This place has really went downhill. I used to thoroughly enjoy having an occasional manicure/pedicure with my daughters. I recently visited and discovered they are under new ownership/management. I scheduled an appointment for my mother and I to have manicures and pedicures. We were placed on opposite sides of the shop. They completed my manicure and then attempted to start my pedicure, while my mother's manicure was still being done. I had to remind them I made an appointment so we could sit, talk and enjoy our pedicures together. They didn't seem to understand this concept. What's the purpose of scheduling an appointment...? Previous management would have never allowed this. Guess it's time to find a new nail place. read more

Came here with my friend, we both decided to get the French tip manicures. I have 2 problems with this place. 1) language barrier - we asked for different base colors with white French tips. What I got was just the white French tip while my friend got her French tips in the color of the base that she chose! Total miscommunication! It was a bit frustrating. 2) Poor quality of work. Both ppl who worked on us- they filed our nails crookedly and the French tips, you can tell, we're done in haste. read more

My gel pedicure chipped and fell off within 3 days. A week later it looks pretty terrible. Will go back to Winn off of sheldon from now on.

The other day my daughter and I decided to have our nails and toes done. Called in the morning and got a fast response for a reservation. When we got there we got served pretty fast. My experience with my husband there yesterday was... meh. We came in for our 10:30 appointment and they took us right away. They are taking the proper safety precautions by wearing masks and gloves, and having the plastic barrier between the technicians and the patrons. They were friendly enough, but I noticed that when my husband and I sat together in the pedicure chairs, we were literally touching arms and elbows because all of the seats were so pressed together. My husband is one thing, but if a stranger was sitting next to me without creating a 6-foot distance, I would feel very uneasy even with a mask on. I looked up and realized we were there for an hour and a half and they were just barely starting on my nails. We just asked for regular pedicures, a regular manicure and an art pic gel set. I'm from California, so I was dying to get my nails done anywhere. My massage was OK, but it felt like she was slapping mayo on a slice of white bread. They didn't even offer anything else special like sea salt, or hot wax. I barely got cuticle oil. I did want a gel acrylic set, but by the time they would have finished, it would've been at least another hour. This is a place where you go just to get the basics. read more

My nails never last more than a week when I go. There is no attention to detail. Every time I went here I was passed to 4 different nail techs within the entirety of my appointment. I spend 20-30 minutes waiting mid appointment. I was charged a false price my second time getting my nails done. There was gel polish painted over my skin. I have had nice appointments here before but recently it has been extremely disappointing. read more

Entire staff is very friendly and they like to sing keeps the atmosphere fun and inviting. Danny is great. Good quality of work and the results last. I always look forward to mani pedi day. I came on the weekend once and it was a little busier so appointments ahead of time may be a good idea especially if you have to keep a tight schedule. My favorite part is getting the massage during the pedicure. Danny is very careful to massage each muscle of the lower leg and foot. It's so relaxing! Amazing! Walked in and the wait wasn't very long, the color and design selection is awesome (cat eye, ombré, chrome). I didn't catch the name of the women who took care of me but she was awesome! I showed her a picture of the shape I was looking for and she did it flawlessly. I'm visiting Prescott, AZ currently and I have been getting gel manicures 1-2 times a month for the last 5 years. It has NEVER taken more than 45 mins to do my nails. I was at A to Z nails to from 4:45pm until 6:19 PM, and I have to find another nail salon to re do my nails. I would like to preface my next statements with, I know not all salons can do certain designs or exact designs, but I do expect that if I have a picture and the nail consultant feels comfortable enough to attempt it, that the finals result be at least attempted. I did have gel polish on most of my nails, when I came and I realize that is extra time added on. But it does NOT take an hour and a half to take off gel polish. The woman who began taking my polish off did not speak English, which is fine, but made it difficult to communicate what I wanted to her. I had 3 different men help interpret to her. She started to cut my nails, without asking what length and as it happens I did not want them cut at all, but I pulled my hand away too late, and shed already taken a chuck out of my thumbnail. Once she began to buff my nails, something she made incredibly painful, for the 3rd time, making it over an hour since we began , with no color on my nails, I asked her if we could move on. I spent the next 10 minutes explaining to 2 different people, that I was frustrated that she had been "removing my polish" (which had been removed 40 minutes prior) for over an hour and I was hoping to move on from the 3rd round of buffing. To which, the woman who was later identified as "the manager," explained we have to buff the nails for the polish to stick. While I understand that, I was forced to ask her if that meant 3 rounds of buffing and did she see any polish remaining on my nails, she admitted she did not. I was asked to wash my hands and when I returned my nail consultant had been replaced by young man. I showed him the photo I had been hoping for which was a small bow on my ring finger w a French tip in blue ( image Tiffany's & Co.) I showed him the picture several times. He put 4 coats of blue in my tips that take up a large portion of my nail (so nothing like a French tip). He never even attempted the bow after assuring me several times he could do this bow. So as he was doing the last step, the alcohol over the "finished" product, I told him to just skip the bow. I was told my nails would cost $30. Then I was told it was $35 at the register. I was vocally and visibly unhappy with the final product, and no one asked me if it was ok, if I liked it or if I was happy with it. They are not interested in their product or in customer service. If you are considering going to A to Z nails, I would consider just doing it yourself, at home. (*** my manicure time was also without any kind of lotion or massage, which I did ask them not to do, as I prefer to opt out if that service. Making just the removal of my existing polish, several rounds of buffing and adding new color a total of and hour and a half. With the final product being nothing at all what I asked for, or visually demonstrated.***) Just as a note regarding customer service all the other nails consultants were on their phones at their stations, unless they had a client, and getting their attention was very difficult. read more

I have gone to A2Z Nails for over 10 years. I went in last month and the previous owners were gone, replaced with someone new. They have raised the prices significantly and did not do what I asked. Also, the pedicure is really quick and it seems like they are just in a hurry to move you along. Very unfortunate. I will not go back. read more

The people were very much more hospitable than the last few places I've been in Prescott. I had shellac/ gel polish to my nails and toenails with a translucent glaze overtop, and it looked AWESOME! About 4 days later, the top layer was peeling off, and I went back in for them to fix it, and they did- no problem!! They have a 2 week guarantee. I will be returning. read more

A-Z nails came highly recommended. I went to get my nails done but unfortunately they were closed and I had to go to the place inside Walmart. That was the biggest mistake I ever made my nails looked horrible and they were extremely rude. A week later I went back to A-Z nails and of course they were open thank goodness and I met a male technician there named Wilson. Not only did he fix my incredibly horrible nails they looked absolutely beautiful when he got done. I absolutely love this place I wish I could give them 10 stars I will never go anywhere else. This may have been the worst pedicure I've ever had. Completely unsanitary; no liners in the pedicure chairs, tools were not sanitized but rather just ran over with some water. The gentleman who did my nails put a burning hot towel directly on my leg. The staff were not very friendly; they seemed to want us to leave quickly. Update on the review I wrote in 2014 below. It's changed. It's too busy, overbooked and the quality just isn't. Walked into A2Z Nails today because it's close to where I live. I've been to a couple of nail salons and haven't found "mine" yet. Wilson sat me down and began his task. I have an ingrown nail and I told him about it. Oh my GOD! This place is absolutely amazing and I have to scream about it. My wife's nails are so sharp and symmetrical! Honestly the only place in Prescott I would recommend anyone to go to. Steven is absolutely fantastic and I'm so happy I stopped in today with my wife and had the pleasure of having her nails done here today! Never want to go anywhere else and the prices are wonderful.
