From the first…read moremeeting with Eddie (the Owner) really listened to what we wanted and helped us design a backyard retreat we always dreamed of! CPC had been recommended to us by another satisfied customer. After meeting with Eddie we could tell that he is passionate and proud of his work and an honest person! His crew was professional and respectful of our property throughout the excavation and build. We had rainfall for several days but they kept us updated and finished the project in less than two months! What really impressed us was the attention to detail on the tile work and paver installation! Since completion, they've also been great about teaching us how to manage the equipment. Thank you very much for the great job you did, we love our pool! We highly recommend CPC pools if you're looking for a stress-free pool build!

When we were looking for a company to install a pool in our backyard it became a grueling process…read more We spoke with many contractors and ended up using CPC pools. I must say, it was a great experience. Eddie and his team were incredibly knowledgable since we had quite the hill in our backyard. The pool was finished in rapid time (4 weeks) and we were nothing but impressed. CPC was communicative during the entire process and cleaned up after themselves every time they were here during the construction phase. We are incredibly happy we used CPC Pools. If you are reading this and want to save money and time (from other companies giving long presentations before they give you a price) then hire CPC- you will not be disappointed. Thank you CPC (Eddie, Alex and team) for our dream pool!

SUMMARY: I was scheduled for an early, first-of-day service appointment; roughly 9:30AM. I called…read moreat 10:45 and 11:30; got an AI robot. No callback. At 2PM I called and connected w/Svc manager and let him know how terrible they'd been. Canceled the appointment, saying "If I want to be mistreated, get no technician and no callbacks, I'll call *you*." DETAILS: I've used Lake Norman Pool & Spa for service numerous times over the years. They haven't been perfect, but we were always able to correct and followup. This time was different. They're on their 3rd Service Mgr since we started with them, and frankly he's not great. Further, they're now using an AI agent/robot to handle calls. You *rarely* get a human. It's frustrating because she ("Sara") asks for every bit of info every time you call: phone, address, business/residential, and more. Then you get to speak your issue and hope she'll get it. VERY inhuman. Each time, she assured me a tech would call back with arrival time for my service call. Nope. For a first-of-day 9:30 appointment, I called at 10:45 (robot Sara), 11:30 (robot Sara), and then at 2PM to just cancel the appointment. I'd waited all morning, planned my errands for the afternoon, and wasn't going to waste an ENTIRE day for this nonsense. Luckily, I got the Svc Manager on my 2PM call, whose first response to me was a chuckle and, "Yeah, well Mondays are crazy." WHAT?! Like I'd brush it off and we'd share a laugh??!! I've talked with this guy in the past, and the vibe I get from him each time is casual, laid back, whatever. He needs to be on point, have answers, and exhibit good customer service. I told him how he'd wasted my day, how the AI agent 'Sara' had been a failure, and to cancel my appointment. I ended the call with, "If I want to be mistreated, waste a day, get no technician and no callbacks, I'll call *you*" and hung up. Honestly, I'd rather get voicemail and a human callback, or even just let it ring, than this half-baked attempt at cutting the workforce by using an inhuman AI agent. Lake Norman Pool & Spa is either understaffed, overbooked, or both, so beware. I give them 2 stars overall (credit for past performance), but ZERO stars for this encounter. Be better, guys.

We replaced our pool liner this year with Lake Norman Pool and Spa. It was one of the more…read moreaffordable companies that we got quotes from. In the end, the liner was installed and looks nice. There are a couple of sharp/pointy areas where it feels like something is trying to poke through, and I wish they had really smoothed them down before putting the new liner in. I'm worried about the long-term durability of those spots. Between getting an initial quote and the project being finished, communication was very bad. J Mitchell does not return emails or phone calls. The company didn't have a pump to empty our previous pool's water "because they're all in other pools." After the install I was outside pulling weeds and saw that the install team had dumped rubbish in our yard. It was like a five gallon bucket full of sand, foam, and vinyl had been emptied in our shade garden. I had to put on gloves and scoop it all out of the garden and move it to the trash. Within a week of the install, our liner came out and was drooping. It took over ten weeks, twelve phone calls (only two were returned), and ten emails (zero were responded to) for someone to come out and fix it.
