Called all over Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa and such, and no one really had straight answers regarding my trucks custom exhaust job that's throwing a couple codes. Called Zach over at APA and not only did he squeeze me in today last minute but this truck is gonna pass smog today too

I cannot say enough great things about Crawford's Auto Repair!…read moreI brought my truck in thinking I had a suspension issue because of a squeaky noise that had been getting worse. They got me in quickly, were incredibly friendly from the moment I walked in, and took the time to thoroughly check everything out. It turned out to be something as simple as a loose spare tire, something that could have easily been misdiagnosed elsewhere. What really stood out to me is that they fixed the issue right then and there and didn't charge me anything. That level of honesty and integrity is rare these days. As a woman, it can sometimes feel intimidating trying to find an auto shop you can truly trust. At Crawford's, I felt completely comfortable, respected, and confident that I was being treated fairly, no upselling, no pressure, just genuine help. They've absolutely earned my trust, and I will be coming back for any future car needs. If you're looking for a shop that is honest, knowledgeable, and truly cares about their customers, this is the place to go. Highly, highly recommend!

He said I was the first person in 5 years that had asked for prices to be matched from another nearby mechanic shop. He even said that the prices that they quoted me, that I should go to the other shop instead, was a $60 difference by the way. Was also told by Ken that I wasn't a good customer because I had only done one oil service with them in a year and a half. Will never give Crawford's my business and they're just another auto shop that's dishonest and takes advantage of their customers. Hard to find integrity these days!!

They threw the transmission in the back of my truck with all the parts in boxes. They would not hand over my keys until I paid. Terrible customer service once you decide you don't want their help. They are nice initially so be careful! I am not one to ever complain

I dropped my husbands car off on Thursday to have a transmission leak looked at and they informed…read moreme that I'd have to leave it here because they were understaffed due to covid-19. No big deal. My husband and I are both out of a job so we didn't need two cars. A day goes by then another then another. I don't hear anything from them till Monday morning through a phone call saying they found the leak it would be $300 and there were a few other things wrong with the vehicle as well that would total to $1,300 I told them "wow ok well just do the leak for now" I go to pick up my car later that day and the man gives me a total of $1,300. I inform him no I just had a leak fixed and he said no you agreed to have all of this fixed. Instantly I'm crying making a fool out of myself because I don't have that kind of money considering my husband and I are both out of work. He says "I can call the owner and see what he can do if you leave it here an extra day" so I left it there an extra day. They call the next morning and tell me we can bring it down to $900 but we can't give you the car without it and we can't cut into the labor of our workers. They have NO PHONE RECORDINGS. No proof of anything. And the owner Jim Reap refuses to bring down the cost even though there was a communication error and no proof of who said what. Basically what I'm saying is if you really feel the need to bring your business here BRING YOUR HUSBAND OR FATHER WITH YOU. And DO NOT AGREE TO ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE.

It's uncommon to come across a business that treats you fairly and genuinely cares about your experience throughout the business interaction. What is even more exceptional is finding a business that is able to leave an impression on you not just once, but one that consistently exceeds your expectations. We discovered Stamps when my wife's car was in need of tires. Our first experience brought us back, and every experience since has reaffirmed my opinion that Tim and his team are truly a rare find in the service industry. Most recently, I brought my F250 in for servicing. Of course, it was a weekday morning, trying to get kids to school before heading to work, and the truck won't start. Based on the input of a roadside assistance team, I was expecting to walk out with two new batteries and at least one, if not two alternators (dual alternator vehicle), and a hefty unexpected bill. Once the roadside assistance team got me running, I immediately called Tim and explained the situation. Tim, understanding my need to find a solution before it was time to pick up kids, worked with his schedule and told me that if I came right in, he'd have me ready by that afternoon. When I dropped off the truck, Tim had me in and out, he even drove me back to the house so that I could make arrangements to get to work as quickly as possible. Around lunch Tim called me to let me know that he had checked the entire system (batteries, alternators, starter, wiring, etc) and the good news was that everything checked out except the batteries. Regarding the batteries, I asked his opinion on several brands I'd researched, including some of the top-tier batteries on the market. Tim had every opportunity to up-sell me but that's not how Stamps does business. Instead, he considered my typical vehicle use, and recommended a set of batteries that should last me much longer without breaking the bank. When I picked up the truck that afternoon, Tim was again there to meet me. He explained exactly how they tested the system, what they found, and asked if I had questions....what you typically expect from a good service provider. Tim then told me to check-in with him and let him know if I saw anything out of the ordinary. He specifically told me what conditions to be aware of that might be indicative of another issue and reiterated to call him if there were any other difficulties. This is what, in my opinion, makes Stamps a great service provider. As I was getting ready to leave, Tim understood that this was an unanticipated expense and let me know that he was going to help me out on the final invoice. He applied a generous discount and wished me a Happy Thanksgiving. I walked out feeling as though I had someone looking out for my interests and I hope the Stamps team takes pride in knowing that they have absolutely earned my loyalty...a win-win situation, which should be the goal of any service provider.

I felt pressured to switch to a different size, and when I called back to stick with my original order, the response I got was not great. But everything changed when I spoke with the manager, Jorge. He really stepped up, honored my original price, got me in the same day, and even set me up with better tires. He was genuinely apologetic and quick to fix everything. Even weeks later, Jorge is still helping me with a rebate and responds right away every time. His communication and professionalism are top notch. Because of him, I would absolutely recommend this QC Discount Tire!

Often their tire pressure check has a line of 6-10 cars, so I pass them by, but this time my rear driver's side tire was low and there was only one car ahead of me so I decided to have them air it up. When I spoke to the tech, he suggested that I have them check it out for free since it was the only tire with a low pressure. I had them go ahead and check it since I could walk across the parking lot to the gym and have a nice relaxing workout. The only downside was that I had to park, go to the lobby and wait in line for 15 minutes for them to write it up. If they could have handled that at the pressure check, the whole process would have been much more seamless. They were fairly busy, and told me that it would be about an hour and a half, but it was actually less than an hour. I was actually just wrapping up my workout when I received the text update that my car was ready. I walked over and waited in the lobby to tell them that my car was ready. They had patched the tire with no charge (I do have their special tire warranty) and I was ready to go. I was disappointed that they did not set the tire pressure in all tires, especially the one they fixed to the door sticker specs. My car requires 40PSI for all tires and when I received it back the tire they repaired was 36 - which I am guessing they aimed for 35 as used in many vehicles without checking the specs. The others were 37, 37 and 39; so I doubt they even checked the others. Personally, I would suggest they check all 4 tires for both inflation and safety when the car is on the rack.
