Hands down, the best bike shop around. I recently bought a second-hand Ibis Ripmo and was having shifting issues, plus my rear brake needed to be bled. A buddy of mine highly recommended this shop, so I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was going on with my bike. Not a huge deal but disappointing. Ordered some brake lines recently for a bike build and never received them. They shipped it via USPS and USPS seems to have lost it in the mail. I reached out and they said they had to start an inquiry with USPS. The ordered was placed on 6/29 and still no parts or resolution on 7/13. Hear nothing but good things about this place but my experience hasn't been the best. Seems if ordering online, sticking with the bigger retailers is the way to go. read more

While I'm confident the suspension work is dialed in, the "front office" culture at this shop is deeply disappointing. Two weeks ago, I witnessed staff belittling a non-English speaking customer. When he struggled to identify his bike's make, they snidely asked what car he drove, then mocked him when he answered: "You know the make of your car but you can't tell me the model of your bike." It was clearly intended to embarrass him. My own pickup experience was equally cold. I was ignored for several minutes while staff discussed personal weekend rides. I eventually had to place items on the counter just to be acknowledged. After paying, there was zero discussion regarding setup or warranty--just silence. I've been riding for 40 years across the country, and this is the classic "too cool for you" bike shop trope. The technician was great, but I won't spend money where customers are treated as an inconvenience or an easy target for ridicule. read more

Superb communication and even though there was a price/website issue with one of the items I ordered they explained it to me and after communication were able to expedite my order and now I config'd the bikes for me and teammates and everything worked out nicely. The team are responsible and take ownership of any issue and certainly customize to each order/customer accordingly - something rare nowadays. They are not amazon prime they are a mom and pop local brick and mortar bike shop who are kind enough to also have an online store and real people actually reading their emails and not bots or templates. For what its worth they do mention on their site the processing time for orders are 3-5 business days so please be mindful. My wife and I are stoked everything arrived technically earlier than the planned Monday sched time. Thank you David and everyone at Pro Bike Supply. As a US citizen living in Chile, it has been difficult to find elite bike parts. This shop not only ships internationally, it does so at very fair prices-- in fact, I found parts here for about 15% less than most of their competitors. Might seem like a fake review from how positive I'm being with this, but my parts arrive promptly and without any issues. I did also order a few miscellaneous parts which weren't in stock from other vendors -- it has been weeks, and they still haven't arrived. Customer service was thorough and excellent. I ordered parts for two bikes, and they double checked with me to ensure that the parts weren't duplicate orders. Plenty of other businesses would have simply taken my money without question. I probably ordered about 8 grand worth of parts, as I am building two mountain bikes -- a hard tail and one with a rear shock. Everything arrived well packaged and without damage, also important to me considering the value of the products. Returns would have been a big hassle, but this bike shop took good care of me. After a week went by, I called them to inquire about the order to see if had shipped. I should have read the reviews prior to ordering. In looking at other reviews I received the too cool vibe and there was no customer service provided. The guy on the line informed me their online shipping and order tracking system sometimes works. There was no offer of an apology or anything from a customer resolution perspective. I asked when I could expect my order and was told that I should check my emails. A while afterwards I finally received the shipping notification. Again the guy on the phone offered no apology for the issue and acted as though it was my fault. I work in customer service and all it takes is a little humility and a quick apology for the issue but that seemed too much to ask for the guy on the phone. read more

This shop is fantastic! I have one decent and one very good bike shop within 3 miles of my home, but chose to buy my second bike a half hour across town because the vibe I got here was so much better than other shops. I went in to do a few demos and found that each person I ran into was friendly, engaging and helpful. You often find some apathy at many bike shops, but not here. Actually, it blows me away that I know the names of some of the folks here. Mark, Nico, Matty, Gio, Jack, Emilie...they are all freindly and super responsive. I'm pretty sure I don't know the names of anyone at any store I go to regularly. Since buying the bike, they've investigated & fixed a creak, I've gotten the six month service, a warranty item taken care of and even got floated some take-off parts of a deraillieur piece that I had been looking for for over 9 months with no success. Was able to demo all the models I wanted at the shop. Nico and Matty provided great customer service, are super nice, and really knowledgeable. I purchased a Yeti SB 150. My transaction then lead me to their online services. Arin was great. Super responsive and I got the same message as I did in the shop, thus, no confusion. He said the bike would arrive in 3-4 weeks, I figured with COVID, that would turn into 6-7 weeks. I GOT THE BIKE IN 2.5 weeks!!! Overall, excellent experience. I stumbled across this place on accident and I'm so glad I did. Over the last couple months I've ordered quite a bit of parts online for my Stumpie Evo, and stockpiled them until everything was in with the intent of throwing everything on at the same time. New wheels / hubs / tires / stem / rotors / brakes. I had trouble finding the brakes I wanted (TRP DHRs) and found ProBikeSupply online who had them in stock. I added them to my cart as the last item I wanted to order, and was pleased to see that they were located in Newport. I checked out online and selected local pickup. I came in on a Friday with the intent of just picking up my item and having a shop near my home (R&R Mission Viejo) install it all but spoke to Mattie who said they could install that next day as they do "walk in" service on Saturdays. Although this wasn't part of the plan, everyone working at PBS (and I mean everyone) was so helpful and friendly that I decided to come in Saturday to have all the parts installed. I came in Saturday to drop off my bike and a couple boxes of parts for install, and they were able to get it done same day. Knowland (I know I butchered that name - sorry) was the tech working on my bike and his service and explanation of everything was awesome. I was most impressed that he took the time to get everything setup correctly, he took his time, and that he even took the time to clean up other affected areas that I hadn't even asked for. The best way to characterize their bike service is that they do it right the first time (I've had issues with other shops where they seem to half-ass work or do the bare minimum). ProBikeSupply has earned all my business from here on out. They have a great selection of parts, EXTREMELY knowledgeable staff, and they take pride in their work. I dropped my bike off at Rock N Road and the kept it for almost 3 months during Covid on three separate occasions. Never really fixing my problem or giving my bike any attention. My chain got sucked into the gearing and bent several spokes as well as tweaking my derailleur. A friend recommended I give Pro Bike Supply a try and I dropped it off on a Saturday. Within minutes Miko pointed out that I had six bent spokes and a bent derailleur. He had the bike fixed by Monday afternoon and it rides great. It is a small shop but on customer relationships and outstanding service. Prices are fare and they stand by their work. I will be telling all my friend's to shop at Pro Bike! read more

First time ordering from PBS and the experience was better than expected. I ordered replacement pads for my AXS Ultimate shifting pod and unfortunately was not aware that Sram has already revised the part to use small screws for the attachments and when I received the parts found they would not work. I called PBS and they immediately ordered the correct parts from Sram and are shipping the replacements. Only wish the website would have indicated that there more than one pad kit option (w/ and w/o screw attachments) which may have eliminated the incorrect shipment in the first place. read more
