I think the biggest concern I had about this company is that when we had to install the air conditioner later on when it was warmer, the technician that came out was incredibly rude to my husband when he pointed out a preference he was hoping for either the cement block placement. When we brought up our concerns directly to the sales rep, particularly the way he was treated him as a person of color. This company dismissed his experience and tried to justify it as something else. I would really encourage them to make sure their various staff who interact with customers (who pay thousands of dollars for their product) have a clear understanding of what quality customer service needs to be.

When the weather warmed I wasn't entirely satisfied with the cooling aspect. The smart thermostat is complicated and doesn't come with a manual. When I reached out, they scheduled a service call combined with final inspection. The tech was great, made necessary adjustments to the coolant and fan. Equally important- he took the time to go through the features of the thermostat that I didn't understand before. Between the adjustments and new knowledge, I was cool and comfortable in no time. The tech was great at explaining how the system works, and even said we could call him directly with subsequent questions. I would absolutely recommend Standard.

He asked about any cold or hot spots, took a bunch of measurements, and did some calculations. We talked about our options, and he answered all of our questions thoroughly. They offered many financing options to choose from. When we agreed on an install date, Ben showed up in the morning. He explained what he was going to do per quote & got to work. He installed walking mats to protect the carpet & put in a long day. He started with the demo. We both remarked how quiet he was & we were both able to work upstairs. They pulled permits & had a separate gas guy and a couple of electricians to assist. When it was completed, they showed us what was done & how it operates. We ended up with 25 months same as cash financing & an extra year on the factory 10 yr. warranty for a total of 11 years! They left us with 3 extra filters too. The weren't the cheapest quote but we wanted someone who would be around in the future that we could count on if problems arose. I will highly recommend them to anyone that needs work.
