I have been a member of AAA for well over 20+ years. Most recently, I had one of the worse experiences ever with AAA. My waiting time was reported to be less than 1 hour, this turned out to be 2 1/2 hours. I live in the city and it was suggested that if I didn't want to wait that I could leave my keys. WHAT, a sports car, living in the city, leave the key! I was late for work, missed three appointments scheduled that day due to the inefficiency, ineffectiveness and total disregard for solution focused, customer service principles.... My neighbor called the towing company directly while I was on the phone with customer service manager - a tow truck was on its way, AAA "do you see the truck, it's right in front of your house" - response, "nope, it isn't" AAA, they say they are right there" "ahhh no they aren't" ... I know what a tow truck looks like - sure it was right there, sent to the wrong address... the entire experience makes me think once, twice, three times as to whether I will renew with AAA in the future. I give it minus three stars.... just seems to be the way - where has customer service gone? read more

I have never had a bad experience at AAA Burlington. They are a fully staffed office of helpful and courteous human beings. Short lines, no listening to 9 options, no calls being dropped. I recommend it 100%. Suggest you check it out if you haven't already. read more

I was in your office getting movie tickets and met with Gizele. She was wonderful! She was trying to get me to sign up for the AAA Visa card. She showed me the benefits and how to earn points by a points calculator she had on her computer. Didn't realize what a wonderful program you had until she explained it! Hats off to Gizele, she was pleasant and friendly and easy to understand!!! I love visiting your office in Burlington! Not so happy regarding your road service help! Needs to improve in arrival time! Three hours was unacceptable to wait for a tow at night in the dark! Not happy about that! Seems like if you need a battery you guys jump for them first! Its more money in your pocket. Went 30 minutes out of my way to go to AAA office in Burlington. I live in Acton MA, and have found the service at the local AAA office there (Acton MA) sorely disappointing - long waits and then misinformation compounded by further delays and communication difficulties when trying to get things straightened out. Perhaps they're overloaded by more people with international travel concerns, not sure. But anyway, I have given up on even trying with them. Meanwhile, AAA in Burlington has always been easy-in, easy-out for the basics such as obtaining maps and guidebooks. Way-to-go Burlington office! read more

I just wanted to take the time out to thank AAA in Burlington. I was on the Southern New England AAA website trying to book at trip however I was running into issues with the web site. I called the Burlington office and Roberta was able to help me book the rental car ever so quickly. She asked about my trip and I explained where I was going and when. She ended up helping me book the hotel and putting a trip tix together for me. The service was stellar and friendly!! Roberta put my travel plans in the mail and the very next day I had my whole trip laid out in front of me. The travel package she put together was very thorough and will certainly be helpful. Went for my driver's license renewal. Short 5 person line, processed everyone in about 20 minutes. Sure beats 3 hours in line at the Registry! Friendly testing person and no issues on getting the word Veteran on my new license (brought DD214 form to get this done) and since I had cataract surgery, I no longer had a glasses restriction---and it removed at the same time the word Veteran was added. I'll be back for registration renewal next year. read more

I visited this location to get my driver's license renewed on a Monday at about 11:30 am . I haven't been to an RMV site in quite a while, so it is hard to compare. BUT, there was a line over an hour long. There was only 1 seat for everyone standing and that seat was at the beginning of the line. The experience could be improved by adding seats along the wall where everyone was standing. Or they could have a 'take-a-ticket' so people could get a ticket and come back in an hour. But the service was friendly and rather efficient. If there were more agents to do license renewal, that would also help. From reading other reviews, it seems like my experience was an anomaly. read more

I have had AAA for almost 25 years and I love it. I have used guides, gotten movie passes, discounts on amusement parks, and have been rescued by their roadside assistance countless times, even as far away as Fairbanks, Alaska. It is completely worth it. Currently the Burlington, MA office is the most convenient for me to stop into and the people there have always been pleasant and willing to help out with my requests. Some of the information in the guide books could be updated more and should cover some places in more detail. We couldn't figure out why for Nantucket Island only a handful of places are listed including some that did not meet AAA rating requirements. It seems that they could have each of the Islands have their own separate booklet. Ten years ago on a road trip across country, their guides were essential for finding campgrounds and did not seem that far off from our experiences at all. read more

I went to the Burlington Office and picked up an International Driving license, also photos for Visa as I'm traveling to Africa. Was told I could pick up Shillings as well if I planned to visit 3 days before and they would give me the going rate. I did not know that they did that. The service was fast, informative, and very helpful. I used the service to have a flat tire fixed on Christmas morning and the truck came in less than 1/2 hour on a frigid morning and had me going in no time. Needed Euros for a trip to Ireland mid April 2014. Called AAA to see options & told they have $100.00 "prepaks" of Euros. My fault for not thoroughly checking the current exchange rate but not until after I'd written my payment check did I notice that the prepaks were packaged in mid December 2013, four months prior. I could easily have gone to Bank of Amer at Burlington Mall and when I got home and checked I found I'd paid about a 9% premium above current rates. read more

I went to this location to sign up for E-ZPass and the procedure was simple and fast. I expected a wait, but it did not occur. I also asked about summer passes for parks and was given a detailed listing all the discounts you can receive from AAA. I highly recommend this location. Always helpful. I was there getting an International Drivers Permit ( in fact it is hardly needed for driving in Europe). I asked for AAA counterparts in Austria, Switzerland etc. in case I need them for anything. While they wouldn't tow for free but the staff at Burlington took the time to look in her system and found me some similar auto club websites in those countries. I strongly believe that AAA should consider tie up with such clubs overseas to offer reciprocating benefits which will be a great thing for all club members here and for them as well. read more

Made Airline reservation without a seat selection and was told I could not do it without getting to airport, private bus hotel service at destination took us one hour to get service.... 3 hours I had to wait for a simple jump start... I called at 9:15PM...was told 30 to 45 minutes, standard, no issue there. AN hour later after not hearing anything I called back...Told it would be another hour, as they are very busy but only have one driver, yet offered 3 different types of trucks to be sent out to me? Ok whatever, not too big of a deal...well after another hour of not hearing anything, I call back...it's now about 11:30 and they still haven't arrived...FOR A JUMP START THAT TAKES 5 MINUTES AT MOST. I am then told that it will be ANOTHER half hour to 45 minutes...SO yeah I effing lost it because I'd been waiting over 2 hours for a simple thing...No idea why I'm paying for this when I could have waited around for free...The rep put a supervisor on the line once they realized how pissed i was, the supervisor proceeded to be the most ignorant piece of garbage, completely rude, and overall worthless. What is the point of the Supervisors position if they can literally do less than the reps? Forget this place, I've been a member for 27 years but I'm pretty much done with them. The only thing that sucks is they've monopolized the market so there aren't any other services like them that are practical, so it's not like this review or any other negative review will do anything... read more

I was at AAA Burlington Location yesterday to purchase some gift cards for the hotel guests. I am a general manager at a local hotel and I have a company credit card with Hotels' name on it. The lady at the cashier hesitated to use the hotel credit card. I showed her my name tag, my business card and told her that she could call the hotel to verify who I am. I sure understand her concern and I appreciated her being cautious. This lady's name is Cathy Lombard. She told me that she should not have to do that and instead I should use my personal credit card and ask for reimbursement from my company. She could not be bothered!!! What a response... She did not stop She also asked me the name of my boss under her glasses. I gave her his name like it matters... she told me to bring an email from him next time if I want to use this credit card again there!!! When I told her that I didn't appreciate the way she was treating me. She cut me short and told me that she did not cancel the transaction and she was still giving me the gift cards... so basically she was doing me a favor!! I have never seen such a bad customer service. This was insulting. I have been a member of AAA for years and I should not have to be treated like this...So upsetting! read more
