I had a new timing chain, tensioner, etc installed by them on my 2014 VW Jetta. I also needed a diag done to find issues for it to pass inspection. Along the way they found a bad coil spring, so they replaced that as well. I got it back and it was almost like driving a brand new Jetta. I then noticed that my left headlight didn't work on low beam. My son took it back in as it is his car while at college and they replaced the bulb at no charge. I know, a bulb is a small price, but they replaced it and got it working and now he's at college with a decent and safe vehicle. I would definitely go back to have work done on any of my vehicles. Do not use this shop, A basic Service turned into a $3500 bill. 9 days and one contact update. The description of service was 14 words. Labor to remove pan bolts and rebuild valve body. 7 Bolts broken off ( known issue , but 7 ) I guess break them off and charge customer. I paid in cash and took my car key off the desk, when I asked for my receipt they claimed they wouldn't accept my $2s as payment and use scare tactics of threatening to call the cops if I didn't go to bank and switch them out for something they'd seen before. Then the manager came out in the parking lot to confront me about the well deserved 1 star review I'd left on Google on this same matter to which I had to tell him to leave me alone. After two very bad experiences with AAMCO transmission, I won't be recommending them to anyone any time soon. The first bad experience was with a family member's Toyota, couldn't get an estimate until the vehicle was apart and disabled in their parking lot, final bill was $5600. Why I went back the second time is a good question. All I needed was two tires, the guy behind the counter was very arrogant, said he had to have the wheels before he could order the tires, I explained I didn't want to tie up the car while waiting for tires, he seemed to understand. I was told he would order them, call me Tuesday and install them Wednesday, never heard back from him so I went back Wednesday with the wheels just to find out he never ordered them, plus he starts giving me an attitude about not being able to order them without having the wheels, at that point I was frustrated and sick of his attitude so I said forget it and walked out. Worst service ever. They "replaced" the transmission. Took 3+ weeks to do a 7.5 hr job. Got it back, drove 15- miles and it won't shift. Took it back to Aamco another 3+ weeks less than 50 miles and it won't shift. They are refusing to fix it even though it's under warranty. Jeff was rude and disrespectful. Brought my Jeep for a transmission rebuild was originally quoted 5k which was astronomical then dropped down to 3k. After multiple months Jeep was returned to have a massive exhaust leak. Jeremy told us exhaust was originally not hooked up and they did this as a favor. We never exhaust problems brought it to a mechanic and under further review they cut through y exhaust removing it. Would not let owner know. This was an additional 750 dollar cost and mechanics pin pointed it to them also with a rebuilt transmission they bever put transmission fluids in. Jeremy treated us like low rate citizens and we had to go else where to have it fixed right I would not recommend them at all please go else where. read more

Auto was overheating. Charged well over $400 to replace coolant reservoir. Overheated three miles down the road. They said they would pay for towing if we called "their guy." Another $400 later, they replaced the thermostat. "Free towing?" Tried to put a review on their website. Couldn't be done. Last fall, drove my transmission to an early death but made it to Concord. In a panic, Jeremy and Courtney treated me right. Next day they had an estimate, worked hard to keep it low with lots of options. Installed a rebuild and it's running strong. Recently had a leak, took it in and they checked it out, fixed it and I'm back in the road...no charge even. My transmission will always go to these guys. If my car needs anything besides a quick oil change, I only go here. Jeremy gets me in and out as fast as he can. He and his staff are friendly so if there's a wait, I don't mind. He won't fix what isn't broken and he gives it to you straight. If he can make a deal he will or at least try his best. You can never go wrong coming here. read more

Aamco had my car for 30 days before I got it back, was told my rebuilt transmission was stolen from the shipping company and had to reorder it. Each time I called for an update I got their BS runaround. Spent $3600 dollars on inferior workmanship, the clutch they installed fell apart in my car after 14 months and 15000 miles. Trnsmission was jammed into the car and bent the backup light switch upon installation, so I had no back lights for the 14 months. Cost me $2000 more to have the clutch replaced and backup switch fixed. Not very good quality control before they hand your car back. The parts they sell and install are junk. The Better Buisness Bureau is a farce if the give this company an A+ rating. STAY AWAY FROM THESE MONKEYS. Should be ZERO stars. read more
