A1 emptied our septic tank 7 months ago and we were having a back up, when we called to see if they could come out to empty again they told us we most likely had a clogged drain and they didn't want to charge us to empty tank when that probably wasn't issue. Very honest! They recommend we call plumber which we did and solved the problem at a much lower cost. Rarely can I say I am impressed with excellent customer service but A1 Septic and the Manager Aaron really were a pleasure to work with. They came out the same day to pump my septic, they texted their appointment, called when actually on they way and did the job professionally. My tank lids are about 18 inches below grade in very rocky dirt and it is always a Super hassle to find the exact spot, dig down etc. over several clean outs the lids had cracked corners and I just dreaded the task every few years. I chatted to Aaron about my frustrations and he suggested installing risers on the tank that would bring the opening up to grade level. I opted for that and they were back first thing the next morning for the install. The risers are super strong industrial plastic with tight fitting lids that screw down to hold them. We can put a few inches of soil over them but in the future they will be quick to find and no laborious digging. I used many Septic companies over 25 years and based on the good reviews I decided to try A1. They have clearly earned their excellent reputation. read more

These guys were awesome. We had previously used Septic Solutions to come out and pump our tank and inspect it. Not only did they not pump our tank they also lied to us and told us our risers were not up to code and that we would have to pay them an additional 1000$ plus to replace them. Luckily we got a second opinion. A1 was able to come out the very next day they re-pumped out tank and certified it with no issue. You can get septic service done with most any reputable service. This company is great. We have been getting septic service from "top companies" since 1994. These are the best. I'll give you the bullets: *Very fair prices, NO surprises. *Thorough, clean from beginning to end. They moved our huge 25lb tiles, the bark and paper and put them back, neater than before. Also, moved the excess dirt to a more needed location. No added cost! We had risers put in,hat accounted for the displaced earth. *Very kind, responsive, informative team. *Can't believe how they zeroed in on our our openings with no wasted shovel work. That saved on digging time. Also, our darned lids were about 3 1/2 ft deep, that was why we needed the previously mentioned risers. And, man, we got a good deal on those as well. It took all day and more earth removal and labor to put them in. *Professional attitude and satisfaction guarantee type of business. They take great pride in their work. Called on a Friday and spoke with Chris to set up service, he offered Monday, but Tuesday worked better for me. Set up as first customer of the day at 7 a.m. and Kyle was communicating by 6:30, great customer service. Excellent knowledge, he's been doing this for over 2 years, seen both good and more importantly bad situations. Very nice truck with no oil leaks. Would definitely make these guys your first choice for a house septic pump. My septic tank decided to overflow last night just as Guests arrived to stay a few days. I contacted Chris who reworked his schedule so he could come out immediately. Not only was he thoroughly professional but he took extra time to troubleshoot the potential reasons for the seemingly sudden issue. He went way out of his way deep into the night to try to find a way to save me the potential cost of a new leach field. Chris was extremely pleasant to work with and took the time to explain to a novice like me how exactly a septic system works and what we can do to best preserve it.
