Newish bar in the LES with a neighborhood feel in the best way. Stopped by before 7pm and it was a super chill vibe. Nomz: Had the steak nachos to share and they were yummy, would def get again. Bartender also recommended the cheese curds. Drinks: We had a couple of beers and also margaritas which were on happy hour (weekdays 3-7pm). We were pregaming for despicable me and the bartender got creative and made us a super cute themed minions shot, with eyes and everything haha. (Shout out to Jimmy!! You are the best!) Service: Sat at a table by the window and the bartender came by with water and got our orders. Service was super great, above and beyond most bars in NYC - made you feel like an old friend was stopping by for a drink. Ambiance: Laid back, but put together. A couple of tables by the entrance/windows with natural light, followed by the bar and another section with tables towards the back. Nope or Dope: Dope, would love to stop by here again! And maybe it can be my new go to neighborhood bar :)

I came here around 10:30pm on a Saturday. It was just starting to get busy. They have a large bar with tables in the front and seating on the wall opposite the bar. They also have a back room with a giant disco ball and additional standing tables. When we first arrived, the back room was reserved for a birthday party, but it finished around 11 and was opened up to everyone. They have a signature cocktail menu. I got the gin gin mule. The ginger and citrus flavors came through nicely. The bartenders take the shaking of cocktails very seriously, which is fun to watch. The DJ was okay. He played top 40 interspersed with pop beats. Not many people were dancing, but it was fairly early so things might pick up later in the evening.

Awesome happy hour spot with great service. Never too crowded, bartenders make awesome cocktails ($12 during HH!). Pretty solid draft list ($6during HH) too. There's a couple TVs playing sports along with a room in the back that houses more tables. Will definitely be back!!

I was craving a steak sandwich and fries that didn't cost an abysmal amount of money. Sat outside early Saturday afternoon and got exactly that. Great service, amazing fries, decent price. What more could you ask for?

Went the first week Mary's opened and had an excellent time. Rowdy, fun scene that night. Good looking place. The long front bar is a classic antique wooden behemoth -- perfect for posting up, hanging with friends, or watching a game. Bartenders were cool, professional and friendly. We didn't eat, but the food looks fantastic -- high end pub fare. And the back room has a big screen TV and (are you sitting down?) a working disco ball. Good spot for a private party or public tomfoolery of any sort.

This is such a cute bar to visit if you're in the lower east side area. They serve not only drinks, but a selection of food as well. The wings here were highly recommended and they actually use a smoker for it!! Drinks were well balanced and i would recommend getting the green tea shots. More refreshing than the usual green tea shots i have. The service was personal and friendly. We went on a Tuesday and there were several people at the bar. I can tell this place would be fun on the weekends with their massive disco ball in the back. Will definitely be coming back here!!

The feel of Mary's pulled us in...the staff was genuinely nice and welcoming and the food was 10/10!

This place is epic. Hands down the best bar in the area, perhaps one of the best bars in the city. When you go ask about the origin of the actual bar in there. It's amazing. The drinks and service are fantastic and are beyond compare. The food is off the charts. The fries are made WITHOUT SEED OILS or any oil! There fries will blow your mind. The wings are very special. I think they are charcoal grilled.. at least they taste so! They are otherworldly. Everything on the menu is delicious. The pretzel and the BURGER! oh my. The place itself is stunning and offers a very cool & relaxed vibe. Perfect date spot! Perfect post work drinks spot. Happy hour is LONG and quality. Sorry, I

We just walked in here to see if we could order some food for the karaoke place nearby. The bartender was very nice and said we could order to go. I got some tacos and a frozen margarita. The place has a nice atmosphere with a quiet tv show playing. It was quick service.

    BBQ Ribs and vegetable fritters

The very first thing our Mary's server told us, on our first visit, was 'The food is way better than it has to be.' He was right, and I'll also add the staff is way nicer than they have to be (good thing) at this resplendent Orchard Street bar and eatery. Every single person from the doorman to the bartender to the owner who invited us in on our second visit seems like they care deeply about the success of the place. Our first visit featured particularly memorable cheese curds with marinara and a soft pretzel with beer cheese. Both were way more memorable than your average bar snacks, and enough to pull us back a second time on a night of bar hopping in the Lower East Side. On the most recent visit, we ordered jalapeño poppers and BBQ ribs; one of the managers came over to tell us these items were made in the smoker leftover from the previous restaurant. The ribs were good, but the real star were the vegetable fritters, which were addictive when slathered in BBQ sauce. I really liked the poppers - stuffed with pimento cheese - but my partner had feedback that they could've used more cheese. Regardless, I licked both plates clean. The space is beautiful and festive, and can easily fit large groups of friends. Highly recommended for a downtown get-together with comfort food bites before a night of bar-hopping.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.
