From start to finish, Frank and his crew, Dave, Chris and Mitch were phenomenal. We were having issues with partial power loss and Frank came out and found a breaker needed to be replaced, did that within 20 minutes. I had a project to replace the 4-tube fluorescent light fixture in my kitchen with recessed lights and mini-pendants. I called Frank to get an estimate and he came over the next day. He spent the better part of an hour looking at my kitchen situation and explaining the various considerations involved in putting in recessed lights. I had previously done some research on planning and installing recessed fixtures, but after talking with Frank, it was obvious there are a lot of things that can only be learned though experience. He sent me a quote the next day, and gave me the option to purchase the materials (recessed light housings, LED trims, dimmers) on my own, which I did. I wanted LED lights with a soft-white color and high lumens, and special ordered these from Home Depot. Then I set up an appointment for installation the following week. His crew, Dave and Chris, showed up promptly and quickly got to work. Frank also came by and spent the better part of the day working hands-on with the team. They worked a good 9 hours straight; very friendly and professional. Quite a bit of effort went into planning the layout and working through and around obstacles inside the ceiling. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to install the lights without opening up a bunch of holes in the ceiling to run wires. In fact, they only needed to expand the existing opening from the old fluorescent fixture. All in all, the end result exceeded my expectations. I called AArdvark Electric to schedule an appointment to repair a non-functioning outlet in our garage. The owner of AArdvark answered the phone. He asked several questions and suggested I try resetting the GFI button in our first floor bathroom. He explained that in older homes, the GFI feature of garage outlets are often controlled by outlets in a separate location of the home. He was absolutely right. Problem solved! We only use Aardvark for all our electrical needs. Aardvark installed an electrical line for our above ground pool. They repaired a faulty breaker for us. They repaired an outlet that shorted on us. They fixed our front door lights when they suddenly stopped working. They installed multiple dimmers for us. They installed an electric car charger for us as well. Every time we have needed them in an emergency type situation, they have come out the same day. Every time we have needed them for an installation, they have come out within a couple of days to give us a quote and they begin the project as soon as we are ready. For my electric car charger, I called them on a Tuesday to ask for a quote for the project, and by Friday my charger was installed. Their pricing is very reasonable, and their work is always top notch. I don't trust anyone else with my electrical needs. Frank installed an antique chandelier that we took from our previous house. The chandelier was still in the moving box, and there were a few things missing--a chain, canopy, etc. He quickly suggested a place in town that sell antique lighting fixtures and he took me there himself to get the right parts. AArdvardk provides excellent customer service! I requested a quote and information regarding installing a ceiling fan. The problem was that my ceiling electric box was too small for the ceiling fan mount. Kris gave me several solutions for fixing the problem over the phone. He gave me an excellent price/quote but suggested that, since the solution was so easy, that I give it a go myself and offered a few tips/suggestions. Very useful!
