A female employee quickly came over to assist us and give us information. She rapidly gave us a ton of specs and information on a bunch of the refrigerators. Since I wasn't well versed in the different brands, styles, specs etc, it was a lot of information to take in so quickly. I must have missed something that she said, because after I asked her a question about one of the refrigerators, she looked at my girlfriend, shook her head, rolled her eyes, and said "geeze it's like pulling your hair out with him." I couldn't believe it! What an extremely rude and disgusting comment. I am the customer! You aren't supposed to be insulting the customer. How stupid can you be? So unprofessional and nasty. I was planning on purchasing a lot of things from this highway appliance for my new house, but not after that experience!

Looked at GE website and picked Highway Appliance on the list...called them...talked to Carla....this was a Monday....she said she would have to order it but would have it on Wednesday...and matched the price that I found at a competitor. 48 hr turn around for an item..     well, well, well.... i am not surprised that the review service number is so low. allow me to share…read moresome of my experience with appliance part doctor. in the beginning we had a good relationship. in fact, i considered us business friends. we weren't neighbors, family, or dinner dates, but business friends!! no follow through on first set of appliances!! but i gave them another chance on customer service. then after i purchased a second set of appliances totaling $3200 their true side really showed. customer service took a turn south. things you want to know prior to purchase: -choose appliances that you specifically want to purchase and take a photo!! -discuss and get in writing what your warranty covers and for how long -make sure the appliance is scratched and/or dented. not damaged! there is a difference. -only complete the sale if you can receive a printed receipt (companies will likely not honor a handwritten receipt) hence, no warranty!! with both parties signing to confirm all persons are aware of all aspects of the purchase including warranty. i asked for a printed receipt over a week ago. still waiting!! they're a local company. and it could be emailed!! i have a handwritten receipt. my warranty for service was denied. and i must pay all costs. it is worth paying more for the appliance and receiving the service you need, rather than to take a chance and receive no warranty and no customer service. rest assured i will not give the staff at appliance part doctor/a & m scratch & dent in monongahela, pa any more of my time nor money!!! i suggest purchase elsewhere. save yourself from a stab in the back!!!!!

I had recently purchased a larger mailbox to replace the one we currently have. Upon opening it up to install it I found that it was damaged. I had purchased this mailbox at a different Lowe's location and decided that since I was going to be out running anyway that whichever Lowe's location I came across first would be the one I would exchanged it for. That just happened to be the Belle Vernon location. I came in with my big boxed mailbox and just wanted to do an even exchange. However, and I did not know this, if an item is damaged they have to refund your money and you just go an purchase a new item. A bit odd, but whatever, I was going to be doing that anyway. This interaction was quite the pleasant interaction that I was happy to be here. The associate took her time to explain the process so that I wouldn't be mislead in any way. And it set the pace for the rest of my time here. Once I made it through that I headed back to where they have their mailbox display. I find the one I wanted and of course the two that are on the shelves for purchase are damaged their self. I looked around for assistance, found one of those buttons and pushed it until someone showed up. This associate that showed up went above and beyond to help me. I explained that I had just returned a mailbox because of damage and that the two on the shelves were already damaged. I could see that on the top shelves there were several other of the same type I was in need of. This associate pulled over one of those rolling stairs, climbed to the top, grabbed two or three boxed mailboxes and brought them all down. Here is where he went above and beyond. He opened the box to let me inspect it to make sure it wasn't damaged. Not just opened the box, but pulled the mailbox out, showed me all angles, and the inside. I had confidence that this mailbox was in fact not damaged. When I got to the register they customer service did not stop there. Quick and fast. Asking if I found what I needed. And was quick to pick up on that I basically just did an even exchange when I handed her the exact change. If this location wasn't so far out of the way for me, this would be my first pick anytime I needed to go to a Lowe's

I have been waiting a month for my "parts to come in" since the initial diagnosis of my fridge. They told me that my parts were on back order and that they'd see them next week. Well, that week came and went as did three other weeks. I've tried calling and leaving messages with me being essentially ghosted since then. I understand parts go on back order as i'm in the automotive industry. But if you DONT KNOW when parts are coming in, just communicate that with the customer? Frigidaire are the ones who set me up with this company to service the warranty repair on my fridge. I asked them if the parts were on back order in any point in time and they told me they never were. I have never experienced worse service, and customer service than this. No one would answer my calls or voicemails until i reached out to Frigidaire themselves and had them call this bogus company. After multiple false promises of the days my parts would be delivered, someone FINALLY called me and asked me to confirm my appointment for the next day (July 11). I told her "I had no idea l even had an appointment tomorrow? Did my parts come in?" She told me they had so i told her i'd absolutely take the appointment. She told me someone would come to my house July 11 2025 to service my fridge between 8am-5pm. I called my dad to see if he was available to be at my house all day until they showed up so he cleared his schedule to be there. Well no one ever showed up! Lol. I called at 4pm July 11th to make sure someone would still be here today and they promised they would be and that the technician was just running a bit behind schedule. She said they'd be there between 6pm-7pm. So here i am. Waiting. It is now 8 pm. I have been sitting here since i got off work waiting for this jank company to show up and do what they promised to do and unfortunately it is likely not happening. So I will likely go another month without a fridge or have to go buy another one (because everyone has an extra 700-1000 dollars laying around. Right?). They have completely waisted my time and are the absolute WORST. I was so impressed with them when they came to diagnose my fridge but clearly it was all a facade. They're scam artists. I called Frigidaire and reported how terrible they are to them and requested that they take them off their warranty list for the pittsburgh area. Unfortunately I just got around to reading the other reviews on here and probably wouldn't of wasted my time had i'd seen those first. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and will continue taking it up the chain. What is the point of wasting peoples time? If you were never going to show up and just no call-no show me just say that. I'll find an actual, reputable company to do the repairs or just have Frigidaire replace my fridge. If you'd like to reconcile this, reach out to the number i have on file and i'll delete this review. Until then it's staying up to warn people of the behavior. IF YOUR WARRANTY COMPANY TRIES TO SCHEDULE THESE PEOPLE, REQUEST SOMEONE ELSE. Please take it from me -Someone who is extremely unhappy and has time on their hands to try to get this resolved legally. Thanks

The only positive thing…read moreI can say about this company is that their service was so consistently terrible that Speed Queen ended up replacing my entire machine -- something they rarely do. This was only possible because I kept detailed records of every missed appointment, ignored call, "backordered" part, closed ticket, and instance of blatant disrespect and dishonesty. The customer service was beyond unacceptable. Communication was nonexistent, promises were broken repeatedly, and I was left chasing answers that never came. It's clear this company has no regard for its customers or basic professionalism. If you're considering working with them, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Absolute trash company.
