKE SURE YOU GET A QUOTE IN WRITING BEFORE YOU HAVE THEM START WORK ON ANYTHING! We were told by the parts guy it was only going to take a few hours and a few hundred dollars in parts.... ended up taking 3 DAYS and the cost WAY OVER the stated amount (there were NO unexpected complications). Felt like communication between departments was severely lacking. Told to bring vehicle in at 9am, then they waited until late in the afternoon to even start, and had to call and get clarification of what we wanted done. Called and told vehicle was ready, except the paperwork wasn't available because the person who had it had gone to lunch before I got there, so had to wait even longer. We did receive the check, but still filed a complaint with BBB. Dawn responded with a page full of lies. Mike B., the GM called me and said he wanted to make things right with us; then promptly responded on BBB that everything was good & there were no problems - while we were still waiting for the repairs to be done. I declined his response. He called back in a panic, but I didn't answer his call. We spoke with an attorney regarding this whole mess which angered A1 but did no good. Mike B. told my husband "we didn't put a gun to your head" in regards to buying the trailer. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My husband and I went and purchased a brand new travel trailer from these guys. The deal was made and a week later the trailer still had not been taken to be detailed inside and out. We worked out our loan agreement with Mary and my husband finally got a call to schedule a walk-thru and he gave them 3 days to decide on and they said Saturday. So both my husband and I headed down to Matley and we go into our travel trainer and it was disgustingly dirty inside and out plus the sales guy goes on to say we can't hook up your truck because the service department has to install the hitch and they need your truck. Well hello, why did they make an appointment with my husband for a Saturday? The service department never communicated to my husband in 3 different conversations that the needed his truck and it had to be done during the week. David the sales guy tells my husband that the detail guy was fired and they will get it detailed inside and out and come back with ypur truck on Monday at noon and we will call the tech over to get your truck all hooked up. So my husband does exactly that. Well,he gets there and they say oh you have to go over to the service center! He heads over to the service center and they broke a taillight on the trailer but they fix that and my husband asked what the wiring by the battery is for and he gets 3 different answers. If you are going to carry a product should you not know how things should work and what all the wiring is for? Finally we get the trailer home and a few days later we get a call from Mary the finance lady, well, there is a problem with the loan and the bank gave you an even lower interest rate and we need to redo the paperwork. So my husband goes down and our payments are now even higher and they said we have to purchase the extended warranty to get that better rate. What happened was, Mary who should know how to fill out loan paperwork made a mistake and the bank said we have two choices pay more per month with a balloon payment at the end but you have to purchase the extended warranty to get the lower interest rate or pay for less years but still have a much higher payment. So now I am being bullied into purchasing an extended warranty plus pay a higher payment? Once they came to our house to pick up the trailer they did not bring any paperwork to say the trailer is in excellent condition as it was since we did not get to use it. Once again wasting our time as we now have to wait for A1 to email us to that we will not incur any charges and that the trailer is in excellent condition because I would not put it passed them to try to charge us. Not to mention that we have been paying for insurance for somthing we don't even own but Mary said we had to have for the loan so we went and got it and our insurance company says we have 10 days. Thanks Mary, again you all realy know how to perform your job! So much bad information and I love how they turn their mistake into our problem. Funny how you tells us things and once we are back in your office upset that your wording changes. Before getting to the point of returning the trailer, my husband called Mike the manager and he was off and we dealt with the assistant manager to try to work out a deal that would get us at the payment we had already signed a loan agreement for and they would not even help us. Throughout this entire horrible process, there was so much bad communication and very incapable employees that their solution was we will come pick up the trailer at your house. We tried to go through our bank to get a loan and this company would not provide our bank with the necessary paperwork to get our loan approved. This place is so shady! Mike, I don't think I will be sitting by a campfire and referring anyone to A1 RV Sales! Way to treat your customers A1. Oh by the way Mike supposedly does not work there anymore but when my husband called they said he was off. Which is it? read more

My wife and I were going to purchase a 5th wheel from A-1. It was a consignment unit that had been smoked in for a long time. The plus was a new built in generator new rubber all the accessories that you would need. Like tire covers hitch stabilizer plumbing attachments for various hookups at different styles. So this was a lot of things included with the sale from the consigned. I talked with Gary about the hook up and he had a gooseneck hitch that was in the shed that he said came off another unit they brought in. I ended up talking with another salesman the next day Dave Suber. I was going forward with the sale gave them $2000.00 down while I got financing. Ok everything is going great I asked Gary about the gooseneck attachment and he was pissed that I was working with Dave now. He told me the gooseneck attachment was $200.00 cash no check or credit cash only, it was going to be included with the purchase but I changed salesman and it pissed him off. That statement tells me he is robbing the company or doing something shady ( cash only). As for the smoke smell I called service masters and that man said he could get rid of the smoke smell for $850.00. I thought fair enough. When I went to get the trailer all of the accessories were taken out. I asked Dave what the hell? He said he don't know what I was talking about and said let check. He came back with tire covers that belonged in the trash and said are these what your talking about? I blew up told him where he could put this trailer. I did get my deposit back within a week. All said and done wasted a lot of time the consigned lost his sale and these guys rob from units and sell for cash only on accessories that they steel from other people. I wonder if IRS knows about cash only sales from this lot. I did end up with a nice Auto mate fifth wheel from a private seller 2nd owner for half the price I was going to pay these jokers. read more

Even with the negative reviews I went to attempt to trade in a toyhauler for a regular trailer . We agreed on the price for both the trade in and the new trailer. For a week I was told they were working on the numbers and the financing. So finally I went back in and I tell you they worked on the numbers, the price of the trailer doubled and my trade in that had been there for a week had a sold sign in it. I hooked up to our trailer and left. I could of had our trailer on the market but they had it tied up. Not very good business people. read more

I needed a replacement ac 110 volt 3 prong plug end for my travel trailer. I live about an hour from Reno so I called A-1 to see if they had it. They said they did. I drove to Reno and picked up the part(Almost $30). I got home ready to install it and found the smaller Phillips screws were not any type of standard screw. I drove all around town looking for a screw driver to fit this with no avail. I finally had to drill out the screws to get it apart and now it is pretty useless. I summarize this to be cheaply made parts from China. ( says right on it). I am now out nearly $30 and now need to buy another plug end. Horrible experience. Their parts department is tiny and I believe full of cheap junk. Shop around.. read more

While I highly recommend the staff and store A1 Body Shop and RV Repair on Glendale, I equally don't recommend A1 RV Sales on Matley Ln. Dawn is one of the rudest people I've ever come into contact especially since I was a customer that contracted them to sell my camper. Back in October 2013 I put my camper on consignment on the lot, and they thought I was asking too little so they raised the price. After Dawn took over she called me and said I needed to come pick up my RV immediately. I asked if they could deliver it because I no longer have the truck with tie downs and she rudely replied that they no longer did that. I scheduled with Dawn to pick it up on a Wednesday morning but the gentleman and truck I arranged to help me had an emergency and couldn't help. I called Dawn Tuesday evening and left a voicemail telling her I had to postpone until Thursday. When I arrived all the doors were locked so I went to the back door an knocked, she unlocked the door but didn't open it. After waiting for 30 seconds I presumed it was OK to go in and when I announced myself and business she rudely replied "We expected you yesterday, you will have to wait a minute". I told her I left her a voicemail and she rudely replied "Well you are going to have to wait". Never in my life have I experienced such horrible customer service. I would not recommend either buying or putting anything on consignment at A1 RV Sales on Matley ln, I just hope that Dawn is replaced before A1 Body Shop and RV Repair on Glendale reputation suffers. read more
