He spent some time reviewing the back of the fridge and he concluded there was nothing noticeably wrong and recommended I unplug it and deep clean it again to help air out the smell. He believes this fridge is nearing its end (I've had it for around six years). I paid and that was that. The problem is that when I emptied out the fridge, specifically the freezer, I saw black dust or streaks (not noticed the last I deep cleaned). A quick Google search and a family friend who is a handyman shared that it may be an electrical issue.
