I called for a tow at 10:30 at night because of a flat tire I told them which tire was flat and and they said that they would be there in about 45 minutes they always ask if you are in a safe location I was at a residence which I told them. they finally showed up at 3:30 am 5 hours later. I work 10 hours a day starting at 6:30 I tried to get some sleep in a recliner and they would call every hour and a half and see if I was safe after telling them I was at a residence at which point they woke up everyone in the house. I am personally holding triple a responsible for my safety to and from my place of work as I am short on sleep due to being lied to and there lack of calling for a tow truck in a reasonable amount of time and if there contracts are so bad for tow trucks in our area then quit selling the service and giving people hope that help is on the way. The tow truck shows up at 3:30 am and they brought a regular truck not a flat bed truck then he tells me that he can tow it backwards and I told him that would hurt the tranny and he said that he could dolly it and and I told him that I was holding triple a responsible for any damage to my struts or shocks or any other part of my car . The service was horrible the people who called were rude and who forgot about the flat tire, And why would they request anything other than a flat bed tow truck? I have been with triple a for almost 40 years and i would expect better service then I received last night. What if it was your daughter out there waiting for a tow truck? Would you be happy with 5 hours of waiting? The tow company blamed it on triple a and triple a blamed it on the tow company so who really dropped the ball? I havent used triple a in quite a few years as I have not needed to be towed is this the service we will receive? I would definetly look around at towing services and remember if you want your child out for 5 hours waiting on a tow truck. from what I can see and have experienced it is not what it used to be. read more

Very pleased with Sheila and how she educated me on auto policies. She showed true knowledge on coverage and gave great "if" examples. One great attribute was not pushing me towards a AAA policy but to attain the best policy for me. She briefly talked about her history at AAA and made me feel comfortable that I was in good hands. From a late night online quote to her contacting me the following day, I was able to get everything answered and attain a policy in one phone call. I never walked into this location nor any others, who knows if i will ever meet her face to face. For one agent to emotionally touch a prospective customer that much in just one phone call, is very impressive and that is why she deserves every bit of this shout out. I have been going to this location for years to take care of changing titles and registering vehicles. There was a guy there that was very helpful and courteous. I guess he no longer works there and these two snotty girls have taken his place. Talk about lack of customer service!!! They act like they are doing you a favor. These girls need to go!!! They are the definition of rude!! If they are there the next time I'm there and treat me the same way, it will be my last visit to this location. Also, I'll be sure to tell them what little snots they are and will talk to their supervisor. People like them should NOT be in customer service positions!! read more

So, have had AAA for 12 years and have never had to use them. Today I called. Our 2005 Ford F150 truck has a dead battery. Husband had chemotherapy this afternoon and is in no shape to change a battery. Battery is DEAD and needs to be replaced. Guess what, they don't have a battery to replace this one. Not that they don't have one on their truck, they don't have one in stock. The girl I spoke to on the phone, offered to tow our truck. Tow it where? It's at home in our garage! Does thus make any sense at all? Her only offer was " let us tow you" we couldn't get it they her head we did not need a tow, we need a battery. Canceling this worthless $200.00( ish) a year service. Service for what? I would like to update this review in all fairness. I received a phone call from AAA a few days later as I also wrote to them describing the above incident. Krista left 2 messages and apologized for what happened and went above and beyond in compensation. I can only assume the rep we spoke with initially was not familiar with what batteries fit which commonly USA made trucks! I did not know that AAA would buy your vehicle Peter was very nice gave me a decent quote on my car. I was just a little confused because I was asked to hand over my title and vehicle and told a check would be mailed to my home. I have sold cars in the past but NEVER have I been ask to sign my title over give up my car and wait for the check in the mail.... I do not question AAA... I am a AAA member and have been for 20 years. I have always had a positive experience with the employees. I've been a longtime member of AAA but I didn't renew my membership last year, so it's been on my list to renew so that I'm not stranded on the road. Sadly, the AAA location closest to me in Scottsdale closed down, but I found my way to the Greenway location and had a very nice experience! The girl at the front happily helped me renew my membership and update my information. She also gave me a free North America Atlas (score) and a list of all the discounts and benefits for a Triple A membership. It was a very friendly and seamless experience and I will definitely return until a location opens up closer to me! read more

Great service for car titles. They even printed a replacement title for my car so I could sell it. All title etc places charge a fee that's not as cheap as you'd think. But it's close and fast. Don't have to be a member either (not sure if it's cheaper for members). Very nice people, great location, safe (some title places are scary looking!!). read more

Used AAA Paradise Valley to register and title a vehicle purchased from a paraplegic seller. We were directed back to a counter which did not meet ADA height requirements. I expected to pay a convenience fee because the facility was not a state MVD office, but I was also charged an additional convenience fee of approximately $30.00 because I was not a AAA member (or I had the choice to pay approximately $50.00 for a yearly membership fee). Customer service was lacking. The new vehicle title is barely legible. When we were leaving, the seller noted that the exit doors were not very accommodating for a wheelchair bound customer. read more

Needed to get liens removed from my titles (i.e. new title). I had my letters and it was a breeze. The customer lounge was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly. Could have done it for free at the DMV but the DMV is horrible and it was not open on Presidents day when I needed to get this done. I visited AAA to re-title a vehicle, get a license plate and buy car insurance. The employees were extremely helpful and friendly. I have had nothing but great experiences with your company, however, I do have to give a special thanks to Zaia and his services provided today. First of all, he arrived faster than any tow truck driver has ever arrived before! My friend, who was with me, assumed that we would be waiting for at least an hour so he called for an Uber to come get him to take him home while I waited with the car, and to our surprise, Zaia arrived long before a cab did!! Once he was there, he quickly took the necessary steps needed to ensure our safety. That is much appreciated, especially when there are cars zooming by. He was extremely professional and kind and he never once made me feel rushed. I really wanted to give him a tip but I didn't have any cash on me. CAR BUYING WITH PETER AT AAA Hard to come up with a realistic rating for Peter. Maybe 12 or 14 out of 10 First set up a test drive,I am EARLY to everything,so I was happy when we got there and Peter was ready for us 30 min early.We wanted to drive both hybrid and standard models so drove the gas car to the dealer and picked up the hybrid to drive. Peter pointed out details on both cars and gave us info NO car sales person would impart. We ordered a car Peter found one late in the day,We were leaving on an out of state trip the next day at 7am.Peter picked up the car at the dealership AFTER office hours and delivered it to our house a drive of at least 45 miles one way from the dealer.We signed all the paper work.then he spent the time to go over the car and answer all our questions I know Peter spent HOURS on this deal,so we did not have to.5 stars just is not enough read more

Double check or expect to wait! I called the Paradise Valley branch one morning at 9:00 AM to see if I could register my new car at this office. No one answered when I called, so I was required to leave a voice mail and wait for a call back (inconvenient). Thirty minutes later, I received a returned call and I was told that I could register my new car there. However, the employee who called me failed to mention that the AAA car registration department closes one hour for lunch between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Regardless, I arrived at 2:00 but no one was there. I needed to wait until 2:30 before seeing someone because the person who handles car registrations was late to return from lunch and someone else called in sick. If someone calls in sick, who still takes a one-hour lunch? And since when do you close a business for one hour in the middle of the day and not inform your customers? Worse experience than the DMV. I ended up with a broken key today & fortunately I have AAA roadside assistance. I wasn't sure if they'd be able to help since my key has a chip in it, but I set up a service call and Keith, the service member, arrived at my house within 15 minutes. Keith was very friendly and handled the situation quickly and professionally. I ended up being able to get my spare key reprogrammed to my car, along with a new key with a chip in it for less than $50!! Upon entering the location on Greenway I was greeted by receptionist that was informed professional and courteous. I cannot say as much for the representative that helped me from that point on. I needed information on passports and the current situation in Arizona with driver's license as identification. The receptionist was knowledgeable however referred me to the representative for factual review. After taking my picture the representative who never gave her name, did not answer any of my questions directly she referred me to the website and said "I can give you forms that you can fill out that will give you all the information you need". I asked about passport vs passport and card and she said Oh yes one you can fly to Canada or Mexico with and the other you can only drive. A big piece of information that would have been helpful to know without having to go to the website. I said that I needed airfare hotel and car rental information for my destination and I was told that's available online, here are your pictures thank you. Her lack of patience continued ending with I would just give $200 to the courthouse and cross my fingers as to when you will get your passport. It gets worse however the punchline to this joke of customer service, is that on my way out I told the receptionist that I had someone who must have had a bad day, her answer was but it's Friday and you're our client. read more

We recently bought a log home up in Northern AZ, along with an ATV (toy for my husband). We had family coming to stay at the cabin over the weekend and were in a hurry to get the ATV licensed so that we could use it. My husband suggested I take the title to AAA, and they would be able to help me. Who knew? After a very short wait, a representative was able to help transfer the title, and provide a new plate and decals for it. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. The only reason I didn't rate AAA 5 stars is the gal who helped me wasn't very friendly. She did her job, but without a smile. Attitude makes all the difference, perhaps it was because it was the end of the day. All in all, a good experience. read more
