Went for happy hour and got a pitcher and a burger. The margarita pitcher is great and strong - perfect to be shared with a friend or friends. We had one between the two of us and hardly could finish it. The fries were good but the burger was lackluster. Lacked flavor. The food and service is slow but the staff is nice and polite. They seemed understaffed and the food took a long time to come out. The ambiance is very East village and the music was not too loud. I will come back!

A10 Kitchen in NYC's East Village is a prime spot for a evening happy hour, known for its lively atmosphere and excellent deals. Their happy hour extends until 7 PM on Saturdays, attracting a consistent crowd, often described as young and energetic, especially during peak happy hour times. The venue offers both comfortable indoor seating ( could be tight and loud though) and pleasant outdoor patio space, perfect for enjoying the vibrant East Village scene. You'll find a good selection of drinks, including pitchers of margaritas, mojitos, and sangria, making it easy to share with friends. We stopped by for a drink on Saturday Eve fr happy hour to grab a drink before dinner. We ordered margaritas to drink and fries to munch. Drinks were well balanced and fries were crispy and good quantity. Overall, a great place place to hangout with friends and soak in the east village vibe.

Phenomenal happy hour spot recommended from tik tok. They have cheap pitchers and drinks and the food is amazing. We got the margarita pitcher for only $21 and ordered the garlic Parmesan fries, pretzel knots and Mac and cheese. I cannot even describe how unique and great the pretzel knots were, 100% recommend. I also really liked the fries and should be a must when coming here. The Mac and cheese was decent but nothing crazy. The pitcher was also really strong so you truly get your bang for you buck here!

Good pitchers but price increased notably compared to reviews and menus I've been seeing from previous years. The happy hour snacks and food were ok. The bartender was very nice and attentive even though the bar was quite busy at some point. Would love if they brought back the pitchers from previous years (mojito, margarita flavors, etc.) and decrease the price a bit As the night went, they put some louder music and nice lights, so the vibe was better.

My go to spot for happy hour. It's an old reliable. Happy hour marg pitchers are the way to go and they are strong! Good for smaller groups to get better seating. Recommend to go if you aren't in a rush, most of the time it's one server running around and you may be missed but the vibes are there! The music is always fire too!!!!

$20 for a pitcher of margs or mojitos?!? It seemed too good to be true, so my walls immediately shot up. I've learned the same lesson the hard way from so many different avenues of life that if it's too good to be true, it probably is. I went with my roommate, former USC Basketball Megastar, on a beautiful summer Saturday. I know what you're thinking, "Two dudes going to get a pitcher of mojitos?" Chill. It's 2023 and sometimes a couple silverback gorillas just want a feminine drink on a nice hot day, what's wrong with that? Okay, I will concede that every time I hear the word "mojito" that little clip of Brian Griffin from Family Guy pops in my head ahahahaha. I would quote it here but I don't want to be Yelp canceled. Anyways, the 2 silverbacks sit down and confidently order a pitcher of Mojitos. When the pitcher comes, my disappointment is immeasurable. Upon first inspection, it is a pitcher of ice with a splash of mojito. Why does god give his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers? However, the most amazing thing happened. Once we poured our first 2 drinks, there was still a solid amount of mojito left. Some sort of optical illusion, I imagine. Then, after cheersing the mojito and saying "Kanpai**" we take our first sip and are SHOCKED. These drinks are STIFF, no watered down danced-on mojitos here. On their website they say the pitchers provide about 4 drinks, but I'd say it's closer to 5, maybe 5.5 STIFF drinks. I also saw they have pretzel bites on the happy hour menu which I will absolutely try next time. I, at some point, will write a review about how I think pretzels are criminally underrated. Decent place for happy hour - there wasn't any indoor seating left which made it tough given the rain. However, the sangria pitcher was delicious and I got a decently sized cheeseburger with well seasoned fries. Service is pretty fast as well.

Honestly...3 stars is a little nice because the food was really good. Very flavorful and delicious. However, we came here for happy hour and left a little disappointed. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, the Mac and cheese with mushrooms, and a burger. The Mac and cheese had no mushrooms which we paid extra for (I swear though we were told different). The pictures were definitely misleading about that. Same with the sangria--picture looked like a bigger pitcher (for and added cost) than the other drinks and it was not bigger. This was all ok though because it all tasted good. But the cherry on top was bad service. Everyone was rude and unhappy. We were so nice and felt so bad about even asking about the mushrooms. We felt so bad after asking for anything. This happy hour quickly became an uncomfortable hour. I think there are better ones in the city. Prices have also recently gone up :(

Solid brunch spot with big portions and fast service. We sat outside in their little street hut; inside looked pretty dark. They were out of the fried chicken sandwich, so I got a bacon egg and cheese. It also came with fries! The bacon was cooked really well and had a perfect crispy texture, and the fries were soft with crispy edges. There was a a ton of bacon, and I couldn't finish everything--very generous portions here!

Food was excellent, prices were great, service was better. The shortrib sandwich, fries, and cocktails were the highlight of 2020 for me. My wife loved the octopus and mushroom burger. Arbor was the absolute man. Great service and excellent cocktail selections. One of few places where you can still show up without a reservation and get seated with a heater. I'm coming back today after work to get a another short rib sandy. read more

A10 Kitchen would make a good date spot with its wide array of small plates and thoughtful and tasty cocktails. I had the pork belly, which is kind of like a thick cut bacon roughly chopped and stir fried in a sweet and sour sauce, served with slices of grilled bread. There are heat lamps for each table, which seats four. It's not as warm as some other setups since the seating is right on the avenue, but they do their best. read more

A favorite spot for many locals for a tone down environment to chat up and chat with friends. Extensive seating outdoors on the sidewalk that is semi private and well covered from the rain or other weather conditions. The cocktail drinks were delicious. The service in the outdoor space leaves much to be desired, expect to be almost ignored as you are not clearly visible to staff. There is very very limited beer selection, nothing on draft and only beer available in cans. If you want a standard beer do not expect to find it here, was disappointing for the beer drinkers in our group. read more

Very pleased with the service. Cocktails where one of the best I have had in the city (Manhattan made perfectly) There offer a big selection of affordable small plates that you enjoy if you want to try a variety of the menu. The spring menu is now available and offers delicious fresh vegetarian option which is perfect for me because I am a vegetarian. The service was attentive and professional and very friendly. Visited twice so far and loved the food and ambiance. We could access the menu through our phones. Decent wine and beer choices, fantastic cocktails.The food menu is terrific. Not extensive, but very well assembled. Dishes they've developed or put their spin on are very creative. Everything that we tasted was equally fresh and tasty. Great spot. Perhaps eating at the restaurant is nice, but my delivery experience was horrible. I ordered delivery--octopus, two orders of fries, a burger, and some drinks. The octopus was cold, but the flavor was good. The fries were disgusting, hard and flavorless. Inedible. The burger and second-order of fries never came, when we called the restaurant they made minimal effort to make things better--first denying that they forgot the items, then only offering a refund for the burger (and not the fries). I also asked for silverware--which they did not include. read more

Good drinks, however we were disappointed by the service. We went for the happy hour at 6pm, started with the regular marg pitcher which was good. Around 6:30 we ordered fries, a cheeseburger, and a blood orange margarita pitcher. The fries arrived promptly, however the cheeseburger never came and our server never noticed. The pitcher we received (15 minutes later) was not the blood orange flavor, which our server also did not notice and he did not come back to our table for us to tell him. We tried to order another pitcher at 6:50 and were told that we could no longer order a happy hour drink (happy hour ends at 7). When we got our receipt, we were still charged for the cheeseburger and blood orange pitcher, and when we let them know the cheeseburger was removed however there was no apology or change in the pitcher. Overall the happy hour was good, but the service made us question going back. read more

the happy hour here is AMAZING. $20 pitchers of mojitos/margs etc. Great HH deals on food-- and it's tasty food too. The drinks are tasty and strong, the food is great. We hung out here until it got dark bc we were enjoying everything so much. Looking forward to returning soon in the warmer weather sometime! read more

Good take out food! It's close Tompkins park if you're looking for some good brunch and outdoor park dining on a sunny day. They have a great brunch burger. We were excited to try the chicken and biscuits but they were out of it...must be popular! They also offer drinks to go with food, and have indoor and outdoor dining. The staff are very friendly, and the burgers and fries were tasty. Would definitely try this again! It's in a fun area. read more

Had a great first experience here. The vibe is chill/fun and the HH is truly fantastic. I was skeptical about ordering mussels for only $10 and figured the $5 wine would be a tiny glass and barely palatable. Erroneous! Both the food and wine were really good and generously portioned. Hostess/waitress Marla was super accommodating, friendly and provided excellent service. I look forward to returning again soon! read more

I've been here twice now and each time was pretty disappointing. The service is a joke, unfriendly and the first time, and server forgot my entree and he just shrugged!! No apologies or anything! There is a reason the happy hour drinks are so cheap, because they are terrible! The wine is definitely boxed wine and the margarita is straight sour mix. I give it two stars because the chicken sandwich is fantastic and so are the French fries. At least the kitchen staff has their act together! Overall a very disappointing East village spot. read more

I've been here once and found numerous hairs in my food (blonde) and on top of that the staff was arrogant and acted like they didn't want to be there. With so many great options within 500 feet of my apartment I can care less but it was still a gross experience. read more

My friends and I often come to A10 on Thursday and Friday nights to enjoy their amazing happy hour! We live close and enjoy going. Between our friend group and visiting friends, we have tried so many things on the menu (both food and drink) and have never been disappointed! The happy hour is an especially great deal. The rosemary french fries are the best! As are the mussels. I could go on and on about what to try. Grateful to have such a lovely neighborhood spot, with such warm hospitality, to make great memories with friends. Highly recommend A10! read more

It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

What followed was one of the most ridiculous customer service experiences I've ever had. We were met by a group of very young, completely unprepared hostesses who seemed utterly clueless about the situation. Nobody knew where the bag was. Nobody knew who had logged it. Nobody knew who we spoke to on the phone. Nobody appeared interested in finding answers. I repeatedly asked for a manager and got nowhere. It felt like nobody in the building had the authority, training, or desire to solve a problem that their own staff created. Let's review: Your employee tells us the bag is there. We spend nearly $100 on transportation to come get it. We arrive. The bag is gone. And the response is essentially a collection of blank stares and shoulder shrugs. No urgency. No accountability. No explanation. No solution. I've never seen a business so casually waste a customer's time and money. We left feeling completely dismissed and frankly wondering whether anyone at Fraunces Tavern has any idea what customer service is supposed to look like. Hundreds of dollars spent at the establishment. Nearly $100 spent returning because we trusted what we were told. This place is definitely one of my favorites in the area! I came here for my birthday, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The service was great; they were amazing at giving us what we needed, and if there was any problem, they were quick to solve it. The drinks were great. I totally recommend their espresso martini as it is, I believe, the best one in the East Village. The food was AMAZING. I urge you to go get their A10 Burger and you will thank me.
