AAA has gone down hill SIGNIFICANTLY & I've been a member 10+ years! I just want other members to know about the HORRIBLE experience & awful interactions I had yesterday with: dispatchers, tow truck drivers, nearly EVERYONE INVOLVED failed me- after my car broke down on RT 44, on the 295 bridge highway bypass. I called for a tow yesterday around 12:00 pm & TOLD THEM I WAS BROKEN DOWN ON A DANGEROUS ROAD, in a construction zone, on an OVERPASS, with 1 lane of travel, blocking another lane of travel, on the hottest day of the year & not only did they NOT DISPATCH FOR 45 minutes but they began an argument with me about where I was having my vehicle towed! Unbelievable right?!?! Well it gets worse!!! As a AAA member I am paying for the majority of that tow- mind you; they give you a courtesy 3 miles, but dispatchers argued with me for 20+ minutes that I can't have it towed to a private business. I told them multiple times it's NOT A PRIVATE BUSINESS & TO CONNECT me to a supervisor. After waiting on hold for 20M- which was not only UNPROFESSIONAL BUT JUST DOWNRIGHT UNSAFE! Also the business they were arguing with me about is MACERA STONE and my last name is MACERA- IMO- it could not be ANY MORE clear. Initially a supervisor argued with me but then she backpedaled & said it was a misunderstanding and that she was confused and that I COULD HAVE IT TOWED THERE. Which I already knew as I have had vehicles towed there!! Ok, so to make matters worse. I get a text saying your driver is abbot to arrive: from Dave's towing. I was there I flagged him down- he BACKED UP TO MY VEHICLE & THEN LEFT!!!!! I called Dave's Towing repeatedly- at first they denied that it was their driver & then I was told I am calling the police & was HUNG UP on! I then called AAA back to let them know my tow truck driver just TOOK OFF on me. I waited another 15M & finally was connected to someone- They said AAA was arriving in 5M, needless to say THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!! So I call back AGAIN, another 10M on HOLD. I asked what happened why did the tow truck guy pull up & then leave? NOBODY could answer this for me! I was told they are looking into it & that another driver was dispatched. When that same tow truck driver finally came BACK- he had to tow my car because there was an officer there! SO OVERALL IT TOOK NEARLY 2 HOURS TO GET TOWED OFF ROUTE 44 IN SMITHFIELD ON A BUSY SATURDAY AFTERNOON creating all types of traffic & blocking lanes of travel. I am lucky that I didn't get hit by a car or end up in the hospital for dehydration as my air conditioner wasn't working. Not only were the dispatchers extremely rude & argumentative but they were literally TELLING me they were NOT going to have my vehicle towed to location I chose & They should have NEVER WAITED 45M to dispatch the tow truck either THIS SHOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY BEEN DONE.... SECONDLY why did the first tow truck driver pull up & THEN ABRUPTLY LEAVE???? VERY SHADY. Finally, why did it take nearly 2 hours for me to be towed when they claimed I was marked as a priority? I'm just glad that I didn't have my children with me- as this could have went so much WORSE- although I'm not sure how anything could have been worse then the service or lack of service I received yesterday!!!! I WILL be filing a formal complaint with member services on Monday & hopefully AAA can somehow rectify this- but if they choose not to- I will be cancelling our 4 person Family membership! Not only was it evident they do not CARE about their customers but the RUDE attitude by almost every dispatcher involved was unprofessional There were a few dispatchers that were really nice- such as the one who called to follow up afterwords & informed me how I could follow up and make a complaint. She was the only dispatcher I spoke to that offered compassion, kindness, and understanding regarding my situation! I admit I was also a bit testy and yelled on the phone to one of the dispatchers, but I was extremely frustrated and I did apologize to the woman I got loud with. L I'm literally in shock this happened, as I've really never had an "issue" with AAA- prior to today! But I am left traumatized by my experience yesterday & as young woman with children, If this was my daughter this had happened to- I would be Outraged!! read more

I usually come here for my DMV needs. So much easier and more pleasant than the dmv. The employees seem happy. There's usually a line waiting for the doors to open on a Saturday morning, but nothing too crazy. If you don't want to wait, then come closer to closing or on another day while many people are at work. read more

A Zoo I though this place was setup to move you through quickly processing some of life's situations such as registry items, passports, insurance deals, and possible vacation planning. Man was I wrong. I went in and stood in line for a half hour and then I was told to sit and wait. We then waited another 30 minutes to get a password picture. Then to make matters worse, we waited another 30 minutes to speak to a vacation specialist who quotes us a deal that I could have done better booking online myself. So, one and half hours for two passport pictures and vacation quote that was 25% higher than I quote I had gotten online doing the work myself. Not sure how this is helpful. Thanks read more

Exceptional service in getting paper work notarized today! This branch has helped us in past many diverse services in the past, including helping us with a great trip to Disney in March 2020! Next time in, I will upgrade my drivers license for Real ID and they provided my the paperwork to do that already!! Please consider this branch for your many needs! read more

Super duper happy I found this location , thank you YELP! So I needed to buy six flags tickets ( since I'm a member ) and they're cheaper here any who. Walking into this place it's pretty small but they offer services and dmv services which I am super happy about because every location I know about the dmv services is backed up for miles and this place there was only one person so for next time I know for sure! So if anyone needs dmv services check this location out. It's also super helpful that this place isn't far from me that's extra points in my book. Back to what I came for, the tickets. The lady who helped me was very welcoming , offered other things in case I needed them like a parking pass which I bought and she was also very helpful and quick as well, I love to be in and out of places and that's what happened here. Thanks to this location , I will be back and this is my now go to AAA location. Great employees here! read more

I had a great experience here. I made an appointment in advance and was able to walk right in and get served. I was able to quickly get a REAL ID to replace my old driver's license. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I had a much more positive experience here than the larger AAA in Providence, which always takes longer than expected. read more

I made two attempts to renew my auto registration today. The first time, I waited for an hour without moving. There was one person servicing the line. I left disgusted with the intention of returning later in the day. When I returned the second time , the line was just as long. This time, I waited for more than 30 minutes and did not move. I will make a third attempt, tomorrow. The level and quality of customer service is among the worst I've ever seen. If AAA is intent on offering these services, they should be properly staffed and organized to do so. Every person in line with me was very disappointed with the way that office is run. After refinancing my car loan through AAA Greenville, I've had the worst customer service. Because of their error, I had to go 5 times to my bank and back to AAA three more times. They offered a years membership to help make up for the trouble, but never followed through, even after multiple calls on my part. read more

My go to do any DMV needs as well as travel and tickets. I purchased tickets to Mystic Aquarium -make sure you purchase them far enough in advance in case they run out of tickets for Mystic as well as other places. I have tried calling the location to ask if they have had their camera fixed to bring my baby in for a passport photo but they never ever answer the phone, don't bother calling and just stop in. read more

I called to make a flight reservation and I wanted the up front more costly seats, I was told they can book the flight but can't get me specified seats. So I decided to book the flight myself, then I called and asked since I have been a member for decades and hardly ever use them(which is good for me) and better for them, if they would print out my tickets since I am a bit nervous of messing up, they said because u didn't book through us it would be,$20.00 per person for that service! How could I book through them when they said they don't do specific seating! read more

This location is convenient and helpful but lately I have found that the staff is very belittling and ignorant. They are not very helpful when an issue arises. They did not give me a chance to ask questions I had and they were not very helpful. read more

After losing my wallet, I was understandably upset. So I went to AAA in Greenville, RI and they helped me with everything. I had my new License Photo taken, received my new temporary license and was able to get my new AAA card. So I was so pleased and the staff could not have been nicer. So glad I have AAA membership!!!!
