My mom and I visited after it being recommended by a friend. They were very nice and got us in right away. They have massage chairs that were comfortable and clean. They had two options for pedicures, a regular or the spa pedicure. I forgot if they actually called it a spa pedicure or not, but the point is...it was one that was supposed to be better. We opted for the more expensive one that was to include more massage. Back in my home state, a spa pedicure generally meant something more special. Usually, it was hot stones, special oils, lavender in the water, or leg masks....this one...just seemed like a regular pedicure. Massage, while relaxing, wasn't anything outside of a normal pedicure to me. While this place was good, I probably won't pay the extra money for the special pedicure...because it wasn't so special. But, overall, it was still a great pedicure and my toes look pretty. :) read more

I really love Kelly here. My nails look great. She's fixed them from when I travel and I've had other bad nail salons. I asked her for ballerina tip nails and she told me they're called coffin nails hahaha. Right after Friday 13th and having 2 black cats run in front of my car (ps-do the 2 cats cancel each other out?) anyway, prices are great. The nail salon as a whole was nice. Unfortunately I didn't get the best person for my mani/pedi. After working 11 days straight I really wanted to be pampered and would have paid for any extra service they offered, but was not asked anything....What level of service I wanted, if I wanted extra callous removal, extra massage, design, etc. I was so disappointed I left without getting my fingernails painted. read more

Went for a pedicure and wasn't overall happy with how I left and was charged $30. $30 isn't a bad price for a good pedicure but the paint was applied and had gaps and was on my skin when I left. The gentleman applied the hot towel on my feet and it was still way to hot. He also made my heals much softer but didn't exfoliate any other part of my feet and it really needed it. I had pointed out before I got out of the chair where my foot still felt rough and he just touched it and smiled. He didn't say a word to me the entire 40 minutes I was there so I don't know if he understood anything I was saying. It was a good location for me and was excited to finally got to treat myself after having my baby but I don't know if I'll go back. read more

Just walked into this nail salon thinking it was a second V&B Salon (the other one is next to the Walmart in Prescott), but it was sold to some friends of the V&B owners about 6 months ago, an adorable, sweet couple named Tim and Annie. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately helped by Annie, the friendly and outgoing owner. She did my toe polish change with a beautiful hand-drawn flower and her husband Tim did my new set of gels. I wanted coral gels with green ring fingers. They loved my interest in the fun colors and were very helpful helping me with the colors. I was a little picky about my colors and having my nails hand-filed but again they were helpful and sweet. Definitely planning on going back for my fill, only $27 for a gel fill and I get to change my colors every time! read more

I would give Steven a 4.5 star rating for my SNS dip manicure, but the female who did my pedicure stuck me with the nail scissors when she was cutting the edge of my big toe nail. She didn't say sorry...just looked up and grinned at me when I said ouch and jerked my foot. Actually, she didn't talk to me at all. I understand there might have been a language barrier, but she didn't even greet me. I didn't get her name, but she wore glasses. Also, I had old product on my nails, and instead of them wrapping my nails to soak while I was getting my pedicure, Ti used the drill to shave off some of the old product, and burned me twice. I asked him why he didn't wrap first, so that he wouldn't have to shave off the product, and he said, that's a good idea, she should have done that. This place is great! I went for the first time yesterday. I went for a gel manicure and I did have to wait a while but it was TOTALLY worth it! My manicure came out perfectly! Everyone in there was so friendly and inviting. They all kept apologizing to me because I had to wait, which I didn't mind doing at all. I definitely recommend this place! I was in Prescott for business, and on the way to town, I tore a nail to a painful point. I found A2Z after driving by two other nail salons in the area, and I'm really glad I did. Not only did they do a proper nail repair, but they also re-did my shellac manicure. My nails came out looking excellent! The staff was really fun and friendly too, which was a great bonus. I've been coming here since it opened and the quality has gone down. We definitely got a "new" hire doing the pedicure today and it was bad. A very poor quality massage and then a VERY poor pedicure. The girl doing my pedicure finished quickly and sat down and played on her phone while my friend still was getting a massage. I asked that the poor nail polish work polish be corrected and it was, but then I was told that my toenails were "too" small and that was why it was a bad job. There needs to be some sort of quality control for the new hires to make sure they are trained and deliver quality work. I agree with the other reviews stating the place is dirty. There really is not excuse for that. Also, the selection of nail polishes to choose from is also gone down. They look old and they don't have current colors. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I have my nails filed in a stiletto shape and three of the tips had broken off (they are my real nails, not acrylics). No other salons could take me so I came here. Christina did a PHENOMENAL job putting acrylic extensions on three of my nails with UV gel polish over. Amazing salon! The BEST nails I have ever had...thin, natural looking, and really sturdy. Pedicure is gorgeous, they take their time and do it right. And they have the best prices in Prescott...gel fill $31, other places were $10 more in town. Quality products! Guarantee their nails for 2 weeks, no charge if you have breakage in that 2 weeks. I love this place! So friendly, so pleasant. One of the manicurists is always singing along to whatever music is on. I like all of the people who have done my nails, so far. My especial favorite is Lucy, who is smart and warm and interesting and does a great job. She's gives a great pedicure and manicure. I came in one day, without having eaten, and she opened up her drawer and gave me two pieces of chocolate and a glass of water. Nothing is so special as unlooked-for kindness. I've been to other salons in town and most of them are adequate. This place is somehow special and you'll know it by how busy they are and how cheerful everyone is. There is a very real feeling that these people enjoy working together and like what they do. read more

Really nice staff but they don't use liners for their pedicure baths. They also say they clean the instruments between clients but they never open them from a package. They're just out in the open and they're no longer sterile if they're not in a package that has been in the autoclave. I came here on a recommendation but I'm too afraid to get an infection to come back. read more

Extremely dissapointed. The staff is very rude and unhelpful. They do not clean their instruments either. I have been in the salon every week to get my nails repaired after they broke off within two days. The staff was rude and irritated with having to fix the nails they did incorrectly. The tech also put one of my nails on crooked. As well as yelled at my husband for laying back in one of their waiting chairs stating that "he needed to get up because it wasnt a business like that". Disgusted with the overall experience and will definitely be telling friends to avoid going there. read more

Kharma just happened to be finishing up with someone and had a few minutes to fit me in. She is such a sweetheart and made me feel very welcome. She did an AMAZING job on my nails!! i have used this place three times. fits was for a powder/dip full set. i was quite satisfied with that. my nails were even and looked great. then i went back to have them fill only to be told they won't fill the powder/dip nails. so off god sent and another full set of acrylic that they said they would fill as they grew out. so today i go back for a fill and the said no. i waited too long and they needed to come off? what? nooo no way that'sBS. so i walked out. i am not a fan of this place. and no i refuse to have a "new full set" every time. i would not recommend this place read more

Called here the other day for a last minute pedi, the gal said to come by 1:30 and they could get me in. I showed up at 1:25, picked out my color and waited...and waited...and waited. Finally they took me back at 1:50 they got my feet soaking and said someone would be with me shortly. Minutes later a group came in without appointments either and they sat down 3 of the 4 from their group, 2 of the ladies pedicures started instantly and there I was still soaking. The gal next to me was apart of their group and she was waiting as well. Finally at 2:05 they started my pedicure...it was about 20 minutes long but her massage was really nice at the end. Was disappointed I didn't get started on time nor was the pedicure that great. As I was finishing my pedicure they still hadn't started the poor gal next to me and her group was nearly done. My toe polish looks terrible today and I got them done Friday afternoon....it's Sunday, you would think it had been a while since I got them done. Timing was bad, atmosphere was mediocre and the product was disappointing. read more
