I love that this place does a little of everything. I just got married so I'm going through all of the name change craziness. I needed a document notarized and also needed to take a photo for my new passport. I was able to get a document notarized here and also a passport photo. I made a same-day appointment and was in and out in 15 minutes. I had been here before to do a live scan for a job a few years ago, process was also a breeze. The price was more than reasonable. If I could give zero stars I would. I came here to do a live scan. My live scan documents specifically request for my Live scan to be mailed directly to a specific business. This information was already typed in the bottom of the document. The owner said that a copy would get sent to me and to the DOJ. He said this company is very lazy and they don't know what they're doing and they're not gonna tell me what to do so I'm not sending anything to their company. I said, excuse me, sir I could show you the protocol on the website, I grabbed my iPad to show him. I said that is why that specific information is already typed into the bottom of that document. I was respectful the whole time. I was not expecting any of this . Then he looked dead into my eyes and said what did you say to me with a very angry tone. I said here I could show you on the web site and that is why that address is at the bottom of the document so they can receive my information. He said understand something you don't tell me anything and they don't tell me anything. You are nobody to tell me anything you know nothing. I was absolutely shocked. I said, sir I understand, I worked in record clearance before, I'm a college graduate, and I have a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He grabbed my hand and said I'll do your fingerprints. You don't move with a very angry tone. I felt really uncomfortable because I'm alone in this very small space with this man who has no problem yelling at me in my face and grabbing my hand without asking me. As his arm proceeded to bump into my chest, I was contemplating on if I should yank my hand right there and run off because at this point, I'm feeling like this man is on drugs. Thankfully, a man walked in right then, that is when I said, I feel very disrespected and I need to leave. I don't wanna have the service done by you. He started yelling at me in front of the man that walked in and I pulled my hand from his hand, I grabbed my things and said you know what I'm gonna put all of this on yelp. He yelled and said what did you just say to me. And I said I'm going to put this on yelp as I walked out the door and I left and he followed me out the door yelling at me . This was all in broad daylight. I can't believe my experience here, and then come to find out that he charged my card anyway. I called my bank and let them know that I did not go through the service and he charged my card. I'm gonna call the Better Business Bureau and report my experience at this so-called business. That's really a bedroom, with a man that is clearly struggling with substance abuse. This is not a professional place of business. There is a curtain that he left open with his dirty laundry everywhere, his bed showing, and he literally just walks out in flip-flops. Please ladies, be very careful and go with your first mind. I felt this place did not look like a legitimate business when I arrived and he did a good job of calling it triple A, literally AAA, like it was the car insurance company. It seemed very sketchy and I could not see through the black security gate when I arrived, I still believed it to be the car insurance company at that point. I should have listened to that Holy Spirit conviction that said do not go in. Any man that yells in a women's face and grabs her hand without asking, purposely bumping into her chest is a creep and I thank God that someone walked in and was no longer alone, and I was able to pull away and leave. read more

Horrible experience using their services as an employer, We send new hires for background check, orders additional services not requested, and charged additional by the DOJ. We set up an account but they charge the employees. Hidden fees not explained, receipts not given to the company, just charges received, that they have no record to tell us who the employee was that they charged. The WORST customer service, I believe the son is covering for his father. Absolutely rude. I don't leave bad reviews unless they've really earned it and my god this place has earned it. Went in during operating hours, door was locked so my friend called their number. The man who answered said he was on his break which is understandable so we waited it out. Ended up waiting for over an hour. Went back and walked in, the interior of the shop wasn't horrible but didn't really see the appropriateness of having evil eyes and spiritual decor everywhere in an official place of business but to each their own. The bald man was the one who helped us out. Right off the bat he seemed impatient, his tone sounded like he could be set off at any moment if you answered his questions incorrectly. My friend who needed her prints scanned didn't have some of the paperwork needed and he immediately had a negative reaction as if it were such a burden to him to try and help us out. We eventually got everything worked out but still his tone remained the same. So if you read any other reviews from other people saying he had an attitude they're telling the truth because we didn't say a single thing to provoke this man and yet he was acting like we were at the DMV. When he was taking her fingerprints he was doing the procedure as if he were TSA at an airport. Just unnecessarily aggressive, I saw him basically yanking her hand between each fingerprint and I say this not as an exaggeration her whole body would move each time he did this. He just exuded this "I don't really care, let's just get this over with so I can go back to what I was doing" type of attitude. And by all means I understand a lot of people feel that way about their jobs but there's also a customer service aspect to it and he just didn't care to show that whatsoever. I rarely leave negative reviews but after my experience at this place I feel I must warn others about the terrible service my husband and I experienced here. We were confused as to what form we needed to fill out and this caused the bald man who was helping us, to go into a state of rage. I communicated that we were confused and he proceeded to get so frustrated that he kicked us out. On the way out he was physically pushing us out and yelling racist things. After this terrible service we were left in complete shock and had to find someone else to help us. With so many other nice establishments around that can provide the same service, I recommend going elsewhere. He should not have this attitude toward the community or minorities that make up a large part of his business. We come to these people for help with matters we know nothing about feeling pretty vulnerable. I have read all of the reviews and it really is up to you if you want to risk whether he is having a good day or a bad day. read more

Although this is usually a one-time service for most people, I could not be more happy I went here rather than anywhere else. The manager, Sid Issazadeh, was so kind and welcoming from the moment I called until the end of my appointment. He answered my call right away and was very accommodating with my last-minute attempt to make an appointment. He somehow turned a process that is usually a nuisance into a pleasant experience. His friendly demeanor and efficiency was much appreciated, and I highly recommend him to anyone! He has been doing this for 16 years and really knows his stuff, which was extremely comforting considering the nature of the service. Everyone knows these kinds of things can be costly, but he charges much less for his services in comparison to most locations, minus the hassle and the usual crazy wait time I have experienced in the past. A lot of live scan people are rude and push when they're putting your hand on the scanner machine. This guy is gentle and very clear in his instructions. And he was the quickest I had ever seen.
