I wish I had good things to say about this company. I brought them out to help us solve an issue with water run off from our roof staining our patio. They put together a plan, as they are the experts, and i signed off on it. The last rain we had it was clear that the solution they provided did not fix the issue. I reached out to them and they are now telling me that there is a minimum charge of $400 to fix the issue. This is absurd and the company does not stand behind their work. There are many gutter companies out there, I would recommend finding a company that will stand behind their products and work. I worked with Robert Valenzuela, he has proven to be very argumentative and unwilling to exercise decent customer service.

Small carport. Only 5 to 6 feet of w pan and 3 posts. Over priced !! Keep looking for a reputable company.

Keep looking !! Dave J is as smooth a silk with his double talk ! Told me a bunch of fees were included with the price. When I received the final bill...surprise, there were almost 400.00 in fees. Bait and switch. I definitely would NOT recommend AAA sun control to anyone !

Very poor customer service. Very unprofessional. Customer service is what sets the companies apart. This company has the worst customer support. Product and price are usually within a close marginal range, so that is not a major consideration. I chose AAA Sun because of their high customer reviews, however I did not find that to be the case. Sid came out to give an estimate to have all of my windows and two sliding doors done with 80% sunscreens. After giving it some thought I decided I wanted to upgrade a few windows to 90%. Sid changed the estimate accordingly with no problems. The only thing left was to choose screen and frame color and pay deposit. I spoke to Natalie to do this. I told her my door frames were dark and I wanted the screens as close to that color as possible. I explained my computer crashed and I could not access the internet nor could I use the library computers due to COVID closures. She had me text pictures to her of my door frame. She also sent me a picture of their "darkest" frame. The picture she sent had a light tan color frame even though she had a picture of my door frame to use as a guide. Pictures are of my frame I sent, and frame color she sent as a selection. I knew there should be a darker frame that would closely match. (On their website they do have the exact color of my door frame, although I did not know that at the time). She suggested that Sid come out again with a sample. This was a satisfactory suggestion since I wanted to know ahead of time exactly what I was getting and what I was paying for. I also had to sign the contract, which he would bring. She did not give me a date or time that he would come out. She said that he would call me. He finally sent a text the afternoon before he was supposed to come out. I already had a commitment for that day and with such a short notice was unable to change it. I let him know and wanted to pick another time or reschedule. He then sent a rude text stating I would need to find another company. I called the company and spoke to the manager, Christine. She acted as though wanting to verify the color choice was an unreasonable request, even though this is something that is apparently important enough that they have separate places on their contract for screen and frame color selections they want initialed. She informed me that they would not be able to satisfactorily complete the job. She also followed up with an email stating "the small details appear to be of great concern which creates a concern on our end that meeting the expectations at the end may not be achievable." Apparently color choice is now a "small detail" that this company believes it cannot manage or meet. This is the most rude and unprofessional experience I have ever had with a company. They may have had good reviews in the past but they are definitely letting their growth abandon their professionalism, courtesy and customer service. I am thankful I found this out before paying them. I am sure they have more competent competitors that are not challenged by the "small details" of color choice.

I have used the company twice and I have been very pleased with my sun screens. It definitely makes a difference with the AC bill. Worth it.

Disappointing experience with Ruben. Will unfortunately need to use another company for the remaining projects at our home.

Be very careful with their pricing tactics. Always get another price before doing business with AAA Sun Control.

Kevin has been fabulous to work with and it has been the best purchase we have ever made for our home! It was a bit expensive, but worth every penny!! We now love our patio and can use it day and night. We had to stay inside when we were getting eaten alive by mosquitos. Next we found out our daughter was allergic to bee stings, so we stayed inside. If it wasn't mosquitos or bees, it was the evening moths flying around our heads. The screens allow us to control the amount of sun, heat, wind, and stop the flying bugs and crawling critters that came onto our patio and into our house. We love sitting outside in the morning on our shaded patio. We can now dine outside without annoying pests. We regularly open our patio doors for fresh air. It has been a fabulous way to enjoy the outdoors and expand our living space. Kevin is a meticulous contractor and we could not be more pleased with his product and service. Highly recommend!!!

We got the quote and scheduled a timeframe to begin the install. Mario came out and put up the poles first and then about a week and a half later came in to complete the install as discussed. He was very professional and fun to interact with and took pride is his work. He appeared to be almost as excited about the job as we were. This is the type of folks you want handling a big job. We have a couple more items to be done at a later time, but we will most definitely be using them again. Side note, we live in an historic district home, and we have neighbors interested as well. The work compliments the historic design. Great experience and thanks again Kevin and Mario!!

We contracted Greenheart Landscapes for a large, complicated backyard project. One key piece was a patio cover extension over newly installed pavers. We are very pleased with the final results. Our patio basically doubled in size and now features recessed lighting, a stylish outdoor fan, and a TV, all ready for our next party. What I really appreciate about working with this team is that not only is their craftsmanship top quality, but they also come prepared with thoughtful recommendations and options that fit your lifestyle. It's also a benefit that they work closely with the landscape team, allowing them to better coordinate installation timelines and other aspects of the project seamlessly. During the project, we had our roof redone (poor timing on our part), which resulted in a lot of dirt and debris falling off the house. In spite of that, the Pergola team were absolute professionals, accommodating the roofing team and ensuring everything went smoothly. Thanks again to Irene, Dagney, Mike, and the whole team for being so communicative and responsive - helping to make our backyard come to life!

Excellent Sales, Poor Workmanship, Ignored by the Company…read more I found AZ Shade Masters at a recent home show and was impressed with their presentation, product, and information about pergola options. I obtained bids from four firms and AZ Shade Masters provided a detailed and competitive bid for my planned 4K Aluminum pergola. Unfortunately, the installation is where things went sideways, and AZ Shade Masters ignored my concerns: 1. White caulk on the roof is visible from ground level - The installer advised "I" can fix this by painting the caulk with matching spray paint, but it may take several coats. 2. Closer inspection with a ladder revealed caulk haphazardly applied with drips left wherever they fell. 3. Frame beams were cut too short, and gaps are filled with wide beads of painted caulk. 4. Metal shavings were left in the rain gutter along with a metal scrap cut to allow water drainage. 5. Gussets of unequal length were accidentally installed requiring the correctly sized shorter gusset to be replaced to match the longer to avoid leaving exposed holes in the posts. The installers had the design plan in hand but suggested they could install my pergola however I wanted. I stressed several times they should follow the plan and was forced to correct them when they attempted to deviate (for example: eliminating gussets when they were to be included and sloping the frame beams instead of installing them level). One even suggested I was "OCD" for insisting they follow the plan. (I DID accept one of their suggestions and shortened the pergola height by six inches which was a solid recommendation). After discovering the caulk issues, I texted photos to both my salesman and the company manager. I also left voicemails and a message with the showroom. I connected with the salesman who advised some aspects of the caulking are "normal" but not all and he deferred to his manager for any remediation. I have heard nothing since from AZ Shade Masters. While the crew was personable, installation quality leaves much to be desired (the photos speak for themselves). I should note the installers have the customer sign a form that there are no concerns after installation is complete. I signed as I was largely satisfied and the pergola looks good at first glance, but closer inspection reveals issues not apparent from ground level. These issues combined with the lack of response from the company prevent me from recommending AZ Shade Masters.
