I recently had a wonderful experience repairing my LG stacking washer with AAA Appliance Repair. My washer was leaking, and my go-to appliance repair in Sonoma couldn't help me promptly. They suggested TeeVax in Santa Rosa, but TeeVax doesn't repair LG or Samsung appliances. TeeVax referred me to AAA Appliance Repair. AAA Appliance Repair's owner, Armando Olivas, answered my call in the late afternoon. He said, "I'll be there in 45 minutes." He arrived on time, removed the dryer using a lift device, made the necessary repairs on the washer, and performed minor maintenance. Honest and quick. Had a problem with my refrigerator and that's not a time where you want to wait for a callback. Armando was the only one who actually picked up the phone when I called. Also the only place open before 8am. Unfortunately the fridge was not salvageable but at least his diagnosis was reasonable at $60. Great service. Quick response. Really nice guy. Our Samsung dryer stopped working during these holidays, which is the peak time when all our children were home. I happened to call Armando (in a panic); to my surprise he was available to take a look the same day. He showed up promptly and after initial debugging explained exactly what was wrong with the dryer. The heater had gone bad and he quoted a price to replace the heater, which he had in his truck. He changed the heater and got the dryer fixed. As a bonus, he fixed the washer hose leak for free - it was not part of the job. I contacted Armando based on recommendations from a local neighborhood social media page. I texted him and he was quick to reply back with a phone call. I explained the problem and he said he could probably come by the next day but needed to check his schedule and call me back. He also asked that I text him again with a reminder of what we discussed so he would remember the context of the call, which I did. He never called back. I reached out to him again two days later thinking he might have deleted our text and didn't have my contact or what we discussed and again he never replied and ignored me. It's been over a week now and he straight up ghosted me for no apparent reason. No explanation, nothing. One minute he was planning to swing by, the next he was gone. The first company I called, located about a two-minute drive from my house, wanted $90 just for the "service call and travel time" plus $120 an hour. AAA Appliance Repair, located 40 minutes away, charges only $60 for the service call. Armando was able to fit me in the day after I called. He confirmed my morning appointment and arrived right on time. He gave me some good advice about my 30-year-old washing machine, adjusting it to last a little longer while I shopped for a new one. He even adjusted my barely functioning bifold doors to make them fit better. He was professional and super polite. I would call him again. We moved from Phelan and needed to convert our gas dryer from propane back to gas. Couldn't find the part anywhere. Called AAA yesterday and Mary had me set up with an appt by 4 pm the same day.
