Good experience all around. Customer service was great. I had tons of questions and they were more than patient with me. The guy who came out to do the initial measurements for my shower glass was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced (apparently, the glass door I already had was oversized, so he recommended the new one be an inch narrower). The guys who came out to do the install were punctual and courteous and finished within an hour (for one glass door and one stationary piece). They weren't the cheapest bid I got, but their proposal was VERY detailed, and I got the overall impression that they were determined to do the whole thing right. Extremely disappointing with the quality of work provided. I will not recommend them to anyone. The pictures speak for themselves. After doing a major kitchen renovation we wanted to install a glass backsplash. After waiting 2 months for the glass to be cut and installed, the workmanship was extremely poor. As you can see the finishes are inconsistent and it looks like a 3 year old made paint splotches along the bottom of the glass. The Silicone is uneven and not consistent with color of countertop. Very very disappointing with their follow up and arrogant communication, and being told this is the way its supposed to be. I wonder if they would have accepted a paint job on their personal vehicle if the shop left marks like this. We will never never recommend them again. What a joke of a business. read more

Tempered glass panel they installed for shower enclosure shattered about six months after installation with no one around. They say glass breakage isn't covered by their limited warranty. My argument is that it was poor installation/design that didn't allow for movement of thermal expansion/contraction. They are willing to re-do it at their cost for materials and reduced labor rate but, why would should I give them more money to do the job again. They tried to assure me it just just a fluke and the some types temper glass just breaks and that they installed over 20,000 of the these panels with no issues. If that's case, warranty the glass! At no time, was I specifically told that tempered glass some type just breaks for no reason. Had I know this, I would have designed my remodel differently. read more

I can't say I'm too happy with this company. I ordered a mirror on 11/15/21. Madison was supposed to send me a proposal to sign before they started but she didn't sent it to me until I asked if she had on the 17th. She said she'd call for payment and for delivery it'd probably be near the end of the year possibly going into the new year. She never called to collect payment and mid way through January I was wandering what was going on so I called and she finally collected payment and set me up for delivery 01/25/22. This ended up being delayed about a month because they had absolutely no follow through and I had to stay on top of them the whole way through. I won't be doing any more business here. read more

Great service from start to finish!! Maddie was very helpful in explaining our options and showing us pictures to get the process moving. I was pleased with how quickly we got on the schedule after the parts arrived and was even more impressed with the installation team. We've had contractors come prepared with booties to keep their shoes off our carpet and floors, but these guys actually took the booties off when they went outside and put them back on before entering. So disappointed with Kartak. We had them do our shower doors and mirrors in our new home that we just built a year and a half ago. Immediately we saw that one of the showers leaked but our contractor fixed it so we weren't too concerned. Now a year and a half in and our master bathroom shower door doesn't close completely and the mirror in another bathroom is desilvering at the bottom. I had that happen in our rental house and asked what we could do to prevent this. Ben at Kartak said that it was a cheap mirror and that we didn't need to worry because Kartak doesn't sell cheap mirrors. Well obviously that's not true. When we called today to ask about the mirror, we were abruptly told that we were over the year warranty and we had to pay them to replace and $250 to come out as well! Don't use them! They can't be trusted! I am wondering what our bathrooms will look like in 5 years if they look this bad in 1 1/2 years! Shoddy materials and work. Don't use them! read more

Don't waste your time or money! 65 years in business and still can't get their shit together. First after waiting 3 weeks Nemo calls and says they have the wrong shower handle . Fine we said install the glass and wrong handle, come back and install the correct handle later. 2 hrs later Nemo calls and says we cut the glass incorrectly it will be another week. Now we received another call a week later saying another week. This company blows! They need to refund 25% of my $3000. I had the good people at AAA Kartak install a new shower door for me as well as fix an older one. They did a really nice job, and everyone I spoke with at the company was on point. They did mix up my order a little and had to reschedule the install, but it was not a big deal. Not only were they 1/4 the cost (as I do not need Mahogany) they were the best designed and then came back and installed another shoe shelf at no cost. This company was selected by our designer, who got paid a margin over their charges. We were not pleased. The glass door and walls were to be installed together. They did not get the correct hinges, twice they did not get the correct hinges. So the door was brought in three times, our schedules were disrupted three times. There is no rational reason for this, other than sloppy work, lack of attention to detail, inability to correctly do their job. Lots of rave reviews here by others, but I disagree. I guess errors are acceptable to these other reviewers. read more

Finally got installed on Friday. Left metal shards all over the bathroom and bedroom. Who ever heard of a contractor, if they are cutting metal, not having a shop vac.
