When Colleen informed you that the boys are "good to go," she was referring to us having a script and having all paperwork completed. We are out of network and you know this information as you have received services with us in the past as well and you know we are out of network. INFORMATION FOR PARENTS: My son hadn't been at Speech House for a long time. The owner (Maria) took a 2-month break. We had a 7-year treatment history with her. After her request she rarely answered emails. I tried to start services again, she would say we could start soon, disappear again, and then lie about not getting emails. This was not only affecting my child, but incredibly disrespectful. I finally gave up. Over a year later the occupational therapist for BOTH my boys tells me she is transferring from her current company to Speech House in 2 months and transferring clients with her. She been our therapist for years. This is when I'm also told the owner (Maria) now has an army of office staff. I realize she's been spending her time creating a puppy mill business. This was her concern instead her clients. I'm also offered speech again with us moving over, but with a different therapist. For the next two month's the OT keeps telling me everything is "good to go" according to Speech House. We are asked to get referrals from our pediatrician and provided our insurance information. I'm never contacted further by the office. Then the day before the change my insurance calls to let me know this company is OUT of network THE SAME DAY authorization is sent by Speech House. Knowing this beforehand they said nothing. They waited until the day before the change to send this to our insurance! Later the owner (above) attempts to blame parents for not knowing who she is currently contract with for insurance. At the time when my insurance called, I immediately reached out to the Speech House. They casually offered to switch to "cash pay" for $600 monthly, like it's no big deal. I was placed in a horrible position. Do this or loose services. You can wait a year or more to replace lost therapy. I have two boys and two different therapies now at stake. But I had no choice but to decline cash paying. Only then did they offer to do a letter of agreement with my insurance so they would be paid as "in network. But they wanted me to do it for them. I stop my workday to spend hours dealing with the situation. Our insurance then advised I could not negotiate an agreement on behalf of Speech House. Plus, the current authorization must be canceled. A letter of agreement cannot be done if out of network service is authorized. I call Speech House again and provide this information to contact our carrier directly. I get an attitude as if I'm putting them out after putting me in this situation. An approval response is 10 days. I'm told they will handle this. Our OT then calls the office as well to follow up and was discouraged from being involved. Two weeks later I get an email telling me to approve the previous authorization again, which I remind them that's approving cash pay and a letter of agreement was to be requested. The next week I'm sent another email stating BOTH my children's spots for OT AND SPEECH were given away and have a nice day. I was shocked. The owner then explains they are not "obligated" to do a letter of agreement, but they will not send me a bill!!! Then I realize a letter of agreement was never requested with our insurance. They just kept pushing for an authorization to cash pay and then canceled my boys services instead. They also cannot legally send a bill when we NEVER had services with Speech house AND the speech therapist never saw my son. If you enjoy dealing with a company who is dishonest, rude, has no accountability for their actions, runs a puppy mill for money over children, dealing with the owner Maria who has no moral compass, being blamed for their negligence, or screwing over your special needs children for at least a year.... this is your place!!! Wow! I really wish there were more reviews for TMG. They're AMAZING! We were paired up with them…read morethrough the Nevada Early Intervention program close to a year ago. Honestly, I wish I found them sooner. Kiddos age out of the program at age 3 and mine turns 3 in January. Anywho, Mark, Ayanna, and Myra have been a blessing. They're kind, patient, observant, and offer great advice. Because we were accepted into a program, they came to our house regularly but their office was very nice as we had to go there once for his initial assessment. It was very clean and inviting to families. If you're coming through the NV Early Intervention program, I highly recommend doing the assessment in office vs online. It's just my opinion but I feel like they get a better first assessment of your kiddo that way. Side note, they aren't limited to the program, you can walk in as a new patient and I think they take most insurances. (Don't quote me on that.) Mark was our speech therapist and today was our last session. Shortly after leaving my kiddo was crying for him to come back. That broke my heart but speaks volumes for how well he works with kiddos. Mark was always happy to answer questions and give thoughtful feedback during every session. I saw lots of progress from the time we started up until now. Ayanna is our developmental specialist and her advice and direction is worth its weight in gold. Lines of communication were always open and she even attended my kiddos meeting with CCSD to advocate for his eligibility in the Child Find program. She even got my kiddo into an 8 week play group at UNLV TWICE which really helped his interactions with other kids his age, adults that aren't family, and sharing. Myra was our occupational therapist. She was assigned just a couple months ago to help with eating concerns with my kiddo. I wish we had more time with her because this issue definitely needs more time and work. We got lots of great advice to move forward though. I'll definitely miss these folks. Their staff are some of the most caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated professionals and therapists you will find. We received speech, occupational, and physical therapy services, in addition to working with a developmental specialist. They are very professional and reliable. We felt so supported and literally did not have a single complaint through out the several years we worked with them. Both of our children that received services through TMG made huge strides and met all of their goals. We grew to love each and every therapist and specialist that worked with our child. Having worked with other therapy providers in the city, I can confidently recommend TMG. We are so grateful to TMG for helping our children thrive and being apart of our journey!

1 Star - A Disappointing and Demeaning Experience for a Child Who Deserves Better…read more What happened to my daughter and me at SpeakEasy Therapy demands to be addressed--not just as a parent, but as a professional who understands how healthcare systems should work. Let's start with the facts: My daughter was removed from the OT schedule due to attendance. Fair enough--we missed sessions. But the way this was communicated was profoundly unprofessional and downright disrespectful. I mistakenly mixed up our appointment time by an hour and showed up late. As I stood at the front counter, the scheduler texted me that we had been removed from the schedule--while I was literally standing right there. That's how they chose to deliver the news: through a passive-aggressive text message instead of a face-to-face conversation or even a private call. To make it worse, the front desk assistant casually stated that "even her therapist said attendance had been an issue," making it very clear there were internal discussions happening about my daughter without including me--the parent responsible for her care. If there were concerns, why not reach out sooner? Why wasn't I looped in to collaborate on a solution? Then came the whiplash: I was offered a spot the very next day, but no one told me the therapist had changed. Nova, my daughter, excitedly walked in and was completely ignored by the new therapist--who walked right by us like we didn't exist. That's not just poor communication--that's harmful for a 6-year-old child who needs connection, routine, and support to thrive. At this point, I requested a copy of our attendance records and asked for the corporate contact info. Suddenly, the manager, Quintana, got on the phone--a bit late to "manage," if you ask me. I made it clear I hadn't asked to speak with her, told her I'd follow up on my own, and ended the call politely. Those records never came. When I followed up through the main records office, I learned they didn't even have my correct email on file. How are families supposed to access care when your systems are this sloppy? I asked multiple times for a copy of the attendance policy. I was told to call the clinic. I did. They told me to call the scheduler. So, which is it? At that point, it felt like everyone was dodging accountability. Two weeks later, I finally received the original policy--which we had agreed to. I accept that we violated the policy--but there are a million more professional and compassionate ways to address it, especially when the child in question is neurodivergent and trying to access critical therapy services. After a month of being bounced around, I found a voicemail from a man named Michael--maybe a regional director or owner? I called him back and cried on the phone explaining the trauma and hardship we've endured over the past year, only to be met with a few sympathetic words and...nothing. No follow-up. No support. No restoration of services. Just radio silence. Entire summer: wasted. No therapy, no resolution, no accountability. My daughter was punished for my scheduling mistake, and our entire family paid the price. SpeakEasy, if you truly value children and families, then treat them like partners--not problems. If you're going to make administrative decisions that affect a child's therapy, you must communicate them in a human, respectful, and compassionate way. You failed my daughter. You failed me. And your system failed itself. Parents: be cautious. If your child needs consistency, empathy, and professional care, this is not the place.

Great therapy (5 stars) but case management is less than stellar (2 stars.) Be prepared for…read moreconstant surprises and last-minute changes; constant reminders and checks are necessary. Our brother had a stroke in April 2024. We enrolled him in NCEP as a day patient, then transferred to the in-patient setting. The multi-pronged therapy seemed excellent, and he made great improvements. However, we were constantly being surprised by the case managers. They are either very overtasked (likely) or undertrained, and both we worked with never seemed to remember exactly which client they were talking about. The transfer from day to in-residence wasn't smooth; I don't know if the case managers talked at all. There is NO access to their supervisors, which became a huge issue for us. (None of us live in the Las Vegas area, which made communication even more challenging, although with email and phones it shouldn't be.) The transition out of NCEP was terrible. In the July progress meeting, the case manager had told us that our brother was doing great, and they loved having him in the program, and wanted him to continue for the foreseeable future. Less than a month later, we were asked what our long-term housing and transition plan was, because they wanted our brother to leave the program immediately. And the case manager had taken it upon herself to speak to our brother about living with one of us, which we'd already told her several times was NOT an option. She seems to have memory issues and poor note-taking skills. I then sent a sternly-worded email expressing our surprise, dismay, and unhappiness. We had an in-person meeting, where they explained that our brother's progress had slowed, and the intense therapy they offered was no longer appropriate. Which I completely understand, however, that's not what the case manager had previously told us. She also told us he couldn't stay in 1915i housing, which is NOT true. We agreed that he could move to a different location with less supervision, but the program housing is administered by the Nevada Medicaid 1915i provisions, not NCEP directly. They do not have the right to kick anyone out. At this point, I really wanted to speak with a supervisor, but that is impossible--there is no public listing available, and the case manager stonewalled us. Our brother remains in 1915i housing, and has actually made great progress all on his own. Because even though the NCEP case manager promised to transition him to day PT, Speech therapy and job counseling, she did NONE of that. She dropped him like a rock. The staff at the housing--who are awesome--had to start from scratch, and get referrals for all his therapy. Therefore, there was a break of almost 2 months in therapy, which should be unacceptable. Fortunately, our brother was self-motivated to improve his walking and reading on his own, and has done remarkably well. I believe the intense therapy NCEP provided gave him a good foundation. However, he might have done even better if the proper transition had occurred. I have to credit the staff at the housing, too. They are excellent. NCEP's case managers require a lot more training and supervision. And clients should have access to a supervisory level when things go wrong, because they will. I would not hesitate to use their services, but be prepared to advocate for your patient, because you'll need to. I recommend reviewing the Nevada Medicaid 1915i webpage, so that you know the law involved. And I hope that you're better prepared than we were for the lack of transition out of the program.

You get into the room and you sit there with your child while the therapist sits on the computer doing what ever it is they're doing, and then they engage with your child after 10-15 minutes of them typing on the computer. I drove 30 minutes twice a week to this place just to get half-assed therapy sessions for my child who has a pretty significant speech delay and needs help.
