WARNING ALL CONSUMERS (If you were given actual poor services by this organization, you can pursue lawsuit) I had service done at this shop and would strongly recommend that others explore alternative transmission repair options. The pricing here was actually higher than what the dealership quoted, which was unexpected given the level of service received. Customer service and communication throughout the process were poor. After the repair, the clutch continued to make a rattling noise. When I brought it back in, I was told there was no issue, without any clear explanation or attempt at resolution. The lack of accountability and transparency was frustrating. Consumers should be aware that we have rights under state and federal laws. If a business misrepresents services or fails to deliver them as promised, it could constitute consumer fraud. In such cases, consumer protection attorneys may be able to assist with legal remedies. Easy to file a lawsuit at Burlington County Superior Court. Cheaper to get an attorney than it was worth fixing the car. Save yourself the time, cost, and hassle, I would have been better off going to the dealership from the beginning. Lesson learned. Lawsuit completed and rectified. read more

Still waiting for my car going on 2 weeks for a job that there own work order says takes 1 and a half hours. This is without a doubt the worst place I have ever been to in my 6 plus decades on this earth. Ignorant people who will not help you cannot even answer the most simplest of questions. At this point I have to question if they are even mechanics. Don't believe me look up the reviews and also how many times people end up in court with them . Wish I did. If you want them to tell you a repair will "$800-$1800 tops" and then have them take your transmission apart and tell you a rebuild and replacement would both be over $5000 this place is for you. 2 other shops had told me $3,500 for a rebuild and $3,900 for transmission swap. They also damaged my engine where you bolt the transmission onto the engine as you can see where the oil is leaking from in the picture. The truck is also grinding when it starts and the electrical components inside the cab of the truck start flashing. The starter is brand new. They did a full diagnostics test of the vehicle and told me everything was good mechanically with the truck other than the transmission. These people are the worst kind of people and I would highly recommend not taking your vehicle there unless you want to end up going to court over the damage they obviously cause to your vehicle that they'll fix for higher prices then most other shops.You do not get what you pay for here. My truck is in worse condition then when I dropped it off to them and Im down $5100 on top of it. STAY AWAY! read more

I put my car in this shop over 3 weeks ago and still am waiting for it. They convinced me to have them replace my transmission and charged me over 5500 dollars which they are in receipt of. Whether or not the service is performed well remains to be seen and I won't know until I get back the car bui I receive no updates on their progress unless I call them. Every time I call I'm given another excuse, told that the car will be ready in a few more days and when the designated day comes I hear nothing. This is unacceptable. read more

So unfortunately my tran goes bad on my 2011 Altima. Just got done spending $1200 on an ac compressor along with other repairs within a month. I was devastated. I didn't know where to bring it to for repair. I finally got it towed to Aamco from the Nissan dealership in Cherry Hill. Well to make a long story short, after a week - I finally picked up my car yesterday. Cost? $3838.00. It rides good. I have to bring it back in 10 days for some sort of check. I went to the Delran AAMCO because my 2001 Dodge Dakota was experiencing transmission issues. The transmission wasn't shifting properly. After about 5 days Mario's crew worked their automotive magic and my truck shifts from gear to gear very smoothly now. I drive my truck daily and have not had anymore transmission issues thanks to Mario and his team. During the work on my transmission it was also discovered that my exhaust pipe was loose and Mario not only replaced a part in this process free of charge (what would have cost me $70!) but also referred me to another mechanic who could repair my exhaust pipe. Mario and everyone at the Delran AAMCO was superb from the customer service end to the actual maintenance on my vehicle. read more

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!!! THIS IS A LONG REVIEW BUT PLEASE READ IT BECAUSE IT COULD SAVE YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES FROM BECOMING A VICTIM!!!!!!! My mother had trouble starting her vehicle. On the rare occasion that she could get it started, it would shut off on her. She took the vehicle to this AAMCO Dec 12th, 2018 to have it fixed. AAMCO and a technician from her insurance company did some testing and decided the truck needed a new engine. They started the work in mid Dec and my mom still doesn't have her vehicle. Each time they give her a date to pick up the truck, they'll call her (just hours before pick up) stating the truck isn't running right and they don't want to release it to her unless it's completely road ready. So pretty much they were giving her the run around. They also told my mother she had to pay cash or take out an $800 loan to pay the remaining balance of the repairs because her insurance company didn't cover the full amount. My mother spoke with the owner Kam because he told her that he could get her a 12 month loan at 0% interest if the loan is paid off in that 12 months. My mother agreed to what Kam told her regarding the loan vs reading the info thoroughly. When she asked for a copy of the loan paperwork, they told her their printer wasn't working so she left empty handing and naively trusting the owner. My mother started getting frustrated with getting the run around so she finally called me to tell me the situation. I live in another state but I too am a mechanic. After getting all the info from my mother, her insurance company and speaking with AAMCO multiple times, I see that AAMCO's practices are negligent. They tried to give me the run around but I caught them in lies. I personally drove to NJ to handle this situation for my mother. After going to the shop and speaking with the manager (Mike) and owner (Kam) 1/15/19, they promised the truck would be ready for pick up 1/18/19. My mother still doesn't have her truck. While I was there, I told them to give me a print out of the problems they found with her truck and the loan documents. They claimed the printer wasn't working but I told them I would sit there until they fixed it. Miraculously the printer wasn't broken but the paperwork was supposedly printing in the owner's office. I looked over the issues and her loan contract and I saw that my mother's loan wasn't for the $800 she was quoted; it was actually almost $1100. And the terms weren't 12 months without interest; it was for 3 months and if she didn't fully pay it off in that timeframe, her interest would be 154%. When I told them the loan was bogus and I asked what happened to the loan my mom discussed with Kam. Kam told me she didn't qualify for the 12 month loan so he had to give her the 3 month loan. When I asked my mom in front of Kam, did he tell her she didn't qualify for the original 12 month loan terms she said no; when she signed for the loan, she understood that she was signing for the 12month terms. Kam did not dispute that he didn't tell her the terms of the loan were different, he just said she signed the loan. I also reminded Kam that he never gave her a hardcopy nor email copy of the loan agreement he said she signed; he didn't have a reply. This place clearly takes advantage of people (especially older woman) because while I was there hashing out my mom's issues, some other woman called unhappy about her loan terms. This woman also took out a loan with AAMCO's affiliates. I could hear the conversation as Kam was on the phone with her. As of 1/15/19 I told the owner (Kam) and manager at the time (Mike) to not call my mother regarding updates with her vehicle because she doesn't know anything about cars, they have her stressed out, frustrated and felling as if they took advantage of her. On the 15th, I was told the truck would be ready NLT the 18th of Jan. The date was then pushed back to the 23rd, then the 25th and now the 30th. read more

Issue with car..... bring it in...Seems as though they fixed an unnecessary EXPENSIVE PART ($1500) & car breaks down & smokes/over heats less than a week later. Bring it back, first told by mechanic that it was a "faulty part" that they would fix free. Day later a guy called & said an additional $500 for a different repair!!?? An argument ensued & ended up getting off line with the owner(?) and spoke to the same mechanic who told us it was faulty. So mechanic told us to "order your own part ($12 on amazon) & we will install it free" .... HOW does this make sense? How do you go from $500 down to $12 part?!?! Straight up deceitful and unethical behavior! It's the SAME as trying to STEAL money out of someones pocket! So now, we are wondering if we ever needed the initial work performed, or if it was just for their production! In addition..... we overheard them talking about "meeting their numbers" aka making as much $ as possible to achieve or exceed a production goal!!! I know how businesses work, it is for profit, HOWEVER, do it ETHICALLY! Beware! Educate yourself & get second opinion before agreeing to any car repairs! read more

I've never written a review but the lack of service here has prompted me to do so. From the beginning when they said they would call me when they were getting my car to promising me the fee would remain at a certain price , to telling me they were going to place a part in my car and then when I arrive tell me they decided not to. Horrible! They tried to string me along with additional fees when I gave them a full diagnostic profile from the beginning. Real lack of attention to detail from this establishment. Just found out today after my battery died that AAMCO in Delran NJ switched out a new 2011 battery that AAA installed in Oct 2011. My car wouldn't start today so when AAA came they took the cover off of the battery and it was a 2007 Walmart battery. I asked AAA when they installed my battery and they confirmed it was oct 2011. In May of 2012 AAMCO installed a new transmission and obviously switched them out. No one has touched my car since except for a couple of oil changes. What a bunch of scumbags and thieves over there. Mario is the owner and I blame him for his workers whether he knows about this or not. Stay away from this AAMCO as well as others. This has happened before with the AAMCO on frontage road in cherry hill putting in old parts. These stores are all franchised and all they do is want to save a buck and keep you coming in. After being completely taken advantage of by my dealership, I took my car here and they did the work for less than half the price... but more importantly as a young woman I NEVER felt talked down to or taken advantage of.
