While I do most of my own bike work, I needed some work done to my fork and I lacked a tool I needed. I really didnt have a go.to sho so when I noticed this one...I figured I'd give them a shot. I'm really glad I walked in. They were extremely friendly and because I wasn't in dire need of the fork, I just left it assuming I'd hear back in a couple of weeks which seems to be the norm. I was literally texted later in the day saying the fork was ready!! Amazing turn around and at a very fair price. I highly recommend these guys!! read more

Andrew @ The Bike House was amazing to suggest some upgrades to my six-month old Specialized StumpJumper EVO. In addition, repairing my bent rear wheel and minor mechanical tuning. Told it would be a few days, waiting for a part to arrive, which Andrew and Diego ordered for me. stoked that The Bike House took me in right away, having driven from Oceanside. I purchased a specialized mountain bike from a shop out of state. I put it together myself, but the front disc just constantly rubbed against the brake pad. I tried everything to fix the annoying sound, so I took it to The bike house to fix it. When I returned to pick it back up the same day I dropped it off he refused to charge me, said it was an easy fix. Wow, who does that anymore. These guys do, plus I have been in numerous times in the past with great results, and I'm picky!! read more

Great experience, Saturday after noon was out for a ride on my bike. Came Out from lunch to find I had a flat. Was a few blocks a way and pushed my bike to The Bike House, they gave me a great quote said give them 20 minutes and the bike would be done. Came back and the problem Was resolved. read more

My experience with this business was nothing less than wonderful! Put in bids on Yelp, Diego from The Bike House answered and replied to all of my questions promptly. To be honest, the other bike repair services might have gotten my business if they were as prompt in their replies. Some left me hanging on read, while Diego was on top of all inquiries. So he definitely got my go ahead and I'm so glad he did. The next morning he came and picked up my son's e-bike. We went over what needed to be done and he was off on his way. He said he would deliver it the next morning, which I was pleasantly surprised, especially it would be in New Years Eve. He brought the bike back as promised on the morning of NYE and his work was on-time, thorough, and excellent. He even gave it a wash or good wipe down because it was shiny and like new! Incredible Bike Shop, Diego the owner assisted me personally, he delivered my Bike upon completion, even offered a pick up service when I first called in. He was prompt to reply, kept me updated every step of the way, tuned the bike at no additional charge, and had a tall order complete within the week. An great shop with even greater ownership! Entrance is off of Avenida de la Estrella, not El Camino Real. Diego and his wife just opened up the shop a few months ago. It's got it's own parking lot which is a huge plus in downtown San Clemente. You'll be greeted by Tucker, the cutest English Retriever puppy. The door is left open with multiple windows so lot of ventilation. Diego is super nice and helpful. Knows what he's doing. I've heard many other places have week long wait for a tune up. Diego can get it done in 2 days. You can get 10% off your first visit by checking in to Yelp. This will be my place to go for any bike tune ups, repairs, advice, etc. read more

Liked the prompt service provided by Diego and Jeff. Had lots of deferred maintenance on my Kuota Tri bike - needed shifter cables, new rear tire, new chain. Had a bent chain. May also need a new cassette. Sorry to say my nearest LBS wanted 6 weeks to fit my bike in. So requested quotes via Yelp and Diego came through. Price seemed reasonable for parts and labor - say $157. Thankfully easy to get to off Palizada exit - take 1st left, then right into parking area. Think Estrella. Parking is off Estrella. El Camino might be a pedestrian entrance. Not the entrance to use when driving up with a bike. read more

This place is Amazing! The owner is friendly and so thorough in his work. I brought in my road bike in for a tune up and to have my bar tape replaced. He quoted me a 24 hour turn around and then called me later in the day to let me know I could pick it up before they closed if I wanted as my bike was finished. There were some things wrong with the bike that needed to be fixed and I had no idea. He took pictures to show me. My new bar tape looks so good too! I am so glad I took my bike to him. FYI- The entrance is off of Avenida de la Estrella, luckily I am from the area do when I saw maps was taking me to El Camino Real, I ignored it. :) read more

I dropped my bike and the chain and wheel completely came off the back wheel. I took my bike in and Diego not only fixed it right there and then on the spot FREE of charge but he also went above and beyond and fixed my alignment, made a few other adjustments and put air in both tires. I couldn't believe it. It's people like him that bring customer service to a whole other level. What a great guy! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Disappointing support from MURF Electric Bikes…read more I am writing this review to share my deeply disappointing experience regarding a premature battery failure on my MURF Electric Bikes e-bike. The bike has only 800 total miles on it and is just 3 months past the standard warranty expiration. For a component as critical and expensive as an e-bike battery, failing after only 800 miles points to a clear manufacturing defect or a faulty Battery Management System (BMS). When the battery stopped working, I took it to an independent local bike shop and spent $50 out of pocket to have it professionally diagnosed. Their conclusion was clear: the battery itself was defective, and my best bet was to take it directly back to the manufacturer, MURF Electric Bikes, at their San Clemente showroom where I originally purchased it. When I reached out to MURF Electric Bikes support, the initial response was highly disappointing. Adhering strictly to the calendar date rather than the incredibly low mileage, they initially only offered a 25% discount on a brand-new replacement battery. After a great deal of back-and-forth and pushback on my part regarding reasonable product lifespan expectations, they finally adjusted their offer to $550 plus tax for a replacement. While I appreciate that they eventually moved on the price, requiring a customer to spend over $550 out of pocket to fix a premium e-bike with only 800 miles on the odometer is unacceptable. A quality lithium-ion battery should easily last several thousand miles. Prospective buyers looking into MURF Electric Bikes should be aware that if a major component fails shortly after the warranty date--even with very minimal use--you may be left holding a significant bill for a replacement.

Small details like the headlamp is good quality, nice comfortable handlebar grips and seat The rear luggage rack is welded to the frame vs. an add-on with fasteners The battery has huge range and speed MURF does a good job managing all the wires associated with an e-bike. The handlebar area looks relatively organized and clean MURF is worth the additional price in my opinion

Customers deserve honesty, quality work, and basic respect. I sincerely hope no one else has to experience the kind of treatment I received. The second receipt is from a separate bike shop stating that it was not replaced and still needed to be fixed.

He had quite a job ahead of him, our old faucet was heavily coated with calcium from a persistent leak. But he assessed the problem, made plans to take apart the faucet as far as he possibly could, and from that point forward it was a matter of Joseph taking the calcified pieces and separating them in a manner that worked, but did no harm to our granite countertops. I was impressed with his ability to pivot away from what would not have worked, and use his skills to figure out the way to succeed. It is good to find creative tradesmen these days, we would love to have him come to our home if we need further help with the plumbing.

My freezer department was failing to remain frozen. The upper ice maker also had stopped working, but it was a secondary issue. Elad diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate for the freezer department repair. Parts were ordered on a Thursday and the repair was completed on the next Tuesday. Elad also told he believed the ice maker would start working within a week, as he felt the repair completed were related. He also gave me a second estimate in case it didn't but suggested I wait. The ice machine started making ice after 5 days which was a great ending. Very impressed with this company and Elad. It is a pleasant surprise to find a technician with integrity that doesn't make unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend this business and would use them in the future if needed.

Thank you Efficient plumbing yet again for your service and timely installation. When we called my husband scheduled the plumbers Steve and Hector to come out the following day. They had a look at my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. We had been wanting to get a new tankless water heater for quite some time but my husband wanted to wait until we were in need of replacing our current hot water heater tank. Steve gave us a quote for replacing our current 75 gallon water heater with a tankless Navien model that would go in our garage in the same place as our old water heater. The price was fair and we agreed to go with the work. Later that morning Efficient Plumbing ordered our tankless water heater, delivered it, removed our old water heater and installed the new tankless water heater for us. They did an amazing job with all the necessary modifications to make the conversion from tank to tankless and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have endless hot water that we once never had. Efficient Plumbing has once again came to our rescue when we have been in need of a plumber! They are the best plumbers and I will continue working with them on any future projects or improvements that we may need.

This is any homeowners nightmare and I called Efficient Plumbing right away. We have used them for many years and sadly this wasn't our first water leak. Evelin answered the phone and walked me through on how to shut the water off to the house immediately to stop the water damage. Hector came out within the hour and got to work diagnosing our issue. He is knowledgeable and very experienced and we always feel like we are in good hands. Our ceiling was opened and it turned out to be a copper pin hole leak on the water line in the ceiling above the dining room that feeds our master bathroom. Hector skillfully repaired the water leak and also advised us to consider a whole house repipe since this was not our first leak. They gave us their estimate the same day for the whole house repipe and even offered to credit the repairs made with Hector towards the repipe which was a big help. We decided to move forward and had them repipe our whole house the following week. They got it done in one day and everything went great! A few days later the drywall was patched up and we were all done! There are many many plumbers in our area but after years of consistent quality workmanship and customer service, I only use and trust Efficient Plumbing.

I called one pest control company and they referred me to Recon Pest Control and told me recon uses better chemicals for my situation. So I call em and they send Tyler right out-no waiting. He knocks down spider webs, thoroughly sprays everywhere, problem solved. So then a month goes by and he returns to spray again but then we get hit with another crazy hot, triple digit heat wave and I find a few ants in my office again. Tyler comes right back and resprays the entire property a second time. Since then I haven't seen a bug in or around the house once. I usually see something, often around the pool area but nada. Even the dog's food bowls are left alone. After replacing the tile on my roof, some rats found their way into my attic. We'd hear their mating ritual echoing through the walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Called Recon and they sent Ryan out to set traps and seal the entry points. The team at Bike House was absolutely amazing in helping my family find the right bike. We ended up choosing a RadWagon so we could carry our kids on the back, and it's been a great choice! One of the parts arrived damaged, but Bike House took care of everything quickly and without any hassle. I couldn't find a bike shop in north San Diego county that could fix my bike. (Problem with rear hub) They either didn't know how to or didn't want to or to busy to. So I called The Bike House. They said bring it up and well hook you up. And that's what he did. Didn't get his name but he had my bike wheel fixed in less that 5 minutes. Amazing!! I spent the last two days trying to find someone to help me with my fix my bike. And on top of that he didn't even charge me.
