First, he came to us and spent the day installing replacement covers on the captain's chairs. Then, he took the dinette and the bolt of material we had with him. In about ten days he was done with it. We picked it up from his shop and dropped off the sofa. Around ten days later, he was done with that. I recently got a base model Mustang and wanted to fix what the factory called a stereo so I called this shop. I was worried about keeping steering wheel controls and the back up camera. I called this shop and spoke with Charles. I was pleasantly impressed that he listened to what I wanted and took the time to discuss options. There was zero pressure and I was never pushed on a product. I ended up getting a complete stereo system with subwoofers. I hitched a ride with a friend and got to the shop a few hours earlier than it was supposed to finished and saw that they had a protective steering wheel cover and seat cover on it. I was happy to see that they treated it with care. Charles tuned the system, which made it sound like I was in the front row of a live show. They did a fantastic job of restoring the chair and made the couch appear to be brand new. The Stressless chair took approximately one week, and the couch was sprayed new within my house. When Coastal Colors called me on the phone about it, Greg quoted me a cost of between 200 and 400 dollars (only the parts were under warranty so the cost was for labor only). I thought that was kind of high but had no idea how long it would take (and neither did he) so I told him OK. I was thinking he probably charges by the hour. However, that was not the case, unless he charges $400 an hour. He had a helper with him which all he did was fetch tools. From the time they got to my house until the time they completed the job was right at 55 minutes. I was a little shocked and disappointed when he told me it was $400 and 30 dollars tax totaling $430 for a 55 minute job that didn't even come with a warranty for the workmanship.
