Marc quoted one price of $75 per bike for diagnostics, picked up the bikes, and then we could not get ahold of him for days. Once we got ahold of him, we decided to not go through with new bike batteries, which were quoted at $599 each. Marc agreed to drop the bikes back off. (This was still a struggle to get him to respond to agree on a time to drop them off) Marc then sent me an invoice, including $204 of "storage fees" for the time he had the bikes in his shop. We never agreed or knew about any "Storage Fees". After arguing with Marc and threatening to report the bikes as stolen, he complied to drop them off and I paid what I owed (75 per bike). They should rename this company "FFF Bike Repair." Less than two months ago, I paid $500 to have e-bike brakes installed. I recently learned from another e-bike repair service that the brakes installed were off-market, inferior quality, and improperly installed. As a result, I had to spend another $300 to replace them with Shimano brand brakes. Paying $500 for brakes that were not properly installed -- and then having to pay again to fix the problem -- is unacceptable. Like many other customers - I got ghosted. Stay away from this guy. The series of events as they unfolded: Wed, May 6: I called AAA E-bike repair to see if they could work on my two Shaka e-bikes. One needed a simple hydraulic break blead/replenish. The other one an electrical problem. Marc called me back requesting photos - I sent via text the same day. Fri, May 8: I have not heard from Marc, so I text him asking if he will be able to work on the ebike. He texts back "Yes". I text back right away, "awesome, when would you like me to bring them in." No response. Mon, May 11: I follow up asking when to bring in the bike. He replies "tomorrow". We settle on Wed, May 13. Wed, May 13: I meet him at his "shop", which is really just a storage garage. No employees, so he must just meets people there to drop off and pick up bikes. We review what needs to be done again, and he says he will give me feedback "in a couple of days" (which would be Friday). Fri, May 15. No word from Marc. I figure he is busy, so I will wait until after the weekend. Tue, May 19. Still no response from Marc, so I text asking for an update. No response. Wed, May 20. Send another text asking for an update. No response. Thu, May 21. I call Marc for an update. He NEVER answers his phone anymore. Later in the day, he texts me saying "let me give you an update at 5". I respond "sound good, thank you". He never calls or texts me at or after 5pm. Fri, May 22. Send Marc a text asking for an update, and call him as well. Does not respond to either. Now we are headed into Memorial Day Weekend, so I figure there is no way I will hear from him over the long weekend. Tue, May 26. Call Marc and send him a text asking for an update. He responds saying "I can't figure them out, can you come by and pick them up later today." At this point, I just want to get my bikes back, so I respond telling him I will need to leave work to get my bike rack. I do that and text him again around noon, saying I can be there at 12:30 - does that work? - no response. I then suggest 1:00pm - no response. I call several times and text. Finally he responds "Dave, I'll be there at 4." I confirm. I arrive at 3:37 and text him saying I am here. 4:15 I text him asking for his ETA. He responds "4:31". Then a few minutes later he responds saying he left his keys in Irvine, he can either meet me later or tomorrow. I respond immediately asking what "later" means. No response. I wait at his shop for 1 hour and then leave with no response. I also try calling him, but he NEVER picks up his phone. I then text him asking what time he wants to meet tomorrow morning, he responds, "11". Wed, May 27. We both show up at his shop at 11. He is very dismissive, just opens the garage, gets out my bikes and says "sorry I could not figure this out". I say that's OK, and tell him he just really needs to be more responsive. I then ask him if he realizes that his lack of communication is a chronic issue (many complaints on Yelp and even BBB). He then looks square at me and says "you are NOT my customer". No kidding. He then follows up by telling me how he cannot work on these "3rd party bikes". I ask him why he did not say that in the first place. We parted ways. Three weeks of no work, and no communication. So glad this nightmare is over. read more

Could never find out if/when the shop was open or status of the "repair". Over 30 days called 15 plus times with never a reply, and finally showed up at 10:30 on 12/18 and he told me he'd be back at 12:00-then saw him leave and come back after 2 hours ! I sat in front of his shop waiting, Found out he (Marc) hadn't done a thing-took bike back. No communication as he ghosted me and held my bike hostage for 4 days. He was an authorized dealer vetted by the Lectric bike company and at first seemed like a professional. I had 2 separate issues with the bike that was covered through warranty. My 1st interaction with him in July 2025 was great. On time for the mobile appt, fixed the controller, and was pleasant. So when I had a second issue on Jan 6 I chose him again. He was only a few minutes late for the mobile appt and ready to work but we had discovered another issue that required new parts. He took my bike with him in his new Cybertruck and said he would also reach out to Lectric. Lectric confirmed his shop address as they were sending the parts directly to him. Parts arrived on Jan 13 so I scheduled the appt for Jan 17. Sadly, he did not show up nor respond to my daily follow up text and phone messages over the next 4 days. I presume with the help of Lectric bike, he finally dropped off the bike on Wednesday Jan. 21 and gave some excuse. Please, just be honest and respectful by letting your customers know what's up? I'm unsure what changed his behavior from my first interaction with him. It's disappointing and unfortunate because he seemed like a cool guy. Marc was able to resolve all my issues with my two bikes even though they were not brand name ones. He replaced my mechanical brakes with hydraulic ones, tune up, fender fixed and a rear tire tube replacement. He did all this with a cable lock through the front tires as I forgot the key at my camp trailer thirty miles away from him. He was very good with communication via texting. I decided to get a second opinion and picked up the bike, only to find that the controller had been removed. Afterward, the repair person stopped responding to my calls and messages. When I confronted him at his 'workshop'--which is actually just a garage--he kept changing his story, saying he had either thrown the controller out or that he didn't have it anymore. It felt like one excuse after another. We eventually had to involve the police, who are now investigating. This has been a nightmare, and I would strongly advise against trusting this business.
