The company was fast, friendly, and easy to work with. However, I later discovered they installed the wrong drivetrain parts on my e-mountain bike before I put it into storage. My bike originally had a 12-speed Shimano cassette and chain, but they replaced them with a 10-speed cassette and chain and adjusted the shifter to make it work. At the time, everything seemed fine. After about two years in storage, I took the bike out, cleaned and lubricated the chain, and went for a ride. The chain ended up breaking. When I went to replace it using the factory 12-speed specifications, that's when I realized the cassette and chain were not 12-speed components. It was disappointing because they seemed knowledgeable, and I trusted the work that was done. I would just recommend double-checking that the correct parts are installed for your specific bike before leaving the shop. They have since moved out of my area. read more

Hey everyone. Good day. I had Steve checked my e bike previously, he said my ebike needed PROBABLY a new motor which he did not carry with him. I had to get the motor myself the he can install it some other day. That was about 2 months ago. I have the new motor now, thats when i texted him about 3 weeks ago to this number: +19496367369. I wrote him, after 3pm anyday when does he have time to come and check or see my bike now...guess what! NO ANSWER AT ALL! NOTHING! I'm confused, I just want to know if he does not care? Or he is not interested on doing business with me anymore? I don't know... i just want to know whats going on, so i can move on to the next provider...one thing for sure is that the preview time I saw him, he made me feel that he was making me a favor...very cold or indifferent (customer concerns, questions about the ebike) very bad that i did not want to make my last questions. $95 for a 15 minute "tune up." Was convenient to have someone come over, but I didn't feel like I quite got the bang for my buck. Update 07/10/2023: I ended up taking my bike to Pure Ride Cycles in Lake Forest, where I initially purchased my bike, for a proper tune up. They offer one free complimentary tune up when you buy a bike from them. I should have taken my bike there to begin with. I dropped my bike off, and when I picked it up a couple days later, the quality of the tune up was night and day compared to what I got from Steve. It was like a brand new bike. They cleaned the bike from head to toe, from the chain, every gear, the wheels to the spokes, and beyond. It felt brand new and the ride felt much smoother. The owner Kristen even helped adjust my bike seat higher and move it forward for a more efficient biking posture. She spent time and effort on me, and I felt cared for. Steve is "fast at his job" because he does half the job the local bike shop will do for you. Don't be fooled and don't waste $95 bucks for a half-hearted tune up, which from what I can tell was nothing more than a visual inspection. First off Steve made it look easy. I have an Ebike and throttle was not working.
