Continually thankful for my Triple A membership. Car broke down on Thursday afternoon & with the help of my roadside assistance, tow truck arrived 30 minutes later to pick up my vehicle. It was delivered to this location's auto shop. I didn't have to follow the tow truck. They performed a free inspection and called me by Friday morning with a full work up and estimate was emailed over right away. Car troubles were completed same day and they kindly held my vehicle an extra night until I could pick it up this morning. They suggested I ask AAA if they have any jumper cables to borrow if they're still open. I thought hey that's great idea!! I walked in and was ignored until I stood in front staring at her. She seemed very interested in whatever she was looking at than to bother greeting me. I asked the lady about jumper cables and she told me no. Didn't bother asking any of her colleagues either, but she did offer their phone for me to call someone. As I said my thanks and on my walked out, she tried to sell me roadside assistance... ha ha..!? First off, I have roadside with Mercedes. Its just a lot more inconvenient and time consuming to wait around when all I need is a quick jump. Secondly, lady with a fractured arm, your humor wasn't appreciated unless you were dead serious about making me a member tonight. Sigh is it too much to hope a place like AAA would have jumper cables on hand for their customers, employees or to be customers? More than AAA-OK. Just when you think you're headed home to work comfortably in your underwear. Boom! You walk out to your car and you see that you have a flat tire. It's one of those instant bummer moments. Should I change it myself? NO! Of course not, why do I pay $45 a year for this service and never get the glory of sharing my AAA moment, until now. I called around 2pm and requested service for a flat tire. The operator guy was super helpful and said you're all set and that there should be a truck showing up at 2:23pm to help me, "that pretty precise" I thought. I hang up and instantly get text confirming what the operator guy just said. I decided to grab some coffee and sit down to work on my laptop. At 2:21pm I get a call from the AAA guy, Ian, "I'm next to your car". Whoa, I walk outside and there's Ian, patiently waiting. I get out my spare and watch this dude change the tire in what felt like 2 minutes. He even checked the air pressure of the spare to make sure it was set for the road, luckily it was. From phone call to fixed in under thirty minutes. All I can say is wow and Ian you're the man! BTW- I'm typing this in my underwear. read more

This establishment are straight-up crooks. We asked for specific items to be replaced with our parts. The first sentence from the staff was that they wouldn't guarantee the workmanship. After the work, I noticed several quality lapses. A missing bolt, low coolant, loose air box, missing latch, and both battery cable clamps were loose. Not to mention a bumper scratch and a door ding to boot. Oh, and they said the front brake pads were worn out - my personal inspection showed 80 % life remaining. read more

AAA flat tire angels. Seriously, they're angels. I called the number on the back of my membership card and I had AAA Tow Truck and friendly mechanic (Ian) within 30 mins. I even received text location updates to keep me updated on his arrival time. Ian changed my tire within 10/15 mins and I was on my way. Their service was phenomenal from the moment I called them to the moment I drove off --- easy peasy... lemon squeezy. My membership has paid for itself. Over and over again (2nd flat tire in the past year). I also receive discounts at hotels, Gap Factory, and Banana Republic Factory stores (Google the Lifehacker article that that highlights all the places you can save at with a AAA membership). They even have options which would reimburse you for hotels if your traveling and have an incident like this. They offer roadside service in anyone's car--even if you're a passenger. They even have a DMV Kiosk in their office and you can complete your car registration - hassle free - in and out. AAA is peace of mind and has helped me out of my flat tire pickles. I implore you to check em' out if you want the same piece of mind. If you drive and wouldn't want to be stranded in the heat to change a flat tire in the middle of a Las Vegas summer... call them and get a membership. They're there when you need them. I called to have my truck towed from the mechanic shop back home because I couldn't have the work done today and the representative told me that I would have to pay for the tow out of pocket. I haven't used all of my tows for the year and a previous representative told me that I would be able to have my vehicle towed back home. Now I'm trying to figure out which one doesn't know the policy of the company. I'm a premier customer and I don't see why I would have had to pay out of pocket for a service. This puts a very sour taste in my mouth for AAA. At the end of the day if I hadn't used all of my tows for the year it shouldn't have been a problem to use one.
