To celebrate my 25th birthday my friends and I spent the weekend at a cabin in the woods. I decided to use this company for transportation to and from the cabin. Kim was a pleasure to speak to. A few days before the trip she called to make sure that everything was good to go. On Friday night our driver John was very early which was great. He helped us with all of our luggage (we had a group of 13). The limo was huge, clean, and decorated with balloons for my birthday. The bar was also stocked. The only minor hiccup that we had was when one of my friends almost got left behind. I spoke to Kim about another stop that we would have to make to pick up my friend in Manhattan and I gave the address and everything but I'm not too sure what happened. Once we let John know that we were missing a person, he pulled over by the Washington Bridge and I was able to call a cab for my friend so that he could meet us at the limo. Besides that, everything was great, ride was fun and the party lights were a nice touch. On Sunday afternoon John was there once more to pick us up and take us back home. Once again he helped with loading all of the big bags into the limo. It was a smaller limo on the way back but we all still fit. We made a stop by Lake Superior for pictures and he was very patient about that too. All and all it was an awesome trip. My friends and I had a great time. Just wanted to post a warning about the driver Max. This past weekend we had a wedding and he demanded we pay him cash on a bill that was already squared with a credit card. We paid him in cash just so we wouldn't be late to our destination. After clarifying this information with John (claimed the owner) who clearly stated that the money owed would go onto the credit card that was already provided, he STILL tried to give back only some of the cash payment and hold onto money for himself! I was looking for a limo company for point to point service to surprise a friend of mine for her birthday. Of course I decided to look the week of, and during the holidays (I know, I know, super irresponsible!). After reaching out to many companies, I was answered promptly by Kim via email with a quote. Lucky for me, someone had cancelled and they had availability me that evening! She answered all my emails quickly, and then I called, put down the deposit and was told I can pay the evening of, including tip which was up to me. I found this interesting as many companies usually include it as a mandatory part of payment (some people can be cheap), but it felt nice to be able to decide on my own if service was great or not. I originally had the limo for 10 PM, changed it to 10:15 the day before. I asked for a call/text half an hour before he showed (this was a surprise), and didn't receive one. When I called about 20 minutes in advance, our driver picked up and let me know he was around the corner and could pull up as soon as we were ready. We came down, surprised our friend, and got in. It was BEAUTIFUL. Glasses were all setup, tons of water, and a full bar. Unfortunately they didn't have mixers, but we just stopped at the store and picked up. I rather have the alcohol than the mixers anyway! We were able to easily hook up our music to the back, and enjoy our drive to the city. DO NOT HIRE! Beware almost 1.5 hours late no apologies no consideration fabricated lies. I hired JT limo for my daughter's sweet sixteen on October 8, 2017 for 3 hours with agreed 2 pick ups and 2 drop offs. The limo arrived almost 1.5 hours late for both pick ups making 21 people, late including my daughter and the rest of the party, all missing pictures, almost missing being able to walk out with the family and the court and not allowing me, the host to be at the venue for final preparations as I had to wait for the limo. After I tried to communicate with Kim from JT limo as time went by without the limo showing up, she was barely communicative and when she did reply via text only, she asked for the location of the drop off and time of the party although all this was already agreed to prior; she advised that the driver was stuck in traffic and "If the car is late a little bit I will work it out with you with the price , my driver is telling me it's moving extremely slow and he left very early . I don't want you to stress he is on the way. What time does party start". When Karl the driver did show up almost 1.5 hours late for the 1st pick up, he advised that the original driver never showed, that he, Karl, was a replacement driver, he did not receive any details as to where to drop off was. Karl also had no clue that he had another group to pick up to bring to the venue so he waited around at the venue needlessly making the 2nd group even more late. Having said that Karl the driver was a very nice man who tried to do his best while his company did not give him instructions, addresses other than the initial pick up that he was instructed to go to last minute. Basically, JT limo and Kim ruined my daughter's party and they made 21 people arrive over 1.5 hours late, forced me recruit others last minute to run over to the venue to take care of things I should have been there for but could not because I had to wait at home for the late limo, we all missed pictures, and the stress caused needlessly due to their negligence, bad planning and ultimate lies, which are unacceptable. To add insult to injury, when I asked Kim not to charge my account fully for the service I finally did receive an email from her as follows:"Good morning, I think it's best for you to speak to owner since the way you spoke about me and cursed me out was not necessary. I was trying to help you , I was not the one driving, I gave you a extremely reasonable price to work with you from beginning, but when a customer feels the need to abuse me , I will have the owner call you when he gets in. As the contract states we are not help responsible for things beyond our control. You still used the service. I'm not sure what amount was charged, he can answer that for you .Kim JT LIMOUSINE" The above is a complete lie.There was not one raised voice as I never had a chance even to speak with Kim as she never picked up the phone or returned my phone calls during the prolonged wait, there was not one abusive or mean spirited email or text sent from me or anyone interested party , therefore this is a fabrication which seems to be a modus operandi this company uses to deliver terrible service and under the guise of "traffic issues that are beyond their control" that is baked into the contract and alleging that a client spoke badly to "Kim", they try to cover themselves to then go ahead and charge accounts without express authorization which in this case they did. I called the company asked to speak to the owner, however no one replies ; it goes to voicemail. I left a message asking for the owner to return my call; no reply but they were quick to charge my account the additional $325, which I did not authorize, in addition to the $50 deposit. read more

Booked this company for my daughters Prom, price was great but they showed up an hour late, then driver did not have the correct credentials and he had to drop all the kids next door to the venue of the prom and they had to walk. The kids missed their entire cocktail hour, all the parents were annoyed with me and this company never called to apologize never offered us a partial monetary reimbursement. I used JT Limousine for my twin daughters' proms on two separate nights. I first spoke to Kim who is knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Kin goes out of her way to pair you up with the service that you need and follows up on every detail. She is meticulous! I then met Richard who drove my daughters to the first prom. He was so kind and reassuring. He gave my husband and I his cell number, he introduced himself to everyone and made my daughters and their friends feel very comfortable m. They had a wonderful time with him as their driver. The limo was a beautiful, classy stretch and everyone loved it! Our second prom is tonight and John drove. He is extremely professional and attentive to the kids. He came tonight in a gorgeous super stretch and he could not do enough for everyone. Horrible experience!!! Do not book, they are unprofessional.they came two hours late to pick my guest up, we were going to Atlantic city. When I called the next day to discuss my experience, they ignored my phone call. I am still waiting for a a phone call, a month later .I am in the process of filing a case at small claims court. Save the headache in the advance, cheapest is not always the best. There are plenty of good limo companies , do not book this shady one. I dealt with Kim to book, she seem all nice and professional in the beginning but when my limo was late and I wanted an update, she did not respond to me, I have not heard from her since she took my money. !!! Highly recommended!!!!! Booked this company for my 50th birthday. We had the best time !! The driver showed up 30 minutes early. The car was just like the pictures the bar was fully stocked as promised except there was no soda but the driver stopped for us on the way so we could get some .. JT Limo is the worst limo service I ever encountered. They were late picking us up and then lied about the reason, which was that the limo broke down. Then they sent another limo which the driver was not so friendly and had no idea how to operate the limo we were in. Before we left they told us that the limo did not break down, the driver never showed up for work. The dispatcher told us not to tip the driver well because they are and I quote "already paying him big bucks". We could not believe a company could say and do something like that to an employee. As we were on the road, we did not know how to work anything because the driver never showed us! He then yelled at us because our music was too loud but we did not know how to change the speakers! Half way through our trip the limo overheated TWICE and we pulled over to the side of the road. He then asked us what should he do? How the hell do we know. We don't drive for a living. He insisted on telling us this wasn't his limo (why was he not using his limo???). He laughed and and kept asking us what he should do. For someone who drives people for a living, they should know the basics. The driver took us to a gas station where he basically left us stranded. He didn't try and find a way for us to get to our destination or contact his boss so we can speak to him directly. Thankfully we were able to find this amazing car service in New Jersey called "Dependable taxi and car service", they literally saved our lives and got us to our destination! I am not one to write negative reviews or to complain online in general (in fact this is my first Yelp review). But after the day that I and my coworkers experienced due to JT Limo a review is necessary! Our car was supposed to arrive At 10 am sharp to drive us to Atlantic city for a fun girls trip. At 10:05 am, there was no car outside and they had not contacted us. After calling, we were informed that the car had "broken down". We were told that another car was on the way. This car did not arrive until 12. About 40 or so miles into the trip, the car overheated. We waited outside of the car for it it to cool down, loaded back in, only for the car to overheat minutes later. We were offered no suggestions or solutions by the driver or owner and were already late for our trip. We loaded into the car one final time and were dropped off at a QuickCheck (somewhere in jersey). It was clearly an unsafe vehicle that had not been serviced and was not in driving condition for a trip of that distance. The driver (although it wasn't directly his fault) was not apologetic or understanding of the situation and the owner did not accept responsibility, apologize or offer to cover our alternate transportation to AC. It was a terrible experience and the customer service was nonexistent. I would skip this limo service. read more

Horrible, horrible experience. I booked JT limo 2 weeks before our event and was guaranteed a 10am pick up in queens to go to Atlantic city. I called to confirm 3 times before and was assured all was set. At 10am , our vehicle had not arrived. I called, texted and emailed. The dispatcher called back at 1005, explaining that the vehicle broke down and another was on the way. Our new ride arrived at noon, 2 hours late. The car was dirty, full of sand. The driver did not know how to work the radio. Once we figured out how to work the radio, he asked us to lower it so he could hear his navigation. None of this was that bad. Believe it or not - we were still in good spirits. Then the car overheated. I called the owner 4 times. No response. I knew he was talking to the driver. His advice to the driver - "get them to AC." After 2 pull overs on the highway and a lot of smoke being exerted, we pulled over at a gas station. The owner, John Torres, told the driver he would reimburse us for the rest of our trip to AC. The driver left. Disappeared. Left us with our luggage. The owner did not answer calls or texts. Dependable taxi car service out of Howell NJ came to our rescue. John finally called me back and refused to pick up their cost so I told him I would post this review. I am not typically one to complain and understand when things go wrong. It's how a company responds that shows the character and integrity of their business. JT limousine is an embarrassment and I urge you to consider using anyone else in lieu of them. I can't believe this company has any positive reviews. First of all, the limo was supposed to pick us up at 10am. At 10:05 we called the owner and were told the car broke down. They said they were sending another car, but it wouldn't arrive until 11:30. That's an hour and a half into our driving time (we were going to Atlantic city) and that's already a big deal. Next, we talk to the dispatcher who said the original car didn't really break down, but the driver just never showed up. Ok fine. Finally the car shows up. not only do we have weak air conditioning (it's the end of July) but the driver also told us to lower our music. WHAT????!!!!! 40 miles into the 100 mile ride, the limo started smoking. We pulled over and ended up stranded on the side of a highway. The driver was trying to shrug this off like a joke, saying he didn't know what was wrong or what to do about this. Meanwhile, the owner of the company JOHN just told him to "get the people to Atlantic city." Um HOW?! In a smoking, dirty (there was sand on the seats from a previous party) vehicle?!?!? Finally the driver drives us to the nearest gas station and basically disappears. We were left with our luggage somewhere in New Jersey and a broken limo. Once we FINALLY got ahold of the owner, he was disgusting on the phone. Offering no real solution, horrible and unprofessional customer service. If I could I would give ZERO stars. WORST NIGHTMARE EVER. As a bride whose big day was nearly RUINED as a result of booking this limo service, I feel it is my duty to STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST IT. Don't always trust all the positive reviews you see (that was my mistake) because chances are they're eliminating the negative ones. Go by other people's recommendations if they're available to you. This limo service is not at all professional and doesn't care about how badly it screws you over. Here's my sad story: I had booked JT Limousine out of Brooklyn well over a month before my wedding day. I had a contract set up right away, and paid my deposit. No problems. I called a couple days before the wedding just to again confirm the time for pick-up, and to make sure everything would be on-schedule. This also went smoothly. The problem occurred when I walked down to the front of the hotel to wait for the limo, fully decked out in my bridal attire--gown, bouquet, shoes, jewelry, and pounds of makeup...in nasty July heat. My 4 equally as uncomfortable bridesmaids and I were looking forward to stepping into the spacious, air conditioned limo that would take us to the church. 5 minutes pass by and the limo still hasn't arrived. I figured it got stuck in some traffic--I was, after all, located in New Jersey. I decided to call just to be safe. I called non-stop multiple times and NO ONE answered my call. At this point I was panicking because I knew that even if the limo showed up within a few minutes, I'd be a little late. I kept calling, and still no luck. Really?? By the time someone picked up, my mother was pulling up to the hotel curb so we could all pile into her small car and rush to the church. The guy on the other end of the phone sounded flustered and incompetent. He actually had the nerve to tell me to call back later! LATER?! I had to tell him the deal was off, I was already very late to my own wedding and quite clearly couldn't afford to lose more time. Feeling like a Grade A loser, I crammed my messy, sweaty self into my mother's car along with my bridesmaids. I'll take a second to mention that I was very lucky here--could you imagine this happening to a bride with a larger bridal party?! It wouldn't have worked. As my mother was forced to drive us to the church, running red lights and screaming at other drivers, I was irate--not to mention I was having a huge anxiety attack. That's not something a bride should have to go through on the way to one of the happiest events of her life, am I right? We finally showed up 20 minutes late to the church, and I began to cry from the stress--not from happiness or normal nerves--FROM LIMOUSINE SERVICE INDUCED TRAUMA. Could have been worse, but I don't think I deserved that. Basically, in addition to majorly inconveniencing us all and putting everyone under unnecessary amounts of emotional stress, JT Limousine Inc. EMBARRASSED the living daylights out of me in front of all of my friends and family. The best part is when I called the service after my wedding to inquire about what had happened (and also to tell them they'd be denied the deposit I'd paid). The woman in the office, whose name I won't write here, was apologetic. But her apologies were not enough to outweigh the massive amounts of bullsh*t with which she showered me. I asked her why this happened, and she told me the limo had indeed been stuck in traffic. Okay, fine! But why was I not notified of this at the time, when we were all waiting around the hotel lobby like fools looking for a limo? GET THIS, GUYS--the limo driver never called the office to tell them he was stuck in traffic. SORRY, not buying it! Now JT Limo is just insulting my intelligence. This woman gave excuse after excuse. These people drive for a living. Obviously they factor in traffic time and contact people when things go wrong. I also told the coordinator that the rest of my day was really messed up (transportation to the venue, pictures!, ETC.), but JT Limo never even offered to make it up to me in any way.
