I would absolutely NOT recommend Sydnie Gregg as a driving instructor. My son left her lesson feeling more confused than confident. Instead of focusing on teaching, she spent a large portion of the drive talking negatively about his previous instructor, which was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. At one point, she even stopped the car in the middle of a residential neighborhood just to continue ranting about him. Her instructions were unclear and all over the place. She constantly didn't make sense while explaining steps, which only made my son more nervous behind the wheel. To make matters worse, the report/email she later sent me contradicted herself several times! A driving instructor should be calm, clear, and focused on helping students learn safely -- not gossiping about coworkers and confusing students. Very disappointing experience. read more

Linda at AAA DMV Services Desk was so rude to me when I asked questions about transferring the title of my SUV, registering another vehicle, and inquiring about battery service! I live in San Diego but I stopped at the Murrieta branch on my way home from Big Bear. In all of my years of doing business with AAA, Linda at the Murrieta branch provided the absolute WORST customer service I've experienced in my life! She rolled her eyes and scoffed at me while speaking to me in the most condescending tone of voice! She treated me like I was beneath her and a waste of her time. I'm not one to complain. I always consider someone might be having a bad day. This lady was horrible and miserable! I decided to report her to Branch Manager Nicole. I can't imagine AAA having someone as nasty as this lady representing their otherwise awesome company. Hopefully the Manager will take this seriously. read more

Do yourself a favor; if you come to the Murrieta AAA location for car insurance, please don't go with this guy Richard Ochoa, totally real prick. Let me explain: About a week I came to renew my car insurance; right from the get go he started to give some attitude, very condescending, lecturing as if a I was a kid, very caky. Needless to say, I piss me off right away and it takes a lot to piss me off for sure. A few days later, I went to the Temecula office, and want to see if I can finalize my transaction there, but apparently, since he started the renewal I have to come to him to finalize. Again, same shit; same attitude, same horrible customer service. Not sure why this guy still working here since it gives aaa a horrible reputation. I found the itinerary said if you cancel 2 weeks before you get a full refund. found out she went to Italy and used my excursions for herself with photo proof. Ok, so I had a bad experience on 6-8-24 at my local AAA branch in Murieta ca Madison Ave.  I recently purchased 2 new 5x8 utility trailers from the local tractor supply co. They have never had title before, just a manufacturer build certificate  I called aaa 800 number to make sure this could be done and was assured that indeed would be done at that Murrieta location with no trouble. I pulled one of the trailers out of storage and headed down the Murrieta brach .The dmv check-in lady took my info and told me to hold and would check to see if this could be done there at the Murrieta aaa assuming she was speaking to a supervisor. I saw her speak with a gal at another desk with a dark  hair pony tail and with no hesitation shook her head no, so without any  research or clearfacation flat no was her answer.   So, the check-in lady came back and told me I would need to complete this with dmv, and nothing more could be done for me there. So very angry about my time and day wasted I called aaa Corp to explain the situation,  the very helpful agent on the phone informed me that that I should go back and try again with her on the phone and  that she would inform the obvious ill trained dmv greeter  as well as her senior member that the service I require can be done at that location with no issues. So I went back with the agent on the phone with me , and wow the greeter agreed to check me in but she added in a snarky kinda way that it would be a long wait thinking to myself it wouldn't have if I  was checked in to begin with . So I sat down next to a gentleman who had been watching what had gone on and said that weeks earlier they did the same thing to him  and that he indeed went to dmv to finish his title process. So finally, after that treatment, I was able to get help from a very helpful and informed agent. The agent was able to handle both of the trailers after physical inspection fees paid. I was on my way. I'm tired of people and piss poor service still using covid as an excuse  why customers service is so bad . I've worked pre during and after and still gave the same exact great service to clients.  It's best to have the answers before you walk into this branch to offset the piss poor service from a few ill trained individuals. read more

I have been a AAA member for about 20 years and have visited many of the club's offices around Southern California. Some offices are busier than others, and some are managed better than others. I recently bought a used car and as always, avoid the DMV and use AAA's vehicle registration services, a massive upgrade over a trip to the DMV. Yesterday I arrived in the early afternoon and had to wait about 40 minutes to be served. The clerk who assisted me was pleasant and efficient. We both realized late into the process of registering my car that the pink slip was the wrong document for the car I purchased, as the VIN number was wrong. At this point, I had already paid the tax and registration fees. When I asked for a refund, I was told that I would need to go the DMV, as they could not issue one. This was incorrect information, as I was told by the DMV in Hemet, a 40-minute drive from Murrieta. I returned to AAA in Murrieta and asked to speak with the manager, who sent his supervisor Nicole to handle my question. This somewhat annoyed me, as I saw another customer get the manager's attention while I was waiting. Nicole made a valient effort to appeal my request with the head office finance department. I was informed that for techincal reasons, they could not issue me a refund, and I would need to write to the DMV in Sacramento to get my money back even though it was appled to a vehicle I did not own, which apparently can take several months to resolve. I then made a call to AAA, and appealed my request to them. Based on my call, Nicole was asked to contact a head office member in the finance area. After a little wait, I was told they could offer me a refund, although it would not be immediate, the funds would be applied to the correct pink slip as soon as I could get it from the guy who sold me my car. Nicole and Linda made a big effort to resolve my appeal, and I am happy to say that on my return to AAA today with the correct pink slip, I was able to resolve the matter to my satisfaction. I would give the office a 5-star rating, if not for the red tape I had to appeal to get the matter resolved. All-in-all, it was still better then dealing with the DMV. Everyone in this office that I dealt with was nice and tried to be helpful. You may need to be politely assertive if you hit a snag. A solid four star experience, with 5 stars to Nicole and Linda. read more

I've been a Member for nearly 45 years. Never have experienced such a lack of professionalism with the front desk staff in any Bay Area, Las Vegas or Southern CA office until today. As I waited patiently to be called to the desk to be checked-in, there were two people manning the desk. The one the left, pretended to he engrossed in a sidebar conversation between another member and staff member. After that conversation ended, this person continued to ignore my presence, and twirl her hair. When it was my turn with the staff member on the right, I asked her what is her partner's function. She seemed hesitant to answer but finally answered she only handles insurance check ins. Okay, sounded like a BS answer to me since I know both sides of the desk will assist all members then ferret out where to send them after checking them in Guess what she immediately started to check in folks behind me with non-insurance issues as well. I will be following up with their Regional office as well. read more

People always complain about the long wait times but this place is always fully staffed and they do the very best they can to accompanies everybody. I've been to this location several times now and the staff is always friendly and willing to help. It's definitely better than going to the DMV that's for sure. I waited well over an hour. But let me explain before we jump to yeah" you will wait an hour it's AAA"... I checked in with the front desk guy. And he was so rude. Had really no idea what he was doing. It was ridiculous. I needed a membership apparently to do anything here. So I signed up for basic towing. But let me rewind. I checked In , the guy said you'll have to sign up for a membership services prior to getting what you needed done. My husband needed a temporary disability plaque due to a motorcycle accident. Broken leg. It's been a horrible 6 weeks. He waited in the car as I waited to be called. Well I waited and waited.. I see people who also needed to "stuff" get called before me. By that time it was 45 min just to sign up.. no one was even in line to get a simple towing application to sign up with the guy chilling in the back in the phone. My husband does insurance so I know how this business is but his company doesn't offer dmv. And I wasn't sitting at the dmv for 3-4 hours. So it was my only choice. I finally walk up to the counter as this guys all of a sudden leaves for lunch.. so then a lady says I can help you .. she's like oh they lost you in the line and it kept getting thrown back between member services. And dmv actions. At that point I'm livid. The guy I put my name wrong. I got thrown back and forth for over an hour. Not knowing what what going on. Super annoying. No apologies. The guy who signed me up for the towing just to use the dmv side was so annoying and rude. Paid about $75 for towing that I'll probably never use. And dmv was $3 cash because they dk t taken card which isn't convenient at all. The girl finally came out from dmv services and took me back after waiting about another 15 minutes saying they'll expedite my name and get me in.. we'll here we are at about an hour and a half. She was nice got it done quickly but still. I can say it was the worst place to be in a slow Tuesday. These people are absolutely unprofessional. read more

I have been with AAA for well over 15 years and have to say I just had a terrible customer service experience with the Murrieta office on the phone today. I am not a Karen or the male equivalent and 9 out of 10 reviews I leave for business's are positive. The person I was speaking to did not understand my question and he rudely put me on hold and then I was disconnected shortly thereafter. I called back and spoke with another person who got me the info I needed and I mentioned the person I spoke to previously was fairly rude and then silence and disconnected. Their prices and services are not so great that I will accept such rude C/S without doing some shopping around now, maybe I'll look into Biberty! That's it, just venting. read more

I spent over an hour being shuffled off to different locations including Roadside assistance when explaining the poor service I received this last year and before renewing I wanted some consolation or refund before renewing - then finally I was waiting (12 Mins.) for a Manager to come online and the Manager named Kay said there was nothing she could do but read me the Company Guidelines - their Managers are handcuffed - Powerless and no reason to listen to a Customers situation or put themselves in the Customers eyes to see things - cut and dry - a robot could do as well but with a different sounding voice. After being a Member for 25-30 years you think there would be some sort of respect given. Nothing gained by calling their phone $'s for Customer Service unless it fits in the parameters of Pay your renewal. This review is for AAA in total, not necessarily this particular location. We have been members for several years. Today my husband was left stranded in 95° heat for over 4 1/2 hours waiting for a tow truck to come and bring him home. AAA assigned a tow service that kept stalling and telling him new arrival times throughout the entire 4 1/2 hours. My husband contacted AAA, and they offered no solution or any offer of an alternative tow service. There's no sense in having this gold membership if they can't provide the service you are paying for. Extremely dissatisfied, and it put my husbands health at a high risk due to the heat, and his current heart condition. He called several times for updates . The last two representatives were uncaring and rude. What a joke. read more

The office is wonderful with helpful staff but do not get their car insurance under any circumstances, the insurance claim handler and their so called managers are extremely rude they do not help you with anything, they also act as if they are against you not working for you, after 40 years as a member we made a big mistake of getting their lousy car insurance, if you have Yvette as your claim rep. This place is crazy on Saturday at opening. Got here at 10:05am and left at 11:00am still not being helped. Still had a few people a head of us. In the 55 minutes we sat there they only called 3 people back. So I guess we could have been there all day! Soooo if you want to do business at this AAA DON'T do it on a Saturday. Some people were getting pretty mad and nasty. No need for all the cussing and loud talking. They will get to us all when they call your name. Don't have the time to wait? Take yourself off the list and leave like we did! Now onto another note.. if their going to be open Saturday they need more staff.
