My wife's grandfather has an in ground pool and was having some issues getting the company that was handling it to show up and do the work he had paid them up front to do as they had requested. they billed him 6 weeks of services but only showed for 2. The pool was cloudy and had sand in the bottom. I looked up pool maintenance on Yelp and found Brett Morgan's company. it was around 7 or 8 when I sent the "request a quote" from yelp. I woke up the following morning to find Brett had replied to my message around 10 thay night. I called him as he requested and let him know what was going on. He made time that afternoon to go and check out the pool situation. He found the pool very cloudy and dirty. The two PVC pipes were leaking that we had requested the other company to fix, the pool had algae stains on the liner and Brett also found the algae and sand was due to the filter sand needing to be changed. He sent me pictures of the issues and quoted the repairs individually so we knew what to expect. He told me the PVC pipe repair would be done the next day but the other stuff would have to wait until next Friday (today) as he was waiting on the parts. Brett showed up exactly when he said he would and fixed everything. He sent me the pictures of everything before annd after and grandpa Is very happy. Brett is now the full time pool maintainer and is reasonably priced, honest and on time. Too bad many other contractors aren't the same. Look; pools cost money and maintaining them cost more. You either do it yourself or find someone who can do it for you. The latter can come back to bite you when you don't have someone who should be doing it, taking care of your investment. We took advantage of the LADWP $1000 rebate for pool pump replacement program. I initially for the idea from a flier I got in the mail from another company. I then started calling around to get other quotes for the same job. Brett took his time on the call to tell me about the Pentair VSP2 pump which is the newest variable speed pump from Pentair that he said is the best on the market. I looked it up after our call and sure enough, it's the best of the best. The flier I got in the mail was for another pump that had only mediocre reviews on Amazon. I've had my single speed Pentair pump since the pool was installed 10years ago and it's been going strong to this day. So if Pentair has the latest and greatest, it's a no brainier. I called Brett back to schedule the installation and he also gave me a $100 rebate form from the manufacturer during the day of the install. So all said and done I'll get $1000 back from LADWP, $100 from Pentair, and if I sell my old pump, the new pump will save me energy($$) and will pretty much be free, and should last me at least another 10 years. So all said and done, a win win situation. As far as the installation itself, it took about an hour and that same night Brett sent me all the paperwork for LADWP. We had Brett come out to evaluate our pump late 2019 because it sounded like it was on its way out. There was no point in trying to fix it for it had seen its day and we needed an upgrade from the already re-built 1 horsepower motor. Brett also recommended that we upgrade our very old DE filter, which I was actually pleased to hear because it was a real pain to clean due to the condition of the grids and overall condition. He gave us a very fair price and changed everything out that same day. He spent time showing me how to program the new Pentair 3 horse variable speed pump and Pentair DE quad filter. He even offered to come over when it's time for a DE change to go over the procedure. I highly recommend Brett's services and his pleasant personality is an extra bonus. read more

I called Brett because my main pump motor went out. He answered all my questions and gave me an estimate right over the phone. He knew everything about my system just by talking to me over the phone. He was able to make time the next day in between clients to replace my old pump with an IntelliFlo VSF pump. His installation was clean, quick and professional.
