Reading the reviews Im wondering if I experienced a miracle. I searched for two weeks for a surprise party bus for my boyfriend's 21st birthday. It was 30 of us and I called everywhere. Most buses charged over $1500 for 5 hours. I found AA coaches through a page on facebook "mypartybusnyc" and gave them a call...I GOT SO LUCKY! The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were patient with me (i was very nervous that it would turn out to be a disaster). The pictures were too good to be true considering the fantastic deal I got for 5 hours on a friday night. Both Diamond & Karina were wonderful with helping me out in any way possible. The bus itself was GORGEOUS. And our driver, Emmanuel, was superb!!!!! He was very kind to us despite us getting a little too rowdy (it was a 21 birthday bash afterall right? I was married over 2 months ago and AA Getaway Coaches provided a 50 passenger bus and a 25 passenger bus for the whole of the wedding party. I will say that the equiptment was awesome very new very clean. If only the same could be said for the professionlism of the staff. The agreement was simple, pick up my family at the hotel and bring them to Bensonhurst Brooklyn for the ceremony then transport them DIRECTLY back to the hotel to terminate their service. The only logical route is through Staten Island so I wasnt surprised when the bus was over 30 minutes late arriving because the driver of the 50 passenger bus came through Manhattan and down the BQE instead of the contractually agreed upon route. The ceremony had to be pushed back, we werent able to take bridal party photos in order to try to save time. Except then the 25 passenger bus ( with the bridal party) decided to take the route through manhattan; a decision that took over 2.5 hours to reach the reception hall. Since the big bus took the correct route in return to the hotel ( after circling bensonhurst for 20 minutes ) it still only took an hour and a half for them, which was exactly as planned Since the Drivers were clearly at fault for breaching the agreed upon routes I was surprised to hear that AA Getaway Coach was attempting to bill us for an hour of overtime when it obviously was the individual drivers that were responsible for it. Thats when I had the distinct displeasure of speaking to CORENA who supposidly wanted to hear my reasoning on this issue. Except Corena isnt much of a listener. After attempting to make some concession with them I explained very clearly why I didnt understand why I was being held responsible for the drivers errors which I pointed out. It was then that she flew off the handle proving that she wasnt listening to my plight at all. She started twisting every word that I said and cutting me off or rudly talking over me at every opportunity. Thats when she crossed the line entirely. "Listen Mistaaa, if you really wanna be a lie-ah then you should really get your lies straight..." I really dont take kindly to having my intergrity defamed before I even getthe opportunity to explain my point. After regrettibly saying something rude (however well deserved it might have been) I hung up. You'd think it was over till she called me back in a lame attempt to verbally harrass me more. "Your a lier and your gonna get whats coming to you... Planning a Sweet 16 party with 30 teenage guests, I had lots of concerns and wanted to make for a party my daughter would remember her whole life. AA Getaway exceeded my every hope and were absolutely wonderful. From planing it with Corina in their office over the phone, to working with Vincent (the driver) it was an extremely pleasant and professional experience! On one hand, this kind of party is not going to come cheap, but on the other hand I will say that I did some price comparisons and these guys had the best prices. It was worth EVERY penny. Also a shout out to Diamond in their office for being quick to respond and helpful. And Vincent - if you read this - please add the name of your assistant on the bus to the comments. He kept the party going and was all KIND of helpful - He was awesome and deserves praise too. They were on time. The bus was clean. The sound system and lights are amazing. I don't know if you can request a specific driver and they are probably all good. But if you can get Vincent as your driver, you'll have an amazing party on wheels with NO worries! read more

I used AA Getaway Coaches for my birthday party dinner & bar hop in New York. They were wonderful. I searched far and wide and their prices were better than other companies in the area. This was the first time I had been on a party bus and it was the first time for most of my friends and family that were in attendance. They all were impressed and fully enjoyed themselves. Our driver Louis was amazing. He was wonderful, friendly, patient, & attentive to our ever changing needs. He called me early in the day to touch base with me. The open communication and excellent customer service was absolutely appreciated. The bus was clean, beautiful and comfortable. I would and will use them again in the future. read more

Hours late on pick-up day1 and we missed our tee-time. 1 hour late on pick-up day 2. Bus had trash all over it. The whole bus smelled like urine. 3 days of calling to get a response from customer service had gone unrequited. Day 4 when I spoke to Danielle, the response was that the supervisor "Could not do anything" which I translated to "Does not want to do anything". Never use this company. read more

I wanted to share a very positive experience with AA getaway coaches. From start to finish, everything was great. I was able to book on the phone after seeing pictures on their website. Corina emailed our contract. The vehicle arrived on time and was spacious, neat and clean. The driver (Vinny) was very respectful, and was engaging and fun as well. He got us to our destination with time to spare, and even offered to take a group photo outside the venue. I'm so glad he did, it was the only picture of the entire group that day! The bus got late for an hour and 30 min Had 50 kids waiting outside. The driver was rude. The dispatch was also rude and told me if you don't like it you can cancel it. Or take not 5 hours as it was book, take 4 and he will refund me for the 1 hour. And they knew in the beginning that it will be huge delay, because they had wedding before and no one knows how long it will be?? In this case you don't use same bus, you should provide another one. It's called greedy!!! Dirty business. Not recommend. The same company was used for my kids friends and it was delays as well. But the most I am aware was 45 min, not an hour and a half!!! They did not even apologize. And after the driver gets tipped for $150.00 he demanded more money!!! And was not moving till he get it. They taking advantage of the kids. read more

I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS BUT AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE WOULD LIKE TO WARN OTHER BRIDES: The bus showed up with ZERO air conditioning on a day where the weather was 90+ degrees. Although the bus driver tried hard to fix and tried to be more accommodating, he was unsuccessful. Because of the problems on the bus we were a half hour late to my wedding, and AN HOUR late to my reception (I missed the cocktail hour in which I paid extra money for). I had three pregnant bridesmaids and 5 young children on the bus. Two of the kids passed out due to heat exhaustion and dehydration (all which my photographer captured so we had pictures and even sent them to the bus company). My hair and makeup was completely off because of the heat and sweat from the bus. There was a baby who couldn't get on that hot of a bus so my father in law had to rent a car to drive him and then couldn't travel with the rest of the bridal party. Basically, it almost ruined the day and I was told another bus would be sent to my house this way the drive back wasn't as awful- and that bus never showed up. Also, the best was when I called the company and they said said, "we thought the AC problem had been fixed" so they knew it had a problem and still sent that bus (which also had ripped seats and moved throughout the ride because they were broken). After I reached out for some type of money back or a simple apology they could have cared less as they already had my money. Its a shame because a simple apology and I would have never written this review. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. read more

Hired aa getaways for my wedding in September. I dealt with diamond who is such a sweetheart and made sure everything was accurate. The day of they had a scheduling issue but quickly fixed everything and even upgraded one of my limos for free! The drivers were EXTREMELY helpful and kind. .THIS IS MY FIRST YELP REVIEW EVER! I HAD TO WRITE IT BECUASE I AM SO ENRAGEDI used this company on Saturday to go to the Guns and roses concert. There were 24 of us going to it so I booked the 24 passenger bus. It was very affordable for 6 hours. The sales girl Diamond was lovely and very professional. The day of the concert the driver REGGIE was on time and the bus was nice. Once we got on the bus and got going we noticed it was very hot on the bus. We asked the REGGIE to turn on the AC he said it was on. It was an extremely hot day on Saturday it was 99 degrees out. So you can imagine how hot a bus with windows that don't open, no AC and 24 passengers could be. During the ride some of the guys started smoking on the bus. I immediately said they could not smoke on the bus. The guys then turned around and said the bus driver said they could smoke. When I asked the driver he said they could and he would have the manager turn the cameras off, as long as I gave him his tip upfront. I asked him if I would be penalized for people smoking on the bus he said no as long as the camera was turned off. So I gave him $180. he then said he would need $70 more because he needed to give some of it to the manager to turn the cameras off. At this point I was like this is ridiculous, but all the guys proceeded to give him the extra tip. I then asked him for the second time, I won't get charged for it? He said no he would clean the bus and air it out. The next day I got a call from Reggie. He wanted to make sure I told the management I only tipped him $150 and that he said it wasn't ok to smoke. I then checked my bank account and I was charged $800. I called the bus company and they said they charged me for cleaning up the bus because there were cigarette butts everywhere. I then told them what happened and they were surprised to hear the bus driver told me it was ok but basically it was on me and I shouldn't have listened to the bus driver. I then spoke to a manager named Dominic who was very rude and condescending towards me within the first 5 min of the conversation. That's when I asked him if he was the manager on Saturday. He said he was on duty. So I put two and two together this is obviously the manager who was paid off to turn the cameras off. He said they would write the driver up but couldn't do anything about my charges. They wouldn't even discount for not having AC. This company promotes their employees shaking down the customers and the penalty for doing so is a slap on the wrist. I am so disgusted and would not reccomend anyone to this company. They are crooks. They also go buy the name my Nyc party bus and Brooklyn prom party bus. read more

If I could give them 0 Stars I would!!! Rude, calling me and my daughter a liar My daughter booked a 14 passenger bus for her prom this past Saturday. Pick up from Prom take to afterparty and then drive them out to my home in Amagansett. I have a contract that states the route. That night when bus came to pick them up, bus driver told my daughter he wasn't supposed to wait for her to go to afterparty. Just drive her out to Amagansett. My daughter called me hysterically crying. I spoke to bus driver WHOM I DO NOT BLAME HE WAS THE ONLY NICE COURTEOUS CARING PERSON IN THIS STORY. He was told that he was not supposed to wait for them at afterparty. and was told to dump and i say DUMP all of their belongings on the side of lawn and leave them there stranded with no ride to AMAGANSETT. I said can I please talk to dispatcher as it was after hours. Bus Driver informed me that Dispatcher refused to speak with me and in fact, Bus driver was getting reamed out for even speaking with me. AA GETAWAY COACHES wanted him to stand my daughter and friends without even speaking to me to try and resolve situation. I being a desperate mother at 12 a.m. asked what I needed to do to get them to their final destination. Bus Driver said I needed to have and Extra 600 CASH plus the 900 we originally booked for My daughter ran out to bus gave him balance of 900 owed (650) as we gave a deposit and I had to run to cash machine to get cash so when bus driver arrived he would have it Plus Gratuity. When I called This morning to discuss situation -- the man who answered phone said my daughter was a liar, and what kind of games were we trying to play and that we never booked the trip the way it was presented as he need would have took job. He hung up on me when I informed him that dispatcher told to leave all bags on side of the road and dump my daughter there . Disgusting customer service wouldn't even have decency to talk to me started screaming at me saying something about sending me my daughter's texts PLEASE I WARN U DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IT WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR MY DAUGHTER'S SENIOR PROM IN WESTCHESTER MASTERS SCHOOL PS I GRACIOUSLY TIPPED DRIVER 300 AS I WAS GRATEFUL HE BROUGHT MY DAUGHTER AND FRIENDS OUT TO ME SAFELY.
