Pricing does not match their website Their website clearly lists $30 per brake adjustment. I had both front and rear brakes adjusted, so the expected total should have been $60. However, I was initially told to pay $40 per brake ($80 total). Only after I showed them their own website pricing did they reduce the price by $10, and I ended up paying $70. The receipt reflects this "discount," which only happened after I pointed out the discrepancy. Even then, the final price was still higher than what is advertised. 3. Lack of transparency and accountability Between the unexplained damage and inconsistent pricing, this experience felt dishonest and unprofessional. I have documentation (website screenshot and receipt) to support this. I would recommend others double-check pricing in advance and inspect their bike carefully before leaving. **Update after owner response:** After reading the owner's reply, I want to clarify several key points for accuracy and transparency. First, the owner described my bike as a "one-year-old used bike," which is incorrect. I have proof of purchase from late December 2025 showing it was purchased brand new. If it doesn't turn out to be the right one, come back with the wheel and we'll get you squared away." It ended up not being the correct spoke, so I returned the next day. Don took care of me, found the correct replacement spoke, and removed my threaded freewheel using the proper freewheel removal tool so I could lace the new spoke into the drive side of my rear wheel. They didn't just sell me parts--they took the time to help me learn and get my bike back on the road. These guys perform a real service to the community. I'm working on lowering my blood pressure and getting healthier, and because of their help I was able to get back on my bike. Today my boys and I rode 6 miles on the trails, and that wouldn't have happened without Nate and Don. My boys say a big thank you because Dad can take them biking again. I don't expect anyone to make miracles happen, if a bike isn't stock there's nothing anyone can do. My problem was that they sold the bike I was on the way to pick up AND then told me they had another one, made me wait an hour for it, only to discover it was the wrong bike. 2) Either the staff is lying through their teeth or the owner is but no one sent any email. I've double checked my inbox/junk etc. and ABSOLUTELY nothing was offered to "make it right" other than a shrug from the manager. By all means, let me know what free accessories I was offered so I can return the stuff I bought full price at the Laguna Niguel location. I can come pick it up anytime

Back in the day, I did use to own a ton of tools to fix up my bikes but I left the sport and got rid of most of them. I recently bought a vintage bike off marketplace and just wanted to swap out the pedals to grippy flats. I ended up destroying 3 wrenches and wrecked my knuckles trying to get one pedal that appeared to be welded to the crank set. Nothing I did worked, so I decided to come here instead. I love the whole concept of this place. It is a community hub to go and get your bike taken care of. They have a ton of old parts available and it is incredibly cheap. I was able to use shop time at $15 an hour and the volunteers helped me fix up my bike and provide tips on how to fix things up. Nobody was able to get the pedal off, so I was able to buy a used crank set for like $5. Insane. I don't think I could have beaten that hunting for deals in fb marketplace. They're a great nonprofit and they sell a ton of used bikes as well. Out the door, with the parts, and shop time, I was only out $40. With the time, I was able to swap out the bottom bracket with a good used one, used crank set, and true 4 wheels. Insane. Normally at a bike shop that probably would have been a few hundred dollars to have a mechanic do it. I would highly recommend anyone who is handy and wants to learn how to wrench on a bike come here.

He had quite a job ahead of him, our old faucet was heavily coated with calcium from a persistent leak. But he assessed the problem, made plans to take apart the faucet as far as he possibly could, and from that point forward it was a matter of Joseph taking the calcified pieces and separating them in a manner that worked, but did no harm to our granite countertops. I was impressed with his ability to pivot away from what would not have worked, and use his skills to figure out the way to succeed. It is good to find creative tradesmen these days, we would love to have him come to our home if we need further help with the plumbing.

Great communication, honest and great service. I had my electric bike (sixthreezero) electric bike built. From the very beginning, great communication and I had other quotes but was so impressed with by my interaction with Ali. He was on time, checked in with me to ensure I had enough time to get home and was very clean and through with my bike assembly. Tested everything, cleaned up and ensured that all my questions were answered and that I was happy. He came to my house and promptly assembled my bike and I'm couldn't be happier. My bike originally had a 12-speed Shimano cassette and chain, but they replaced them with a 10-speed cassette and chain and adjusted the shifter to make it work. At the time, everything seemed fine. After about two years in storage, I took the bike out, cleaned and lubricated the chain, and went for a ride. The chain ended up breaking. When I went to replace it using the factory 12-speed specifications, that's when I realized the cassette and chain were not 12-speed components. It was disappointing because they seemed knowledgeable, and I trusted the work that was done. I would just recommend double-checking that the correct parts are installed for your specific bike before leaving the shop. They have since moved out of my area.

Marc quoted one price of $75 per bike for diagnostics, picked up the bikes, and then we could not get ahold of him for days. Once we got ahold of him, we decided to not go through with new bike batteries, which were quoted at $599 each. Marc agreed to drop the bikes back off. (This was still a struggle to get him to respond to agree on a time to drop them off) Marc then sent me an invoice, including $204 of "storage fees" for the time he had the bikes in his shop. We never agreed or knew about any "Storage Fees". After arguing with Marc and threatening to report the bikes as stolen, he complied to drop them off and I paid what I owed (75 per bike). SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE! This guy is unresponsive and dishonest with his pricing and service.
