What impressed me is that Dean and Robert took both and made them better, using their real knowledge of how concrete works. The control joints are placed right, they put in real drainage with actual drains and grading built throughout, and it looks clean and classy without being overdone. Flatwork around the entire house, driveway, front yard, backyard, both sides, fencing, gates. Did they get everything perfect on the first pass? Almost. What separates them is that when something was off, they owned it completely. No excuses, no pushback, just fixed. They paid attention to details that other contractors I quoted either missed entirely or only caught after I nudged them. Dean caught everything without me saying a word. Every day at the end of their shift they cleaned up and secured the site, even when it wasn't convenient. Robert ran a tight field operation and cared about every detail like his reputation depended on it. I have a young kid at home and that told me everything about who these guys are. I had my own engineer come out and review the work on-site. He looked around and said, unprompted, "You've got a great crew here." Engineers don't hand out compliments. That meant something. These guys come from commercial construction and brought that level of expertise to a residential job without going overkill. I actually spotted their truck at another client's property. I explained to him the problem of knocking in my pipes and he said it could be a number of things, said he could come out later in the week. Then he began telling me what the problem could be and asked that I check something under the sink. I did, he told me what to do and bam, the months-old problem was gone. He saved me the grief of hearing this massive knocking every time we turned on the hot water, and saved me hundreds of dollars. To be clear, he didn't need to do that. He could've have hung up the phone, come out on Thursday, turned the valve several times, and handed me an invoice for a couple hundred dollars. But he didn't, he did the kind, neighborly, and professional thing of taking care of the problem on the spot even thought it meant no revenue for him. Good business is a long-game. Adam Fisher, the owner of the company, came to quote a patio and offered to take off our steps and…read morepour the concrete under them, something that multiple other contractors that came for quotes did not see necessary. In the process, Adam and team broke the stairs immediately, and reassembled them with screws sticking out and chunks broken remains used to "level" the remaining stairs (photos of all work attached.) While on site, Adam asked for "200-300$" outside of the scope of the signed contract for the same work that would have been done with or without the additional request. Through the phone exchanges and emails regarding these issues Adam was arrogant and dismissive, yet also took blame for the stairs and will not resolve the issue. Adam's team poured our concrete before a heavy rain, but failed to redirect a gutter (as it had originally been before construction) from pouring directly onto the concrete causing a water stain from the pooling water on the fresh concrete. Again, when confronted with this issue and asking for a resolution Adam denied blame and said "wait a year". As of 6/11/26 there has been no reply nor efforts made on behalf of this company to repair any personal property damage nor resurface the concrete stain/ finish the job as fully paid for.
