I just had my first appointment with Dr. Przybysz and I can understand why he gets such great reviews. He was running a little behind and he actually apologized for the delay and explained why. I don't think I have ever had a Dr do that, and I have sometimes waited 2 1/2 hours past my appointment time. Once he saw me I was impressed by the fact that he had read up on my case and was already familiar with what he was walking into. On the day of my cortisone injection, every step was increasingly painful, and I was incredibly grateful you were able to squeeze me in on such short notice. Because of the pain in my left knee--especially when bending or using stairs--my ability to work out twice a week had been greatly limited. I couldn't use the treadmill or any leg-focused machines. But after the injection, which was almost entirely painless, I stood up with noticeably less discomfort. Since then, I've been able to resume my full exercise routine. My spine surgeon sent me here with a prescription for an injection. I never got to meet the doctor here as the office staff dropped the ball a few times with scheduling and then set me up to see a PA. The PA decided to create her own treatment plan which was for me to just come back and see her again in three weeks with no treatment in between. I get being conservative, but if the surgeon who has been treating me for several years, who oversaw surgeries and other pain management options felt the injection was necessary, then don't leave me hanging like Monarch did. I never went back to the three week out appointment BTW. Since I was new to the area, Monarch would have been a closer option. After this experience, I decided to make the longer drive and had the injection with my previous pain management doctor. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Przybysz. I had debilitating pain dx'd as lateral epicondylitis and shoulder muscle torsion from waking up old one November morning (aging is not for the meek or weak). It brought me to tears daily, easily 8-9/10 on the pain scale. I couldn't do anything other than lie on the sofa with hot packs and lots of ibuprofen - which really wasn't helping. PT could only help so much because the pain was getting in the way of progress. My PT therapist recommended finding a pain doctor. It never occurred to me to find such a specialist. I was able to find Dr. Przybysz clicking around Yelp (thank you). Dr. Przybysz is very compassionate & caring. He has been able to help alleviate the pain through regular, non narcotic, treatments. It's been about 3 months and I've made measurable progress with his help. He was able to reduce the pain enough for me to make progress in PT. It's a multi-aspect treatment including pain management & PT. While I've had a couple set-backs he's adjusted his treatment plan accordingly to help continue recovery & return to normalcy. So far, he's helping me get back pieces of my life that I don't think I would have otherwise had. I am hopeful that with his help I can return to normal life without any medical/PT interventions. His staff is amazing as well, from the front office to his medical assistant/NP/RN. Everyone is kind, friendly, and caring. It speaks volumes to how Dr. P runs his practice and cares for his patients. I can not imagine getting these treatments in less capable hands. He is very good at what he does. Doctor Prybysz is about an hour away from my house, the drive is totally worth it. I had been diagnosed with piriformis syndrome a year ago, had multiple injections and ineffective PT. One look at my MRI and Doctor Prybysz could tell I was misdiagnosed and that it was actually a 7mm bulging disc at L5-S1. I had my first set of injections today and am already feeling relief, I can't wait to see how I'm feeling in the next few days to weeks. I highly recommend Doctor Przybysz, he is the best pain management doctor and one of the best doctor's I have ever had the pleasure of being under care. I've been seeing Dr. Przybysz since early 2000 for a disc herniation. I've seen several doctors for the same issue and Dr. Przybysz was much more systematic to identify the actual problem and provide treatments that didn't rely on narcotic pain medications. I saw Dr. Przybysz for lower back and hip pain after being referred by an orthopedic surgeon. Before making an appointment I had looked at Dr. P's education and training which was very impressive. During my visits I found he listens very well, speaks in a way that you can understand the medical jargon, is very clear with his recommendations, and recommends the appropriate level and frequency of care. I have seen other doctors who would recommend aggressive treatments along with more than the appropriate number of procedures/tests and visits all for their financial gain. Dr. P's ethical approach sets the standard as far as I am concerned. After seeing Dr. P several times he came to the conclusion that my condition would not benefit from pain management treatment so he referred me to another physician outside of his specialty. first procedure helped for about a week... second procedure about the same.. then went in for the burning of the nerves on the actual pain site,., that held up for about a month,.. would not go back to do the side that wasn't hurting !... I' m sorry but Dr. Przbysz isn't the pain reliver dr. he promised me !.. I am still in constant pain and the meds he prescribed only helped for a very short time.. I stopped taking them as they don't work Physical therapy hasn't worked either.. I'm done paying out big bucks for stuff that hasn't worked. . read more
