If I could give them 0 stars I would! I reached out to see if I can have my snowblower serviced and…read morethat I believed it needed a carburetor. I was told they offer free pickup/drop off. They picked up my snowblower within a few days. I then received a phone call stating I needed a new belt and carburetor. The quote came to 600 for the total repair. I decided to not go ahead with the service due to the price being too high. Even still I got a payment request for 294.99! I was quite shocked because I said I didn't want to do the repair. I was told they automatically do a routine service prior to any repairs, the price was on their website, and I should have asked first! The 294.99 wasn't even for them to repair what I wanted done (carburetor)! So basically they charge 294 to even look at your snowblower. No wonder why they were offering free pickup/drop off. My snowblower was still broken! I checked their website and service prices were NOT listed. I made it very clear that I did not authorize any service and was unhappy. I went back and forth via text and they told me that's how they do business and I should have asked for prices prior to. I am not used to doing buisness like that. When you bring a car to a mechanic they don't just do services without getting authorization first. After some back and forth they gave me 50.00 off. I paid because they refused to return my snowblower without payment. They returned it about a week later. I bought the oem carburetor for 35.99 and installed it. This company is a complete disgrace and I can only imagine how many people they have scammed !

we had the take in a push line trimmer and a small snow blower for repair. three weeks and a total…read morerip off later we could have purchased two new line trimmers and a new small snow blower for the price!!!

Terrible and he has an excuse for everything. I had an inground sprinkler system installed by Joe…read more After it was installed a lot of the lines had come to the surface. Joe reburied them, and my landscaper buried them again when they reappeared. I had my lawn aerated in the fall and expected a few punctures but ended up with at least forty throughout the entire yard. I waited for weeks for Joe to show up to fix them and when he did show up it was at 5 PM when the sun was getting ready to set. He said that he finished the back yard although he hadn't and didn't touch any in the front yard. I waited several more weeks for him to return and when he didn't I decided I'd fix them myself. The lines I fixed were buried an inch deep. Certainly they should be deeper. I called Joe again to see when he would be back to finish repairing the lines and to close the system. He came by, again as the sun was setting, and closed the system but did not finish the repair of the punctured lines. He said he was too busy to fix them and that he'd be back when he finished closing everyone else's sprinkler system for the winter. He never returned. As I turn the system on this spring and begin repairing Joe's shoddy work I felt it was necessary to warn others, I wouldn't recommend Joe / East Coast Irrigation for anything. If I could give zero stars I would.
