They have flight glasses to use and the usual stemless or stem wine glasses. The atmosphere is perfection, comfortable seating, low lighting at night, a great place for date night or celebrating. You plug your card into the wine you would like and push the button for taste, half glass or full glass. The price for each is next to the button. At checkout you give them the card and whatever you drank is added to your tab. They have charcuterie boards and bruschetta boards for snacks. All very good. Along the wall there are dispensing machines with a nice selection of wine. You can get a 1, 3, or 5 oz pour. The prices are reasonable -- $1-2 for a 1oz, $4-5 for a 3oz, and $6-8 for a 5oz. Mitch was our server, and he made the evening enjoyable for us all! It is clear that the owner put a lot of thought and intention into curating a great wine lounge experience. If you aren't interested in wine, but want to enjoy a night out, this is a perfect place to go! You can try a few samples if you'd like, but there are also non-alcoholic options. Just hosted a baby shower for my sister-in-law at Aardvark yesterday, and it was absolutely incredible. The venue was perfect, the food was delicious, the wine selection was delightful, and the Aardvark team (led by Jillian) was so thoughtful, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. What a great addition to downtown Green Bay! Aardvark is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful evening with wine and some delicious food. The neat concept to Aardvark is you "pour" your own wine. The bottles are hooked up to a machine where you can select to pour a sample, half glass, or full glass of wine. It's a great to sample and not commit to lots of wine, especially if you're not sure what to try. The staff there are very friendly and helpful and can make a suggestion for you. The prices for a half or full glass of wine are not too bad, it's the price of a sample that's a little pricey. It varied between $1.50-$2. Don't go crazy on the samples. It makes sense though as you don't get wine out of a tap like beer, so it makes sense that they charge for the samples. My friend and I wanted to try some of the food. You can get a bunch of small plates of food there like cheese and charcuterie plates, salads, and bruschetta. I wouldn't recommend coming here for a full meal. My friend and I each got an order of the tomato and basil, and the salmon, sour cream, and chives bruschetta. You get four small pieces for each order, and both were absolutely fantastic. The salmon bruschetta was my favorite of the two. Can't wait to go again and sample more wine and food. read more

Visited a friend from college a couple weekends ago in Green Bay and this was the first place she took me took. Thats because she loves this place and knew I would too. She was right, I loved this place! The interior design is fun and modern, the long benches by the windows in the front were so comfortable with seating. The idea of self-serving wine and being able to try so many different kinds was amazing! We had such a fun time! We also got the cheese platter which had amazing cheese options. My wife and I stopped in this past Friday during Restaurant Week, and had a very nice experience. The wine experience was unique, with cards and automated dispensing for each wine, with short tasting notes posted above each wine. One thing missing, however, is the personal experience in dealing with a knowledgeable person walking you through each wine and your likes and dislikes. The food is definitely more on the side of snacks than tapas, or small plates. There are some unique South African tastes (sausage and jerky), and then there are some "eh" dishes like bruschetta (way to thick on the bread), cheese fondue (great flavor in the cheese, but it could really be saucier) and extremely overbaked cheesecake (good flavor, but terribly dry). One of the things we both had an issue with was the value of the wine itself. We are both very familiar with a lot of different wines (and there prices), and while the wines they had were okay, they were a touch overpriced. The service was fast, friendly and extremely courteous. The decor is nice, and the location is wonderful. It's a nice place to stop in for a glass (or two) of wine before, or after a nice dinner. read more

This is a fun place to go with friends. You can each explore different types of wine and get a glass of what you like best. The appetizers are amazing! I love getting the bruschetta. This has to be one of the most relaxing and pleasant venues in Green Bay. So many reasons to love it. 1) The first distinctive is a chip-card tab self service wine bar - newbies can get wine insights and recommendations from staff as they walk you through the system, but the bottle descriptions are great and appealing. (Something for everyone, but I loved the Pinot Noir selection!) There is a non-alcoholic beverage selection as well of,your not drinking but want to visit with friends. 2) The food! I was told "very tasty snacks" and that was the understatement of the month! I think 4-5 cheese board/charcuterie board selections alone. The Scandanavian is the most popular. The Italian was ordered by friends- beautifully presented meats and cheeses, nuts, berries and jam, with the most lovely crostini ever, and perfect amount of balsamic drizzle accessible but not unavoidable. We ordered a board with beautiful blackberries and raspberries, fresh pecans and walnuts, 4 or 5 cheeses and balsamic, and cristini drizzled with a lovely green herb infused olive oil. Another treat we ordered was the 4 crostini generously topped with slivers of bosc pear, cheese, almond, drizzled with honey, with tiny sprigs of fresh thyme. 3) The decor is tasteful and comfortable. Sound absorbing cushions cut down noise bouncing making it a calm venue. Music is well chosen. Enjoy Beautiful light from the wall of North facing storefront windows during summer evenings, and take in the growing-downtown-GB vibe during winter. 4) Visit with the South African female owner and hear the story of how this came here to Green Bay and feel good about the world. read more

This place is oozing cool and hip vibes. First I love the décor. Walking in a nice gentlemen asked us if we wanted private or communal table. We pick the lather and pulled up to the long table closest to the wine. Dangerous place to be for sure. We were shown how you get a little debit type card to place in the wine machine. You can then select tasting option, half glass or a whole glass. This is great as you can pay for a tasting of the wine before getting a full on glass of something you may not like. This also adds up quickly if you are not careful. I tried the South African Charcuterie and Honey, pear and brie on bread options. The later option came first and the addition of fresh thyme on top was not lost on my palette. What a wonderful bite of food. The Charcuterie was like nothing I have ever have. The meat options paired really well with the chutney and cheeses. We were pleasantly surprised to have more of the delicious bread to pair with the tiny pickles on the platter. If I was rich I would be here every night. You really need to stop in. I will be back to try more food options really soon. read more
