The best smog shop. Period. I recently purchased a 1990 Corvette ZR1 from out of state. These cars are notorious for being tricky to pass being almost 30 years old. I brought it to the Smogfather based on yelp reviews and failed the first time. I was devastated and paranoid because the car was in a good running condition and was thinking it might the best it can do. The "Smogfather" recommended that I drive the car more on freeway to clear up the system. He said he doesn't mind testing again! I got a fresh tank of gas, ran it hard on freeway, came back and viola! Passed the smog! This is THE PLACE to get your smog checked. I was there for maybe 15 minutes max. The man who ran the shop is a gem! He was kind, helpful, and clearly took a lot of pride in his business. This guy was thee nicest man ever. As soon as I pulled up her kindly asked me to wait and brought me out a water bottle. I've never had a smog check and had them offer me water. He finished up with the person in front of me in less then 30mims after my arrival. I was not at his shop for more then 20mims. I have never gotten a smog before, have no idea what a smog is or why I need one, but whatever. So, I look up this place and call. He told me it was $50 for the smog. I get there at 5pm, they close at 5:30. I am greeted by an older man with a huge smile on his face and asks if I was the one that called earlier. He immediately hooks the car up and goes to work. There was a cool little seating area off to the side where you can relax while he gets the job done. About 5 minutes into the process, he comes and hands me a water. It wasn't even hot outside but this was an extremely kind gesture that I greatly appreciated. The process takes all of 8 minutes. If you're looking to get a smog, just come here. I don't even know how much a smog normally costs but it doesn't matter because this was literally the easiest thing ever. read more

I've been coming here for years. I came for a smog check in March and my car didn't pass. The smogfather told me to get the repairs done and come back in a month and he would not charge me full price. So I got the repairs done($2789 to be exact).
