If you're seeing…read morethis review because you know you're about to drop a lot of money on your car for repair or maintenance, and you've been burned before, this Burt Brothers is wonderful. They're very reliable, will treat you with kindness and respect (as long as you're not a jerk), and they won't take advantage of you like many shops have been known to do. Their pricing is fair, but often a lot less expensive than competitors. They're very fast, but can also be very patient and flexible with you if you're not in a hurry. No one is perfect-- they're human, too-- and anyone can make a mistake, but if that were to happen, they'll make it right. I've been to a couple of Burt Brothers locations, and would recommend the company generally based on my experiences, but I've been returning to this location now for years. Car trouble sucks, but I know that if it's something I can't fix myself, this is the first place I go. I've had a couple different vehicles serviced there multiple times each (standard maintenance and breakdowns), and I've come to greatly appreciate and trust them. In the past 20 years, I've dealt with dozens of different mechanics and shops with many different vehicles. Of those others, more often than not, I've regretted them. There are all sorts of reasons to worry about taking your car to a shop you've not been to. I'm very glad this Burt Brothers location was recommended to me, and that I listened to that recommendation. If you're still reading, rather than list all of the specific services they've gotten right, I'm going to tell you about what happened when something didn't go perfectly. A few years after purchasing my dream car with high mileage, and many nightmare services later (other unrelated shops), I took it to Burt Brothers. They repeatedly did a fantastic job, so I planned to return as needed. Eventually, it needed a very important service... The kind that can either extend a car's life for years, or if not done properly, kill it in days. The service seemed to go well, but unfortunately, a few miles down the road, I realized something was wrong. I quickly returned. A new tech on the team had missed a few critical bolts during reassembly, meaning the whole job had to be done over again. They were very apologetic, took accountability, and fixed the problem-- for no extra charge. (I've been through this kind of situation a few times, and other shops haven't hesitated to charge me for their mistakes, and try to lie about it as being something else that made it 'not their fault.') I was very glad Burt Brothers quickly made it right-- this makes them stand out to me as exemplary if for no other reason. Sadly, the mistake that had been made did result in a different part becoming damaged and failing a few weeks later. Worse, the car was not within a reasonable towing distance to Burt Brothers, so I ended up having to take it to a different shop... where I was reminded of just how much less Burt Brothers charges compared to many others. That shop completed the new repairs, and I emailed the manager at Burt Brothers about it to see if they could help offset the cost a little bit. I didn't receive a reply, but only because it turned out that he was no longer the manager there, so my email was never received. A little over a year later (a few weeks ago as of this post), the car broke down again-- it seemed like it was the exact same problem as the previous one. This time it happened close enough to take it back to this Burt Brothers location, so I didn't hesitate. When the new manager introduced himself, I explained the new and previous/ongoing situations. He was very apologetic and understanding. It turned out that this new repair was not related to the previous error, rather a very old part failed and led to similar symptoms... but because of the previous situations (and really, it seems, because they are just that caring to their customers), he offered a decreased rate that helped our family immensely. He definitely did not have to do that, and I'd argue that most places would not have, but he did... Demonstrating to me that Burt Brothers is definitively better than all other shops I've dealt with, and absolutely stands out as being a remarkably caring, professional, trustworthy, excellent business. I'd honestly still say that even if he hadn't. He and they truly did go above and beyond what they needed to. I don't even live in the area anymore, but I'll go out of my way in the future to return for their services; they certainly went out of their way to take care of me. They've got a customer for life.

We were given conflicting information about whether the part had arrived. Eventually, we decided to show up in person because we were getting nowhere over the phone. When we arrived, our car was already finished and sitting in the parking lot, yet no one had called us to tell us it was done. If we hadn't shown up when we did, there's no telling how long our car would have sat there. Despite being told 2 hours, having our car held overnight without notice, and receiving zero proactive communication, we were still charged full diagnostic and repair costs with no adjustment offered. Mistakes happen -- but the lack of communication, accountability, and basic courtesy is unacceptable. We will not be returning and would caution others to be very clear about timelines and expectations before leaving their vehicle here.
