This wine bar is a gem in the middle of downtown Greenbay The wine on demand concept and pay with a card is not new, but in Greenbay it is. The wines are thoughtfully selected by the owner and divided by lights whites to heavy whites and light reds to big bold reds with plenty of choices to choose from You can have a small pour for as little as $1.00 so you can taste many wines and give your self a big pour of what you fancy Apparently they rotate their wine selection often so if you come back frequently, you can taste many more at a really reasonable price Plus they sell the hard to find wines at their establishment Another bonus is they serve snacks We ordered the Bilitong and cheese plate that was terrific IN case you don't know, Bilitong is a South African way to do beef jerkey- only it is not as dried out and it is more like a piece of overdone steak rather than shoe leather- really delicious stuff Next time I am in Greenbay, I will be back for more wine Cheers!!!

Wine was solid - prices were ok and selection could've been slightly better ($25 for a glass of alpha omega is steep). Charcuterie plates were great as well as the macaroons - need to try the burrata plates next time.

What a unique and comfortable place in downtown Green Bay! We love the concept of being able to serve yourself the wine by the ounce so you can try many varieties. Very nice atmosphere. The servers were very friendly. We had the South African board which had a variety of meats, cheese, and a delicious chutney. We will absolutely be back! We would love to do some wine tasting events here. Great place!

What a great addition to downtown Green Bay! Aardvark is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful evening with wine and some delicious food. The neat concept to Aardvark is you "pour" your own wine. The bottles are hooked up to a machine where you can select to pour a sample, half glass, or full glass of wine. It's a great to sample and not commit to lots of wine, especially if you're not sure what to try. The staff there are very friendly and helpful and can make a suggestion for you. The prices for a half or full glass of wine are not too bad, it's the price of a sample that's a little pricey. It varied between $1.50-$2. Don't go crazy on the samples. It makes sense though as you don't get wine out of a tap like beer, so it makes sense that they charge for the samples. My friend and I wanted to try some of the food. You can get a bunch of small plates of food there like cheese and charcuterie plates, salads, and bruschetta. I wouldn't recommend coming here for a full meal. My friend and I each got an order of the tomato and basil, and the salmon, sour cream, and chives bruschetta. You get four small pieces for each order, and both were absolutely fantastic. The salmon bruschetta was my favorite of the two. Can't wait to go again and sample more wine and food.

A really unique spot perfect for a date night or gathering with friends! A great variety of wines to try either as a taste, half glass, or full glass. They also have a good selection of small plates if you're hungry! We got bread, dipping oils and some cheeses. The decor is really hip and in a great location downtown Green Bay.

Super cute wine bar with delicious charcuterie and amazing truffles. A must stop when we visit Green Bay.

You just want to grab a cocktail at the bar. It's so inviting. The drinks: Yes, it's a wine bar! Grab that wine menu and find something you enjoy. But don't dismiss the cocktail menu - I have been able to have some AMAZING cocktails here. It just might be my favorite cocktail bar in the Green Bay Area. I was able to have a pisco sour - which is incredible hard to find up in these parts. The food. Great apps, shareable and dinner options! Of all the ways to go, highly recommend getting a bunch of shareable versus just getting one thing. Can't wait to get back here!

The place was not busy and tables were open but we chose 2 seats at the bar. The bar was also not full. A server gave us water immediately and some menus. And then we waited and waited. Finally after watching the 2 bartenders clean glasses, walk back and forth, chat with others at the bar, we asked if we could order drinks. We got our drinks and were not asked if we wanted to order food. The service was at the lowest laziest point I've seen in a long time. The place slowly filled up and others were served. Not sure why we were invisible. We had to ask to close out and when she brought the check I explained our experience. She was nice and apologized but the service was so unprofessional and although we love to support small local businesses there are too many choices to put up with inattentive service. Do better Amphora.

Very comfortable booth seating with well appointed throw pillows as well as a large bar. The fabric on booth side could use a thorough cleaning. I started with a glass of the Tempranillo and it didn't disappoint followed by an order of the Espana Olive Bowl. There were a variety of olives that were complimented with tomatoes and garlic and lightly seasoned with salt. I could have eaten the entire dish but opted to continue to order from the next section of the menu My next order was the Soasar Atún. The ahi tuna was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was garnished with spinach and tomatoes with a light dressing. I very much enjoyed this dish and once again held back on eating only half. My next order was the Scallop en crème saffron. Unfortunately, they took the scallops off the menu due to the cost (darn supply chain issues). My next choice was the Gambia's Al Allio. I question if I was actually eating prawns vs shrimp based on size and appearance. The dish came with a delicious broth and crostinis. This was my least favorite dish. The seafood was tough and a bit chewy; possibly over cooked. The seafood also came with the shells on, which I didn't mind. Plan to get your hands dirty. The broth was very good as were the crostinis. Better yet was the crostinis dipped in the broth. If the seafood wasn't overcooked, this dish would have been perfect. The service was very good. Because the restaurant was slow (I was the only patron) I was helped by the waitstaff AND the chef. While the chef was only 25 years old, I was very impressed with his cooking and attention to detail. The waitress was attentive but not overly, which I appreciated as I wanted to also read a book while I sat. I'm giving 4 stars because of the cleanliness of the place and the Gambia's Al Allio. Both things are easily correctable. I would absolutely recommend this place and will come back again

I did make a reservation on-line but couldn't get anything early except for an hour out so we walked over and immediately got a table - go figure. The service was a bit slow - not sure if they were lacking help but it was a drag. The score on this place would have been lower due to this issue but the food was strong and it was $7 martini night (on Tuesdays). I got one that tasted like a Blue Hawaiian, another got the Purple Haze and the third got the Strawberry shortcake- all looked beautiful and were very good. I ordered the BBQ chicken flatbread with a Korean BBQ flavor which was exceptionally good. My wife ordered the quinoa bowl which included chicken - she liked it a lot. The others had a different flatbread (I don't recall which one) and stuffed mushrooms which they shared and gave good reviews. The prices were reasonable. This place also is a wine store, thus the name.
