    Leaks

Very dissatisfied after I went in for regular maintenance service on my transmission. To replace the filters and fluid. I had no leaks or issues prior to service but now I have a leaking mess. I was concerned when they pulled me out in the shop to look at the pan. Of course there should be some mettalic material on the magnet as this is normal wear of the clutch material. They were however trying to panic me in to having the transmission overhauled. There were no strands or chunks of clutch material or nay other foreign objects. The other concern I had was how the salesperson Tony McDermott hauntingly stated "Oh you'll be back" I used AAMCO believing they were backed by a national corporate guarantee only to find out they are all independent shops that are just licensing a name for advertisement. If you have a problem at one shop you have to take it back to that shop. With over a dozen one star reviews I am just as frustrated with myself for not reading them before going here.

This is the new engine Chevy v8.

We've been speaking timely, about the rust and contamination inside Engine...Engine must be replaced.. my last visit in march of 2019 still no motors out there, to rebuild said will look up til march 27 if no motor is found will try to send out to rebuild. "We've been talking". I've enclosed a description of the car since our first day of business, we've talked about a Chevy Conversion kit enclosed the condition of my engine before any work, and photos of what I can expect once the work is done. Happy Holidays! LS1 LSx V8 Conversion Kit for Jaguar XJ6, XJ6C, XJ12, XJ12C and XJS Cars Now you can put fantastic LS1 LS2 LS6 LSx power in your Jaguar car!!!! We specialize in Chevy V8 conversion kits for Jaguar cars and now offer one for this latest generation V8 engine family. All of our conversions utilize 90+% off-the-shelf GM style parts (from your local auto parts store) to keep the overall cost of your conversion low, reliability high, and make the car easy to maintain in the future. Your conversion will look like a factory installation when completed as nearly everything used is a GM factory style part. Here is the important info: Jaguar models/years to fit- 70-87 XJ6, XJ6C, XJ12, XJ12C 76-91 XJS (coupe, cabriolet-XJSC, and convertible). (For 93-96 XJS models- requires special crossmember at additional cost- please inquire- call or Email) Engines- any LS based engine, 5.7 L-7.0L displacement; LS1 LS2 LS3 or LS6 all aluminum versions or 4.8-5.3-6.0 truck engines. The basic kit includes: 1) Frame mount adaptors (jig welded assembly) 2) Engine mount adaptor set (precision machined) 3) Rear transmission mount adaptor (jig welded assembly) 4) Rear crossmember (jig welded assembly) 5) Shifter package (special jig-welded shift cable mounting bracket and transmission lever 6) Illustrated, step-by-step conversion manual The conversion is a bolt in requiring no cutting, welding, or drilling on the car, and fit is great. To keep your overall conversion costs low we use: 1) Stock GM accessory drive- we use stock accessories and brackets for the installation (including AC), so no expensive aftermarket parts are required. 2) Stock GM high flow exhaust manifolds- no expensive custom exhaust headers are required. These 2 little details will save you THOUSANDS of dollars on your conversion All of this info is contained in great detail and plenty of photos in our conversion manual, included with the kit. Once the conversion is complete, all of the original Jaguar gauges will read correctly, the original shifter will work properly, the AC will probably work better, and even the factory Jaguar cruise control can be used. Also available are other supporting components for this conversion, such as: 1) Power steering hose sets (pressure and return) 2) Plug in wiring harness for gauges/ignition/AC- to simply hookups for your original Jaguar gauges, ac compressor and more 3) Tachometer adaptor module-so your Jag tach will read correct V8 revs 4) Speedometer interface- required for the electric 84-87 XJ6 and 84-87 XJS speedometer 5) Oil pressure and engine temp gauge sender adaptors 6) VATS bypass unit- no need for expensive computer reprogramming All of these parts will make your conversion a very professional looking and clean. The first photo is of a 74 XJ12L sedan built by a customer using our kit and parts. As you can see, this car came out very nicely, and any end user can easily duplicate these results using our hardware. The second photo is our prototype LS1 install in an 89 XJS convertible. Also a very good fit with plenty of clearance all around. We'd be happy to answer any and all questions, so feel free to ask- Email us (through Ebay) or call: [phone removed by eBay] (Mon-Sat, 7am -8pm Pacific time) SHIPPING WORLDWIDE IS AVAILABLE- PLEASE EMAIL FOR A QUOTE TO YOUR LOCATION

I come here for oil changes, but they always do a thorough inspection and provide a detailed printout of completed and recommended services. What really stands out is that they never pressure me into buying additional services. In fact, they've recommended I go elsewhere when it made more sense for me. They suggested I get a free tire rotation at Discount Tire instead of paying for one there, and they also recommended I have my mechanic replace a belt rather than having them do it--even though they offer both of those services. That honesty goes a long way. On top of the excellent service, the customer experience is outstanding. In the Arizona heat, they offered me a cold bottle of water and gave me the option to wait in their air-conditioned lobby instead of staying in my car while it was turned off. I'm always impressed by their professionalism, transparency, and customer-first approach. It's the only place my household trusts for our vehicles, and I highly recommend them!

I appreciated that they weren't pushy about it--just explained the recommendations and asked if I wanted to add anything. One of the best parts is that you can stay in your car during the entire service. They also have coupons available online, which helped make it a good value. Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely be back.

For a 16-year-old car, it didn't feel right. Before heading home, I stopped by Good Works Auto Body nearby. The owner came out, calmly took a look, reached inside, and adjusted the panel--the problem was gone in seconds. I also showed him the paint scratches on my car, and he gently wiped them off with thinner. Just like that, my car looked clean and blue again. When I asked what I owed, he smiled and said, "I didn't do anything--no charge." I was honestly taken aback. It's rare to meet someone who leads with genuine care instead of trying to make a quick transaction. This kind of integrity stays with you. I highly recommend this shop and will absolutely return.

If they are that good they should have seen the problem from Initial inspection. The problem was exactly the same sir. Unless they charge me for the fan that was not needed . Also second time around they are charging me for another air con inspection fee what a joke, they are taking the piss . They should change the name to Bad Works . I originally chose Christian Brothers on McQueen and Guadalupe because they appeared organized,…read moredetail-oriented, and professional. I purchased four tires for my Ford Transit work van and trusted their recommendation, assuming they were providing the correct tires for the vehicle. Less than a year later, one of the tires began splitting. I took the van to another shop that was closer because I did not feel safe driving all the way back to their shop. It was at the new shop where I was informed that the tires installed on my van were not properly rated to handle the weight of the vehicle and should not have been installed in the first place. I contacted Christian Brothers to explain the situation and was told I would need to drive the van back to their shop -- despite the damaged tire -- for them to determine whether anything would be covered under warranty. While I was getting the quote elsewhere to replace all four tires, Christian Brothers called back and offered a slightly lower price if I purchased another full set through them. In the end, the difference was only about $100 compared to the other shop. A shop I had never even used before, and that was the cost with no additional warranties or discounts (like Christian Brothers was claiming to be giving me). They stated they were giving me tires at cost and not charging for labor, not true. They tried to make it seem like they were doing me some huge favor by giving me such a small discount. Their front desk employee, Eric was as "helpful" as he could be throughout the process, but overall should have pushed harder with his upper management to resolve this. They should have completely comped the price of the old tires as this was their, dangerous mistake. Now they're not only making money off of me but also causing me to lose additional money by missing work to fix a problem they caused. I'm extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled, especially considering the original tires that they chose were improper for a work van like mine. All of this resulted in me needing to purchase two sets of tires within a single year!!! I expressed to them that being without my van would result in loss of money as it is my work vehicle. They had no concern for my time, money and no sense of urgency to resolve the situation that they caused. I had to leave my vehicle with them for more than a day the first time and again overnight the second time. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!
